First of all, I would just like to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to these amazing staff employees... MICHAEL for taking our orders and helping us out on what great and delicious food snacks to try & PAUL for greeting us with a wonderful smile and helping us with questions we had during our experience here in REGAL. Why a 4 star review...? Because I got tickets to see the Mandalorian & Grogu Movie in ScreenX. But when the movie began, there was No ScreenX projections on the side of the theater throughout the whole 2-hour movie. I asked the employees in the end and they said that they were sorry about it. And they gave us FREE Ticket Vouchers for our next movie here at Regal Cinemas. Sadly we couldn't get a refund cause they said it was too late, but hey! FREE Ticket Vouchers still sound great!!! Thank you so much to all the staff and employees working there. Greatly appreciate all your hard work. Thank you REGAL CINEMAS!!! Will be back soon!!!!

Back at this Regal theater, aka Renaissance Theater. This place is located in a very busy street and intersection on Main St and Garfield. There's a structure for parking though it can get crowded sometimes. They have a decent concession stand with drinks, popcorn, and various snacks. Some of maybe all the rooms have been renovated. I remember the old school cloth seats. Now it's like leather with mechanical reclining. It's a decent movie experience on the standard screen. Best to buy tickets in advance to select your seat. Plus if you're a regal member you rack up points for rewards. Afterwards you can grab a bite at the many restaurants on Main St. definitely a plus for this area. There's a boba Time, Applebee's, kbbq and much more all around.

Came here on a Sunday to watch the Haikyuu movie with a friend! Had two regal tickets gifted to me years ago, so glad I finally had an excuse to use them. Booked my seats a few days in advance online, and was pleasantly surprised that the screening of the film lasted a few days. Normally anime movie screenings, when not the most popular shounen series, literally only screen for a day or two on Thurs/Fri, but the Haikyuu screening had dates for Sat/Sun too. Grabbed tickets for a Sunday screening at around noon. What I didn't love was that redeeming my free tickets required me to still pay an online service fee...I know it's not this specific locations fault, and it an upper management thing, but it's still pretty messed up imo =_=. I'm sure I could've used them to get the seats in person at the box office, but I wanted to guarantee good seats. It is what it is though. Plenty of free parking in a structure right next to it. Scanned the barcode on my phone, and was in immediately with no hassle. Very quiet day with very little people. My friend and I were the only other people in our theater screening, minus another couple a few rows above us, and that was super awesome. Didn't love the 15 mins worth of ads they made us sit through though. Reminder to myself to show up like 10 mins after the supposed movie start time to save my own time. But otherwise, the movie was great! The subtitles were wonky in some places, but I think that much be a localization issue? Laughed in many parts, held back tears in others because I didn't want my friend to see my cry. Seating was kind small and uncomfortable, but I think that's the standard. Would definitely come again though!

The new seats are comfy and makes the movie experience more enjoyable. When purchasing the tickets it's really easy because you are able to do it online and pick your own seats. Therefore you don't have to rush to theater to stand in line and order your tickets. You can purchase at your convivence. When you order large drink and popcorn, you are allowed 1 free refill. I would get the refill at the end of the nieces at home to enjoy.

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is behind the building. The parking garage is pretty big and has several levels. Parking shouldn't be an issue. Each space is wide. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, and tidy. Staff: The staff here are very welcoming, friendly, kind, and courteous. Massive shout out to DJ Chris. Dude was so chill and helpful when I asked him to help me take some pics in front of the Titanic poster. I always have photos of myself in front of the Titanic poster or screen time as a way for me to reminisce all the times I have seen it in theater. Anyways, Chris and I ended up being friends because we share a similar hobby. How cool! They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

I rarely write reviews for theaters. This might even be the first time. I m surprised by how clean the recliners were. Newer and cleaner than other theaters I have been too. The recliners were super comfortable as well. It made the movie extra good. They do need to guide people on how to get tix for walk ins lol We didn't really know where to get tix since the front was closed. We had to find a kiosk to purchase. There was only 1?? Strange lol We didn't get anything to eat. We only got a water bottle for $6.99. Pretty outrageous... It was nice =] I know where I will go for movies next time...

Decent place to watch movies in Alhambra. I've watched over a dozen movies here and it's always decent. This time around it was busy as they were hosting the Stranger Things Finale. It came with a $11 food voucher and the concessions operators were confused how it worked and told me I had to use the vouchers separately when many other people were adding them together. A clear miscommunication between the staff. Nonetheless the foods okay/overpriced and the movie seats were good. Overall decent experience every time.

It was my first time at this theatre. Everything was clean, workers were kind and helpful but all the rows in theatre 9 (I don't know if they're all like this) have these half walls for separation and if you recline your seat even just a little, you can't see the bottom part of the screen. I am 5'1 and experienced this issue.

The Regal Edwards Renaissance in Alhambra is there in the same location at the corner of Main St and Garfield with retail stores and restaurant doorsteps away from the movie theater. Now, Regal Edwards is installing new reclining seats in each in their movie theater. It has been through some remodeling in the theater, but there's still work contuine to make more better to see the movies.

So ugly now, what happened to the Edward's really making Alhambra look ghetto. The old one really has a pop especially at night where Main Street is most busy and really draws in the customers especially the community so I don't know what corporate thought but this is not a good looking sign compared to back then. I'm disappointed

First time at a Regal Edwards other than the one in Granada, and I got to say.. I really love the upgraded recline lounge chairs!! For a Regal, I never expected there to be exceptional seating because of past experiences. It felt very fresh and clean coming into our theatre #9. Regal has awesome special and unique screenings for music artists sometimes, and that's why me and my boyfriend got to come here!! Booking the tickets online were easy and the prices at a Regal are very affordable compared to other theatres. That's why the seating experience was even more amazing!! It was comfortable and there's a lap desk to have snacks on. The only unfortunate thing is there are these blue LED lights on the interior side of the chairs that illuminate even when the movie plays, so you can see all of them in the corner of your eyes so it can be distracting during the movie. Also please bring EARPLUGS!! The movie theatre was EXTREMELY loud and you can hear how loud the movies are when you walk through the hallway. I actually used the sound decimeter app on my watch and there were moments where it reached past 90-100! Average was at 80 which is damaging after just 30 minutes so please do prepare especially if you have sensitive ears. Nonetheless, for the pricing and the comfort of this specific Regal branch, I definitely would not mind coming back here!

I love to surprise them by not telling them adventures until we arrive. When our tickets didn't scan, I thought, hmmm, no biggie. Let's look for the email. Still an issue. "Step aside please". The counter gentleman didn't know what was happening, nor did he know the ticket was associated with a "cancelled" movie. Ok. Got it. My issue is with the "manager". She was in no way apologetic. Just said that there were "projector issues" and that we could receive our refund via Fandango. I stood there, amazed. No genuine care for the fact that our day date was ruined. I first told her that even though it's a 3rd party app, AMC should be responsible for the communication issue. After I repeatedly told her how upset I was, she asked me what I thought I deserved, or something to that effect. I don't know. I run restaurants. You run movie theatre's. I know what I would do for you if you were my guest. She reluctantly offered me passes. Thanks. Then I waited for someone to acknowledge me for return on a pre-ordered popcorn. Crickets. The manager came to refund the popcorn. She asked for the order number. "Just ONE popcorn"? Ya. One popcorn. It's a luxury to eat $11 popcorn and I choose to feed my kids healthy 99% of their meals. Do I need to explain that? No. Don't judge a guest for the 1 or 20 items they order. Just refund them. As I went to show it to her, she aggressively grabbed my phone out of my hand. Ummm, excuse me. I don't let strangers touch my personal property without approval. Rude. Someone should contact me from corporate. There needs to be better systems in place for canceled movies and mangers need to be trained in genuine hospitality.

Felt like a VIP movie night (with one tiny wrap flaw!)…read more Let me start with a quick parking tip because it's definitely in the fine print: there's "One Garage" literally right next door that offers complimentary 3-hour parking once you get validation from iPic, the only garage to get validated! Sounds amazing... until you show up and it's already full... which was what happened. Our movie started at 6:00 PM, we arrived around 5:20 PM, and the garage was completely closed off -- they weren't letting anyone else in. Luckily, we found parking about 3 minutes away and paid around $5, which honestly wasn't too bad. We came here for the second part of our Valentine's date night and watched Wuthering Heights because hello... Margot Robbie is my favorite girl. I haven't been here in over 15 years and WOW -- I forgot how absolutely beautiful this theater is inside. The lobby is spacious, classy, and honestly feels kind of luxurious. There are pool tables, a full bar area downstairs, and spaces where you can hang out with drinks and good company before your movie. We headed straight into our theater and ordered food from our seats (also... water is complimentary, love that). We were seated in our own little pod -- super intimate with two seats, cozy setup, and yes... a blanket. It truly felt like rich people movie night. Shoutout to our server Jake, who was outstanding from start to finish. Great service, super attentive, and made the experience even better. Food-wise: The Boss Burger ($20.5) was a solid 8.5/10 -- hubby really enjoyed it. Although, there were no pickles or tomatoes in there even though it was in their menu. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap ($17), and I'll be honest... it was the only downside of the night. It was a bit cold and tough, and the tortilla-to-filling ratio was a little off for me. I'd give it a 6/10. If the tortilla was a bit warmer I'd think it'll be able to hold onto the filling a bit better, but that was meh, for me. BUT the fries? Piping hot, crispy, and delicious. And Jake even brought us ranch, BBQ sauce, and extra ketchup without us having to ask twice. Overall, this was my husband's first time here, and it definitely won't be our last. We had such a great experience -- the ambience, service, and overall vibe were top-tier. Can't wait for our next cozy movie night here!

The seats were way too close together, and the person next to us had belongings spread into the shared space, making it very difficult to get in and out of our seats comfortably. Because of how uncomfortable the situation was, we decided to leave during the previews before the movie even started. We politely explained the issue to the manager and asked if we could either move to different seats -- even less expensive ones -- or receive some type of accommodation such as passes for another movie. Unfortunately, the manager refused to help in any way and would not issue a refund, exchange, or even offer courtesy tickets. For a theater that markets itself as a luxury experience and charges premium prices, I expected much better customer service. Other theaters like AMC are usually much more understanding and willing to work with customers when issues arise. Instead, we left feeling frustrated after paying for a movie we never got to watch. Sadly, this experience completely turned us off from coming back.

If you are looking for a premium theater though, then a different location like Santa Anita would be a better fit. Overall, I think the pros of this theater outweigh the cons. Pros: Comfortable, fully reclining seats with plenty of legroom. Screen and audio quality are pretty good. The theater is fairly clean and well-maintained. Seat reservations can be easily made online. Plenty of parking available in the shared plaza. Cons: Does not offer IMAX with Laser or Dolby Cinema. Only 10 screens, so selections are more limited.

I heard about the Tribeca Drive-In At The Rose Bowl last year during the first COVID-19 summer and was interested to go since I loved and attended many of the other non-drive-in outdoor cinema events. However, I felt it was still too early to be out in the wild while COVID was still raging on. Fast-forward to 2021, and Tribeca decided to return for a second season with COVID conditions slightly better than 2020 (the Delta variant continued to spread as of this review), so I gathered a few friends and excitedly checked this out for several nights to watch "Wayne's World" https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=E-DeGOiEzuvWmRAiDYrDvA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw and "Purple Rain" https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=bfHeeYNqgJM86JCXf7C50g&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Was this worth the wait to get us all out of our homes!? PURCHASE General Admission Per Vehicle ($30.00 x3 + $5.00 fee x3): Purchased online (I believed the price was the same at the door the day of the event but possibly higher a fee), this was open parking so first come-first served although it seemed there might've been VIP tickets that placed you closer to the screen. You were allowed to be outside your vehicle but must maintain very close proximity. And upon check-in, you were handed information for which radio channel to tune in to https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=XFUe-mQef7rVwtwlWBgFfA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw and how to order food through the DoorDash app https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=teK8iIeffho06nAUx5iFgw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Chicken Kabobs ($17.00): This was one massive skewer of thick pieces of nicely marinated juicy tender chicken along with an assortment of sliced green bell peppers, cucumbers, and onions served with a side of spicy dipping sauce. I surprisingly bought this pricey food item which thankfully didn't disappoint except for a lighter wallet. This definitely filled me up for the rest of the evening but probably wouldn't order it again https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=XSb87k8V1Jm2M9QFQ8nVDQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Seasoned Curly Fries w/Jalapeño Cheese Sauce ($8.00): A massive amount of curled spuds I swore the basket it came in was either bottomless or somehow never-ending! The cheese sauce had a nice spicy hotness to it but ran out of it halfway through my potato plantation which was fine since the fries tasted fine without it. With a nice crispiness in each bite until you reached the bottom where they were softer due to the moisture, not a bad meal at all; but this was a lot of fries to deal with for one person https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=jGpOSdzS3xcrVAHv1AhH1A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. SERVICE The online purchase was a breeze. Onsite directional signage to the main entrance was minimal at best (located at Lot F) https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=-eJcQuflOlHPYLrAfvkyGw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. But once you arrived, the ticketing and parking staff, respectively, were friendly and helpful. The same could be said about the concession employees (there was a bar tent I didn't try), and directions to the restrooms were sufficient https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=6I83ppaDR1LdOP1daVViTw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Both audio and visual systems were very clean and clear. I didn't recall any onsite ATM machines. Generally-speaking, everything was fine and ran smoothly but just needed more signage once you got off the freeway since there were so many lots on the expansive Rose Bowl grounds. PARKING (FREE) Plenty of parking on the makeshift drive-in Lot F - 'nuff said https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=HLvvHky_uciuzRD_iTTMvQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A large open-air asphalt parking lot https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Yh7TpFIOR6W5uI-U4hYAuw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw with a state-of-the-art movie screen. Exposed to the elements, you heard random sounds from conversations, dogs barking, and vehicle traffic, etc.. The aforementioned gigantic movie screen was your TV while your vehicle's radio provided the music and audio. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Tribeca Drive-In At The Rose Bowl was a nostalgic fun time and would consider it again. The concept was perfect for the new norm of social distancing. The films shown were a wide range from old, new, classic, art-house, and more. The onsite staff were very charming and helpful, while the food menu was somewhat limited. Thankfully, you were allowed to bring your own food. I found very food value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $130.00; no tip required). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 4.0 STARS

Fun experience during these unprecedented times. $35 per car. Well organized - ticketless scan…read morethe QR code. Very well staffed with friendly staff. They do a great job parking people and help adjust your car if you view is obstructed. Very Easy from ordering the ticket online to exiting the drive in. Mobile concessions selling drinks, candy, frozen treats and of course popcorn at reasonable prices. Couple of food trucks as well to choose from. Plus you can text and order the snacks on your phone too for delivery to your vehicle. You can also bring whatever food you want - there are plenty of trash cans too. Screen resolution is great - even on a Smokey Fire day at 4:30pm the LED jumbo screen is clear - only a few night dark scenes fade out a little during the daytime but not a big thing. Everything else looks fantastic on the large screen even during the daytime. Sound is through two stations on your car stereo or you can also stream through your phone if needed from their website. They even do movie previews for about 15mins. All the covid precautions are put in place and well managed. Vehicles are even staggered and given plenty of space to get out of your vehicle to stretch if needed. A few even parked backwards to sit in the back of their open suv areas. Security staff riding around on bicycles and also to answer any questions. You can't beat this activity for $35 with two or more people while the theaters are still closed. Plenty of restrooms as well that they are constantly cleaning. Way to go rose bowl for being one of the first to do this!
