Like a young Meryl Streep. The theater we saw her production in was a fairly basic black box theater. It was very full the night we went. I think there are 3-4 rows level with the stage and these are not ideal. Because anything happening upstage and you're in the 3rd row, you can't see it. So, yes you could argue it's a staging issue but that's not the whole thing. Other than that fairly sparse affair. Clean. Seemed to be well managed.

I saw Ninja Turtles (the og) is playing soon as well as The Muppet Movie and Young Frankenstein. I didn't hit up the concessions but they have the usual goods and a small selection of beer on top of soda bevs. I feel like if you are trying to impress someone on a date this is more quirky than just taking them to a regular AMC.

In exchange, one will take away rich and unique experiences never matched at mainstream cinema houses. If you're keeping tabs on the Film Forum, you can catch the directors, producers, writers, and actors in conversation, presentation and response from audience questions at the premiere of the films on Fridays and the weekends. The staff member also went out of her way to separate the popcorn for all three of us, which we really appreciated. We ended up with great seats and an unforgettable experience. I sat at the front row center, where the action occurred. This production features both original and non-original music that ties in well with the short anecdotes. It teaches an important lesson on how labels misrepresent us and what it means to be an ally to those suffering from being mis-labeled and misunderstood.

While I'm not at liberty to discuss the film, (legalities and all) the Screening Rooms are not off limits and up for review. There are 2 Dolby Screening Rooms located in the lobby of an office building. Under normal circumstances you would not know it was there. The room that hosted our screening seats approximately 88 people, while still maintaining a intimate feel. The black leather seating is extremely comfortable with reclining options available. The Dolby rooms are of course equipped with Dolby sound all around. Outside of the screening room you will find a small waiting area and private restrooms tucked away. Overall a very nice option to host a private screening or to enjoy one, if you happen to get an invite. Just A Note: There is an additional screening room with less capacity for a much smaller crowd.
