I hadn't been to Regal in years and went recently to watch a new movie. Purchasing tickets online was easy enough and we were set to plan our visit. The parking lot had plenty of spots to choose from. Once parked we went inside. We were not at all expecting to see the lines we did at concession. First there is no pricing on the menus which I think people should know what they may pay but this part really slowed down the ordering process. I also feel like the theater is very short handed. We waited over 30 minutes for a popcorn and drink. You do get refills but in reality who's going to wait half an hour for a refill. The theater was basic with standard chairs but did have great sound. In all, I likely won't go back and if I do it'll be when the crowds are least expected. read more

I went to see the highly anticipated documentary by RM of BTS. When I arrived I asked the ticket person for the free merch that was to be a poster and photocard and he said "I have no clue check at the concession stand." I went to concession and three high school age looking girls actually laughed at me and told me " we don't have anything" then they started whispering to one another and giggling while looking at me. There was a manager close to them but all she said was "I don't know" she seemed a bit intimidated by the other 3 employees and didn't even reprimand them for being disrespectful to me. This is my second time attending this theatre and not receiving the promotional items both times is enough!! I will not be returning a third time! Two movies, both such terrible viewing experience. 1. Watched the Matrix. We wanted the theater experience, I should have just gotten HBO. The lights never went off and the projector was dark. I thought it was just the way Matrix filmed it (I purposely don't watch trailers), so when we finally watched the trailer after the movie in our non-4k, non-HD TV, it was still better than the theater and realized how shitty their quality is. 2. I've been looking forward to watching spiderman. The previews alone was dark, had a magenta hue. I told my husband about but I think he just didn't want to deal with leaving and asking for a refund, so I sat through it. I was so disappointed once again. My teenagers and I visited this theater for the first and last time to see Spider-Man No Way Home so my review is a little late. We had the worst experience we've ever had at a theater. I can't say that there were any problems with the staff. There were children running around and people talking during the movie and when the lights came up, I was disgusted to see that other patrons had just thrown their garbage on the floor. read more

I chose to go to Regal Cielo Vista because of the staff there. They are always friendly and provide excellent customer service. While the theatre itself doesn't have some of the more updated amenities (i.e. reclining chairs, expanded food menu, IMAX), most of the auditoriums are very well-kept. It has 18 screens total, 1 of which is an RPX. The RPX auditorium has a 60-foot screen, leather seats, and a capacity of 458. The arcade is nice and small but offers a variety of games such as racing, claw machines, and a photo booth. It also has a projector screen that plays trailers and publicly licensed movies around the holidays. Overall, it's a bit slower than most locations but because of that, they try to do everything they can to enhance your movie-going experience. Extremely pretty theatre with a great staff! read more

2.5 Stars. As aforementioned in another review for me seeing movies can be a form of escape. But lately these days it seems I like I am trying to avoid them altogether. With the loud, over the top mega-theaters bustling at the seams with even more obnoxious patrons gives me reason to pause. But when the film you went to see superceded your experience there, well that can be bad too. Which is not to say that this is not a good place to see a movie. For example its positives are the contrast between stadium seating in an intimate space. This creates a feeling that the room is much larger than it really is, thus the screen pops out. The sound system is quite impeccable which brought out the nuances of the film. My 2.5 star review comes from the overall vibe and service by staff here. Firstly the vibe of the theater is busy and frantic. It's proximity to a local high school means its intended audience are teenagers. Thus raging teens are swarming everywhere texting, taking selfies and carrying on as though it were a Hannah Montana Convention. Since adolescents by and large are the majority of the patrons here, they also make up most of the staff to include management. This was made painfully obvious when i went to get a popcorn refill. In their defense there was a sign that indicated the lane was closed. The problem was the sign was so small that I couldn't read what it said. So I stood in full view of the manager, to try to get his attention but he ignored me. By then all the lanes were in full force and I could tell the pressure was getting to the concession workers. A more seasoned manager would have asked patrons to be patient thus taking the weight off his workers. But the young gentleman, barely in his teens like his coworkers constantly went to the back of the concession booth; allowing his workers to shoulder the brunt of the stress. The ticket booth was also not that much efficient either. Although the staff were much older compared to other parts of the theater nonetheless the results were the same. I probably could go on about how that particular booth was inefficient also but why. I'm sure I have taken enough of your time just by you reading this. The frantic vibe and the less than stellar service certainly dampened my experience here. I love movies and will continue to give my patronage to a theater that reciprocates that sentiment. I'm still waiting for the day when a selfie stick pops up from the audience during the most crucial scene of a movie. read more

I don't know where to start... a/c was not working properly and when we notified staff that it was hot in the theater I was ( told o ya it's been giving us problems) with a laugh.. Maybe I came on a bad day... BUTTTT during my visit I witnessed someone getting their popcorn & snacks stolen while the employees did nothing to help the man whose items were stolen. There was poop smothered on the toilet seats in the women's bathroom & some shady business going down in the parking lot. Along with the aforementioned issues the lines moved ridiculously slow. I understand during big movie nights it's going to be packed but this was ridiculous. There were​ also several lights that stayed on or were flickering through the entire movie in auditorium 3 & as others have stated had a pungent smell of mildew. Cielo Vista is Spanish for "The Gigantic Ghost Town Theater On the Hill Out In The Middle Of Nowhere", they just couldn't fit it on the sign. Plenty of parking, both because the lot is huge and 90% of the time, no one is ever here. Have heard of friends who go here on weekend evenings, who say there are tons of teens that come here and security looks through purses and bags and makes them feel unsafe- but I've yet to experience it myself. Mostly because I avoid going when teenage hoodlums congregate, intentionally. Props to the staff here for always knowing where each movie is playing and which auditorium is in what direction- having 18 of them, when the median age of employee is probably lower than that, makes this surprising. (Is that ageist?) Staff is also good at putting up those giant new-movie promo displays, perfect for watching other people take awkward photographs with. read more

I will NEVER EVER come back to this theatre. When I arrived there was a horrible smell. When trying to order multiple items from the menu they were out of everything. Going into the actual theatre the screen was a weird color which made the movie hard to see. There were multiple people talking throughout the movie. There were kids in a rated R movie laughing throughout the whole movie making racket. When leaving, the car in front of us got broken into. We saw Tomb Raider last weekend here, and it was our first time at the theater. We used Atom Tickets ahead of time which made getting in fast, so no opinion on the ticket-cashier service. But everyone was friendly, and concessions were fine. I got a free small popcorn for my birthday, which is rad. Plenty of snacks, food, etc etc. Theater was big, spacious, and stadium seating which is always a plus. No complaints! Perfectly reasonable theater experience. Don't go see a 2D movie at Cielo Vista 18 & RPX. Went and saw Ready Player One showing on Thursday in theater 9. The screen was so dim it was like I was wearing sunglasses. Saw two images one on top of each other coming out of the projector booth. They had the 3D lens on the Projector for later and/or earlier showings. The brightness was atrocious. Went and complained to management, but they never cranked up the brightness or removed the 3D lens. Didn't help that there was a line to get concessions with one kid working and taking so long. There was a manager counting the tellers and could have opened a register to help out or said sorry for the inconvenience. Usually go to Santikos or Alamo Drafthouse. There was a scheduling issue, so went to this Regal. Big mistake. Won't go again. Will just wait for another day and go to Santikos or Drafthouse. read more
