I decided to take myself to the movies today. I wanted to take advantage of the discount Tuesday deal. Normally I would buy my tickets through the app, but it wasn't applying the discount. So I just physically bought my ticket at the concession stand. I actually hate that they change how you buy your tickets and you don't buy them before you walk through. You have to buy them at the concession stand now. There was only one person working that area so he was ringing up tickets and fixing food. Which made things a pretty slow process. I actually saw two movies in one day so the first interaction moved a little faster. But the second movie it took a minute because the people in front of me were joking and laughing and playing so they slowed down the process. At one point, I even saw a manager walk-through. The young man asked her to help with the popcorn . She did, but then walked away after that. I still had to wait for several more minutes before he finished up their order they paid and left. My second movie started at 5:30 and I stood in line waiting to buy my ticket and to go in and didn't get help until about 5:47. The guy apologize that it took so long with the people in front of me. But I think that they should have at least two people running the confession stand area. One person making the food and one person ringing up the tickets and the food purchases. Things will run a lot smoother. I can only imagine what it's like if there's a line of people. Again, if the app would have been applying the price for the discount Tuesday, which is $6.99 I would've just purchased through my app and it would've been a much smoother process. So I think that's something that they should look into. The theater that went in both were fairly clean and pretty empty. It was only me and maybe a couple other people so that was great. I did go to the restroom after the first movie. The one that's inside the theater. The bathroom was nasty. Each toilet had pee and tissue all in it except the handicap. I felt bad for having to use that one, but it was the cleanest out of all. I usually don't go to this theater and now I kinda remember why I don't. read more

This movie theater is located in the Arbor Place mall. In order to access the theater you must enter the mall near the food court. When we arrived there was no one working the ticket counter on a Sunday evening so we had to purchase out tickets by the self serve kiosk. For two movie tickets the price was close to $30. You must choose your seats when you buy the tickets in person or online. We ended up getting a large bucket or popcorn and a medium slurpee for $17. The popcorn had a good flavor but it was too much salt on it. The concession stand clerk was friendly. No one checked our tickets as we entered the area to find out theater. read more

Out of all of the Regals I've been to, I must say this one is my least favorite. Upon entry, the venue feels very old and outdated, which also reflects in the theater rooms. The seats are much older, and slightly uncomfortable depending on what you're used to. The sound system was also very loud, much louder than I've ever heard in a theater before. Besides that, the snacks are extremely over priced, and I ended up paying about $8 for sparkling water. I enjoyed the movie itself, but I probably won't dine to this theater again. read more

Just spokes to the manager Jim about my issue and he basically said "oh well..." To start, I admit that my original issue was NOT with this regal, but the Austell location. I took my daughter to see little mermaid and within minutes she was knocked out. I decided to leave and come back to see it at a later time and the front desk employee said it was fine. After calling for nearly 3 weeks, I paid the location a visit to see why they weren't answering the phones. To my surprise they were closed permanently with signs on the door and boxes in the lobby. As a single father, I get my daughter on weekends so I called today to the Arbor place location with a question: will you [as a fellow Regal location] honor the tickets I have from the Austell location since they are now closed. Tim told me there's no way that he could verify that I was telling the $22 truth about my daughter sleeping through a movie, although my tickets are stamped for the 4th of July and the location closed the next week. I offered to show him photos of her sleeping that I took before I decided to abandon the movie and he alluded to me lying about them and compared me to "someone just trying to see a free movie..." I'm am pretty sure that NONE of the theaters are packed to capacity where a good will gesture would hurt his bottom line. On top of that, my kids spend twice as much at the concession stand. All being said, I'm forfeiting my Regal membership and hitting Studio Movie Grill this weekend. They have lower prices, better (individual) seats, and you can have adult cocktails in the theatre! I have not been to Arbor Place Mall in years so I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is still in fair condition. I will say that I found it to be pretty dirty inside as far as overflowing trashcans everywhere. I did see a late movie so maybe the staff had not made the rounds to clean up yet, but I was quite put-off by the overflowing trashcans throughout the theater. I probably would not come here again anytime soon. I prefer a more sanitary theater experience. read more

First off we waited 15 minutes for chicken tenders, then for some reason the movie didn't start til 40 minutes after the start time for the movie. Usually you expect 15 minutes after it says it's going to start. The other people watching the movie with us was wondering if that was even the right movie screen because it took so long. Not even to mention the rat we experienced walking out of the movie. Oh and i will be including pictures. The movie theater was very spacious and clean. The employees were very nice and helpful. The staff was young, so that makes the experience that much better. There were plenty of options to choose from, my feet weren't sticking to the floor, and the bathrooms were clean and smelled good. read more

All I wanted to do was go to the movies to see Acrimony. Sometimes taking short cuts just because you don't want to drive the distance is just not worth it. I went to lunch in Douglasville and then wanted to catch a movie. Sounds simple right? Nope. The problem is I think I have been spoiled by another theater experience. I am used to leather comfy recliners that have legroom and arm room. This theater has stadium seats. That's a no go ! These seats do not recline. They have hard plastic cup holders at the bottom of the seats which make it uncomfortable for someone of size. Not even going to talk about how the theater itself is dirty. They don't clean between shows. Not the experience I was looking for on a Saturday night. read more

My friend and I only wanted to see the newest Spider-Man movie, but we were told that we couldn't use cards in the line, so we had to move lines. In the middle of the transaction, everything was immediately changed, and then they informed us that the line we were in was accepting both cards and cash. Being treated in this manner is uncomfortable for the customers. Overall, I had an awful experience because the kiosks were also very challenging to use. I also needed change and when I asked in the cash only line for change they told me no and gave me the side eye. Please, under no circumstances, come here. read more

Will never return. Movie theater is dirty. You pay for tickets at the kiosk, theres no attendant anywhere to give you direction as to which area youd find your movie. It's also not on your tickets, I had to go ask the worker at the snack counter. They couldnt find it on my ticket either, they had to look in the computer to see which theater the movie was playing. . Matinees are expensive ! The nachos were disgusting, didn't eat them. Wasted a lot of money on snacks that were really gross. We watched a scary movie; the lights on theovie theater stayed on the entire time. That's insane! The seats are so uncomfortable. This place is weak! Total management failure for the launch of avengers. It's not like they didn't know it was opening this weekend. Had four concession lines open - waited 40 minutes before finally stepping out of line and I was only halfway up the line. Even the employees who were going off shift were covering their AMC shirts and badges looking sheepish and embarrassed about how bad things were. Should have staffed up but they don't care enough about their customers to invest in their experience. This theater had an entire other half of a concession line on the back side they could have opened - but likely didn't bother to schedule the staff to open it. No management available. read more

I just left from the theater and I wanted to see the new Insidious movie and overall the movie was good but it would have better if there wasn't a group of unsupervised teenagers talking and laughing the ENTIRE movie. They also were moving to different seats throughout the movie. At one point some of the employees came in the theater and that was the only time they were loud but as soon as the employees left they were back at it. Multiple people were asking them to be quiet and they would still talk and laugh. Some girl got on the phone in the middle of the movie. It was really a waste of money and time. So that made my experience bad, maybe the theater should be more strict on checking on each movie showing throughout the day. Anyways I would recommend going to movies during the morning when teenagers aren't there otherwise your experience might be like mine. It's a really nice movie theater, although the last time I actually went was in 2014, for my 13th birthday with my grandmother and now-late grandfather, to see Alexander and The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. I've also went several times with other family members, including my late mom and also my dad. It's a really nice theater and contains really huge auditoriums with enough space and room for a large audience, much bigger than other theaters I've been to in my 20 years of life!! I've been to the Regal at Arbor Place a lot of times. This is mainly because i use to live really close by. When this place first opened back around 2000 it was really nice. It is still a nice theater, but not as nice as it was. This theater has 18 screens. if i remember correctly 4 or 6 of those are very large screens where they always put the really popular stuff. All the other screens are rather small and somewhat cramped. The picture and sound quality is good but the sound tends to be bass heavy and sometimes a little too loud for the theatre size. In the large theaters this isn't as much of a problem. The concessions are usually not bad but i tend to avoid them because they are stupid expensive just like every other theater so its not really surprising. The bathrooms are usually nice and clean which can be rare for a theater in a mall. The problem with this theater is mainly with the crowd. This place gets filled with highschool kids and thugs on friday and saturday nights. There has been more than one shooting outside the theater and more than a few fights inside. If you go to this location on friday or saturday night park infront of the mall and leave through borders or the front door when you leave, avoid the back exit near the theater. Since this place has gotten so rough i usually avoid it and head to other less crowded theaters in the area but during the week or on sunday its a pretty nice place to catch a movie. read more

The concession line doubles as the ticket line. This is inefficient. You have wait for people pick seats, change their mind, ask about recommendations, request job applications, and then order concessions before you can place a basic order. They need ONE line that is dedicated to selling tickets and one ticket kiosk. People can alsi purchase tickets online. EVERY EMPLOYEE at the concession stand should NOT be selling tickets. The GM should know better. I wish there was an AMC nearby. The competition would kill them so they'd do better, without competition they waste your time, like you have nothing better to do. read more

If you are going to to watch a movie, I suggest you eat first. Lol on premier nights it is so packed. I miss led half of the movie waiting in line to get concessions. There was only one popcorn machine functioning at the time. I must admit I am a little biased as I am used to the reclining seats and this theater doesn't have those. The overall sound is fine though and if you want to see a quick movie this is harmless. I just like to enjoy my movie time with all the bells and whistles. Regal isn't AMC but for the most part, movie theatres are movie theatres. What I do like about Regal is that the stadium seating they provide. There is plenty. Looks like a baby college basketball arena. No body's big head in the way from the view of your screen. I thought the concession stand was average and the bathrooms were somewhat clean. Not food and a movie type of deal but sucks that it does not have it's own separate entrance from the outside of the mall. Little bit of walking if you ask me just to see the movie. I will start with WATCH YOUR RECEIPT! My husband treated me to a "date afternoon". We purchased our tickets and then went to get popcorn and a drink. I noticed that the total was over $14 but had not hit $15 and then the attendant said that it was $15 even. I looked at the receipt and there was a charge for charity. We never authorized an additional charge nor were asked if we wanted to donate. When I asked the attendant about the charge, she spouted off charities that Regal Cinemas supported. I told her that, "in the future, you need to ask first". Her response was, "my register is set up like this". In my opinion, this amounts to stealing. read more

this place has horrible staff members and is a very rundown movie theater it needs to be updated. the staff either dont clean or not well the theaters after showing mutable time coming here my seat has something nasty on it and or the armrest. the floors are always sticky and covered and dust and pop corn its very unsanitary the bathrooms are also very nasty the trash is always full and bathrooms always have nasty floors. do not recommend. I've been going to this movie since I moved here in 2014, I've seen some hits at this theatre, possibly a pivotal one in my young life, i usually have a good time. But when I tell you, as I watched Batman today, the distraction provided by these CONSTANT LIGHTS was nearly unbearable. Lights when they walk in late, lights while the movie is on, i swear one man (and I think he was an employee) had his phone out and all bright for the the LAST 30 MINUTES OF THE MOVIE! I swear, since it opened back up, people don't know how to treat the movie theatre any more! Please crack down on this. I can't have my movies like this. read more

Mrs Keisha at the regal arbor place will unexpectedly pop up and ask you for your ticket. Be aware, she will pop up MULTIPLE times asking for your ticket.. for no reason. Let's do the whole run down. 1st, She tells my friend "can't charge your phone" okay coo. We move to the other side of the hall * all the way down the hall*. After that, she comes up to us immediately after we move. Asking us what movie are we attending. We respond, she pulls out a whole book looming and skimming the pages. She tells us we have to wait outside (not in the hall). Okay we moved once again. We go to the entrance of the movie theater to wait our 30 minutes until we are allowed back into the hallway of the theater. Another person we were with goes to ask the manager is it true that we have to wait 30 minutes before we go into the hall again. He tells us absolutely not, and just to wait 15 minute. As we are waiting , the same "security guard" is peaking around the corner MULTIPLE times as if she's literally waiting on us to do something else just so she can walk down and tell us we can't do something else. We finish our 15 minute wait , we go back in the hallway. She follows us down the hallway back into the same place we were before. We go to the bathroom and everything. She's still there .... as we are waiting in the hall for about 3 minutes , here she is again asking us what movie we are and what time. We tell her the same movie and same time AGAIN . She said okay as she walked off. We're waiting for about another 10 minutes for the previews to start. As we are walking to the movie theater *5* she flags us down and harasses us once again about what movie theater we're going into. ok coo , we start complaing about how she's follwing us and harassing us yet not doing it to no one else.? She then proceeds to tell us to shut up???? Shes telling a group of 3 teens to shut up?? Very unprofessional.. want my refund of 67.45 real bad. read more

Arbor Place is so behind it's not even funny. We waited 30 minutes in line to get popcorn and drinks. We thought we were doing something by getting there early. As soon as we finished in the line the movie was starting. Definitely needs an upgrade. read more

Have been here a number of times over the years and the viewing experience I get, always depends on the other patrons in the theater. Will the other people in the theater be quite? Will they talk during the movie? Will someone be using their phone to text, their glaring light distracting you from the movie? Will you have some oaf grazing on a never ending bucket of popcorn? Will some mother bring her annoying kids with her? Will some fool turn up 10 minutes into the movie and then stand there blocking part of the screen, while they try and decided where they want to sit. Will you be the only person in a 300 seat theater, only to have someone come in at the last minute and sit right in front of you? Unfortunately it is the other patrons at the cinema that decides your viewing experience and not really the cinema it's self. I was there today and when I went to get my ticket, I noticed that the information board was a jumbled mess of symbols. I joked with the girl at the booth that I was unable to read Egyptian Hieroglyphics, she seemed less than impressed with my humor. Lucky for me, my viewing experience was not marred by the other people in the theater, as for once, everyone was being quite, although twice I did see some Oxygen Thief texting on their phone. My advice, go to the first showing on a week day and you should avoid most of the crowds and rude people! read more

This is the only movie theater I've ever been to that was located inside a mall, so it's not really surprising that it's jam-packed on the weekends. Nor is it surprising that it's not always spotless (is any movie theater?). And considering most staffers are teenagers working for minimum wage, it's also no shocker that you don't get exhilarating customer service. However, I really like coming to this movie theater for a few reasons... 1. It's in the mall! So great. 2. Opportunities to buy cheap grub at the food court abound. Hint, no one should complain about the pricing inside the theater (PS - pricing at every movie theater is overpriced by consumer standards - but consider that you just paid $10-15 for a ticket to a movie that cost millions to make...it's really not so bad. And if you keep complaining, just wait for it to come out on Netflix!). 3. This theater is really big, and generally has EVERY movie playing in it, including all the 3-D'ers. While it can be insanely busy, if you do it right, it can be an easy experience. On to the tips for an easy experience: 1. If it's a new movie or a peak time (aka anything on the weekend), the Fandango.com $2 convenience charge is WORTH every damn penny. You arrive at the theatre with tickets in hand, laughing at all the idiots who will clearly wait in line for the next 45 minutes. You can also casually snicker at those who thought they could get away with not buying from Fandango.com, who are now in line at the Fandango computer stand (note, this is always shorter than the regular ticket line and great if you didn't follow my directions and order online first). 2. You're at the mall, you're never going to find a parking space in the front row by the theater entrance 10 minutes before the show starts. Park early or drop someone off at the door. 3. Same rule applies for the concession stand. It's a big theatre. You're going to have to wait in line if you want that monster tub-o-butter--er, I mean popcorn--so if you're going to get food, get there early. Or, see my previous list and buy something in the food court. read more

I was not aloud to enter the concession area 34 min. before the movie started. The guy taking the tickets said it was there policy? WTF. I had just spent $70 on tickets for 5 and was about to spend $30 on concessions. I could understand if it was busy, but there were only 10 ppl in the lobby. The mall is full of kids whose parents drop them off as a means of daycare. The movie theater is high priced and they normally only have two people selling tickets on a weekend night. Then you have to stand in another line for concessions. The last couple of times I have watched a movie here someone plays on their phone nearly the entire time. Drive to the nearest NCG and have a better experience. Stay away from Regal Cinemas at Arbor Place Mall. You'll feel like you were robbed and who knows you might actually get robbed while you're there. read more

We go to movies on Sunday afternoons fairly often at this theater, and it is usually a really enjoyable experience. Today, apparently, was the obligatory exception to the rule. My mom, sister, daughter, niece, and I went out today to see Mars Needs Moms (really enjoyed the movie itself, by the way!) and had the absolute worst customer service we've ever had at this theater. The lady selling tickets was rude and curt and rolled her eyes when my mother asked her about the Regal loyalty card she has, and then questioned us rudely about the age of the child with us. The kid taking ticket stubs did ask how we were doing, but when we reciprocated in kind, he proceeded to complain about how hungry he was. I need to know this why? I guess I should just be glad he spoke to us at all. The jerk behind the concessions counter couldn't be bothered to even make eye contact with us, much less smile or exhibit any interest in his customers at all. We tried to gently tease him into a conversation, but it just wasn't happening. I could understand - if not condone - this behavior if the theater had been packed, but there was only one family ahead of us and absolutely nobody else behind us. It was a matinee show and things were very quiet. Matinee notwithstanding, movie ticket prices are expensive and concessions even more so, and I just do not understand why I should have to pay exorbitant amounts of money to be treated like crap. Jobs are scarce right now, and I'm sure if Regal tried, they could probably find someone who wanted any one of those three jobs more than the three people we dealt with today. We probably will go back, simply because it is the best of the theaters in our area. Hopefully by then, though, these employees' sorry attitudes will have landed them in the unemployment line where they belong. Harsh? Yes. But I work in customer service, too, and have to keep my happy face on even when I don't feel it, too. read more
