First time at this movie theater. The staff is friendly. The theater seating is comfortable but small. Lots of great eateries neat by in the area.

The vintage Los Feliz 3 is quant and really cool! Small venue but very trendy! It's a perfect place for a date or to enjoy a show!

This quirky, little theatre brings so much nostalgic joy to my heart! Buying my tickets in person and lining up early for a film make for a great way to relive in person cinema again. The small theatre fits no more 6 people per row, but it's fittingly appropriate to watch artsy, indie films for a more personal viewing experience. The starry sky with the eclectic music preserve a dreamy sense of wonder while waiting for French Dispatch. Do come early around 30 minutes before the show to grab decent seats in the middle! The best part is sometimes people watching and guessing how big and late arrival groups will end up splitting over the small number of seats!

I went to the Los Feliz 3 today to attend the screening of Meet Me In The Bathroom. I arrived late for the screening partly because I could'nt find parking. There was no parking available in the lot behind the theater. When I tried parking at the lot behind the 13th Church of Christ, Scientist, I was rudely turned away by the parking lot attendant. The signage for the lot behind the church suggested there were available parking spaces for the public. I ended up parking a few blocks away from the theater for my visit. The movie theater is nice, but I don't like that parking isn't easy to come by.

This place is one of the few vintage theaters that are still in operation here in Los Angeles. Located between Hollywood & Los Feliz neighborhoods. It has three rooms of small screens (hence the name) where they rotate the films they project. They usually have premieres and special screenings of old movies/documentaries in room #1 (the one past the restrooms) on certain days of the week; which is the bigger one (green drapes and lights). Room #2 (blue drapes and starry ceiling) is before restrooms and it's the smallest & narrow one. The #3 room is on the left of concessions. It's the first room you'll see while entering the place (red room with clear white drapes covering tiny blue lights on the walls). This movie theater may be dated for some people, but for me that is what makes it unique and I love it for that. All the rooms' decor take you back to another era where movie theaters were compact, fancy and cute! I don't know, I just love this place. Plus, the service is great, and the ticket and concession prices are still pretty affordable compared to other big chain places. Street parking and there is a paid lot on the rear of the place. Just be sure to check street signs and the time before leaving your car. Nice area to explore if you're visiting for the first time.

Do they take AMC, Fandango or what movie gift cards do they take?

Not affiliated with AMC. It's an indie cinema so they would only take their own company gift cards. But it is also priced well below the chain cinemas and bargain matinees make it well worth the price.

I had to see Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" at this theater in Los Feliz. You could pay at the box office or order your tickets on the website. There is popcorn, candy, soft drinks and also adult beverages: beer and wine. After getting my popcorn I walked into the huge theater and it was amazing. Egyptian style architecture, a huge closed red curtain that hides the screen and the seats a comfortable with ample leg room. The same employee that scanned my online ticket came to the front of the movie screen and greeted us with a warm hello, introduced the film, told us proper movie etiquette (no filming or taking pictures of the movie and to please take your trash out with you when you leave the theater) and let us know there was 15 minutes of previews including a Bugs Bunny cartoon. So cool! Will definitely come back to watch more movies here!

The volume inside the IMAX auditorium was at an extremely dangerous level. It wasn't just "loud"... it was concert-level loud and physically uncomfortable. My Apple Watch actually warned me that continued exposure at that level could cause permanent hearing damage. That should never happen in a movie theater. At multiple points, we had to cover our ears just to sit through it. It was overwhelming and distracting instead of immersive. I went out to ask staff if the volume could be lowered and was told it was just for the trailers--but once the movie started, it stayed just as loud. That's not acceptable. There's a big difference between immersive and unsafe, and this crossed the line. Customers should not have to worry about hearing damage or other hearing problems at a movie theater. Management needs to address this and bring the volume down to a safe level. That said, the theater itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, the screen quality is great, and the movie was amazing. This would have been a perfect experience if the volume had been at a reasonable level.

When I order "fresh" popcorn, I expect it to be at least a bit warm but this popcorn was pretty cold. It's still decent, but buttery popcorn is just not as tasty when it's cold. We thought it was interesting and unusual that there was no one checking our tickets to let us into the theater. You could basically just walk into the theater without showing any proof of ticket. The staff seemed pretty attentive but then again I didn't order much. We were allowed into the theater about 5 minutes before the showing, but it makes sense that they probably have more to clean due to more plates, cups, etc. The bathrooms were okay, missing toilet seat covers and low on toilet paper, but they reeked of urine. My husband mentioned the men's restroom being very dirty. Also, I would've preferred it to be a bit cooler in the theater. They definitely had AC but with the summer heat, it would be nice to keep it a little cooler in the theater. The seats are definitely a bit worn out and some have been taped, but they are reclining and still decent. It was not as pictured in there online catalog or even what was shown at the ordering kiosks or menus. The popcorn was stale. The jalepeno flavor we got for us adults was gross and soggy there was only 3 slices of jalepeno inside. It's like they just dumped juice on top and threw in whatever they had in the kitchen. The nacho cheese sauce had chunks of tomato inside and plastic. Yeah, there was Plastic inside the sauce. The churros were hard so my kid couldn't eat them. The burgers were decent however they poured that same nacho cheese all over it and it took away the good flavors with that weird nacho medicine melted crayon taste. The fries were the part that we tried to get through because we were hungry. The sweet tea we ordered was not regular sweet tea it tastes like watered down grapefruit and jasmine flowers. It was chemical tasting. My daughter wanted mozzarella sticks and they came rock hard and cold. The food was awful for almost 200 dollars! The lobby was pretty when we came in I was like wow how awesome, but when we got into the auditorium the seats had food and napkins popcorn and trash on the seats and floor still. I was a manager for another well known theater so seeing this let me know the staff isn't doing their job at all. I kindly asked for staff to come wipe down our seats and trays to which she saw the mess and said oh geez okay yeah yeah let me come back and wipe it down. Our original seats had nacho cheese on the seat part and the arm rests so of course we're NOT sitting down. We were waiting for 15 minutes for them to come clean it. in we decide to move to another row since there is no one to else in the auditorium to watch the movie . When we moved, we saw that row also still had trash and sticky trays of spilled icee drinks from whoever previously sat there. She came in and started spraying the cleaning solutions on the trays with no warning and sprayed my husbands shorts which caused bleach spots now. She sprayed over the drinks which I hurried to grab my daughters but couldn't get my cup in time. That was very upsetting because why wouldn't you say something and let me move my food/drinks first?? Also hello?? Spray the rag away from guests faces ?? We already spent so much and traveled hours away to come here and see this and make it special for our daughter so we stayed through the movie entirely. When we were leaving there were roaches everywhere and a random centipede looking worm on the staircase. The trash cans were overfilled and the restrooms were so bad! We will never come back here again.

While my two fave ladies were spending time together, my son and I spent quality time together watching the movie The Odyssey at Regal La Canada. The Odyssey was a very entertaining movie that I highly recommend and watching this summer blockbuster at Regal La Canada made for good first time experience there. It's more of an old school movie theater with quality customer service and tasty food. When we entered the small strip mall with the movie theater was the main focal point, I was a little confused because the signage on the building was United Artists (UA) theater not Regal theaters. If you've lived in California awhile, then you should be familiar with the UA brand movie theaters, which is why I had a sense of nostalgia seeing the UA moniker. UA was purchased by Regal, so this movie theater is part of the Regal movie theater chain specifically located in La Cañada Flintridge. There are a few other shops located in this strip mall, but the one I remember is North Shore Burgers. There is plenty of parking at this location and the traffic flow is one way as you enter the strip mall. We watched The Odyssey during matinee hours, so it wasn't that crowded, but I got the feel that this wasn't a busy movie theater. The staff here provided quality customer service and were friendly. I had ordered tickets the day before, but mistakenly purchased tickets for the wrong day. I left a message to request a refund and when I tried to call a second time, a manager answered while I was leaving a message and she promptly refunded my money providing quality service like her staff. Regal UA La Canada gives off an old school vibe. The movie theater definitely needs some modernizing with regards to their leather recliner chairs and the layout of their seats, but I actually liked the old school vibe. When your order popcorn, the staff asks if you want butter and they're the ones placing butter into your popcorn. I prefer self service, but they did a good job buttering my popcorn. The popcorn was fresh when I initially ordered and when I requested a refill. My son ordered a pepperoni pizza and that too came out well made with the cheese melted and the crust crunchy. Their leather seats aren't the electronic recliners, but rather they're the pull out lever old school recliners. They worked fine and the leather seating was comfortable. Even the restrooms were old school, but they were clean. There were also some arcade games for the kids to occupy themselves while waiting or after watching a movie. While my two fave ladies spent quality time together, my son and I got to hang out and watched a Must See movie The Odyssey. We had a fun first time experience at Regal UA La Canada.

Tickets are bought online and range in price. Astro turf seating is $13 per person or $20 for two. No car parking is included (so you have to park outside the event) and you have to bring your own chair or rent one from them. Early Bird Car Entry + Driver is $28 ($20 for the car fee, $8 for the driver). Additional passengers are $8 per person. VIP is $75 and covers 1 car and 4 people for front row seating (just behind the astro turf area). Doors open either an hour or an hour & a half before showtime. When we scoped out the place, there was a sign that said exactly when the doors were going to be opened in the driveway. Since we had time (we were a wee bit too early), we went around the corner to get some grub. When we came back, we were second in line roughly a half hour before opening. Not too shabby and I definitely recommend showing up early to get a good spot (unless you're a VIP fancy pants). The line formed shortly after and wrapped around to Central. Pro tip - don't be a jerkasaurus and try to cut in line! The employees do notice anyone trying to pull a fast one and will make you go to the back of the line. Electric Dusk Drive-In is located off of Central Ave and California Ave in the old Sears parking lot. You cannot turn left into the parking lot on California! You have to enter from Central so that you turn right into the lot and don't block traffic. It was entertaining seeing so many people not grasp this simple idea. Once inside, the employees will scan your tickets and direct you where to park. If you want to back up and watch from your trunk, tell them and they'll help you out. If you're worried about your car battery dying out - bring your own radio or you can rent a transistor radio from them. If you listen via your car radio and it dies, they'll help jumpstart your car after the show. For restrooms, they provide two porta potties in the back side along with a hand washing station. If you're feeling munchy, they have a concession stand near the entrance but I'd encourage just getting your food beforehand from any eatery around the area (The Great White Hut is directly across the street). If you're thinking about trying Electric Dusk Drive-In, stop thinking and just do it already! They have a wide variety of movies to choose from (some are double-features) so you're covered no matter your taste of genre. It's such a fun nostalgic night and I can't wait to go back!

It reminds me of the freedom of youth--those days when we'd get together just to laugh, talk, and sometimes just sit, high on life and each other's company. Coming here alone gives me space to think, and maybe I'm pining for something that's already slipped away. There's a beauty in watching everyone gathered, all ages connected in the moment of a shared movie under the open sky. Couples sit close together, holding hands behind the truck beds, while kids are practically bouncing as their parents grab popcorn and candy, their joy so pure and unrestrained. This place is a gem, perfect for unwinding, reflecting, or even sharing a quiet evening with someone special. The staff here are warm and attentive, and the food choices are simple but affordable. With plenty of room between cars, you get enough privacy to feel like you're in your own world but not so alone that you can't feel the presence of others sharing the night. We had Theater 1 and the recliner seats were comfortable and even though we sat all the way on the sides, we had a very good view of the large screen and felt immersed. The popcorn was surprisingly cold upon eating and tasted alright, but overall nothing too unpleasant it was probably just not a fresh batch. I also love that there's also a bar here with movie-themed drinks so you have good options here!!! I wish there was more cardboard stands/photo ops for the movies because there was only one so something to note. I do know this theatre is on the smaller side so it makes sense. I hope both sides of the escalators also can be fixed because it didn't look too good walking in and needing to walk down the stairs because only one of the escalators was functional and moving up. So I just think maybe more maintenance and upgrade into those things could be a big help.

I didn't realize that there are multiple AMC theaters-three to be exact-in the Burbank Town Center…read moreregion until I recently stumbled upon this one. The entrance is only a few feet from the (free) garage, making it extremely convenient when you're rushing to make the previews. Service was prompt, friendly & efficient & this theater has the reclining seats that have spoiled me. Why go anywhere else?!
