Love this theater. Big auditoriums and a spacious lobby. The only problem is the addition of so many PLF screens might cut into other movies' runs at this theater, but that's not a problem with the theater itself. IMAX is good even though it's one of their LieMAX screens. ScreenX is a solid format. Needs a little work to be fully effective but it's fine. 4DX is okay. More like a glorified theme park ride for two hours with bouncing seats. I only went to see one 4DX movie here and that's all I need. If they install an RPX here I predict it will probably be in Theater 1 or 8. But I'm hoping that doesn't happen. I love these two auditoriums. Anyway, great theater! My go to. read more

6 years have passed since I've written a review for Temecula. Almost one and a half in a pandemic but glad we are able to get out and live again. We watched ShangChi on opening night. 9/2/21 Everything was as I remembered. Popcorn and drinks still cost an arm and a leg LOL! We bought a large popcorn to share ($10) and carried in our water. School nights are fun for us oldies cause we don't have to deal with a bunch a teenagers so if you're wanting peace and calm, come on a school night. We don't dare go on a fridays or Sat. Kind of going downhill compared to the surrounding theaters all upgrading to luxury theaters. Of course there's the convenience if you're already at the mall and decide to walk in and catch a movie. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded, tickets were a few dollars cheaper than their across the street competitor and now I can see why. I highly regret not spending the extra few dollars a ticket 100% to be honest. The theater was a MESS (this is an understatement) ... it had not been cleaned between movies, there was food and trash all over the ground, trash on my seat and empty drinks in the cup holders. The seats are on top of each other, you can barely breathe being so close to your neighbor, lifting the janky arm rest doesn't help, and the seats are horribly uncomfortable and annoyingly squeaky. Not to mention we had thousands of our points taken away because my husband wasn't aware they expired! Most likely won't be back until they can get it together. read more

I had a pleasant experience here. I experienced a 4D movie for the first time & it was enjoyable and unforgettable! There was a bit of shortage of staff and the concession stand lines were a bit long, however, it didn't take away from the experience. I haven't been to a movie theater in 20 years! Reason being is that movie theaters chairs were so uncomfortable, dirty, and not enough space for other people to pass by without always moving to let them pass to sit. Was always interrupted by cell phones going off, other people kicking my back seat, people talking too loud and making it difficult to concentrate watching a movie. NOW that's all changed! Amazing! this place is clean, plenty of leg space, enough room for people to pass by without blocking my view, nobody kicking the back of my chair, more great fresh tasting food to eat, and feels like being at home. Nowadays people are following the turn off cell phones rule. Love it! read more

We came to watch the new Frozen II movie last Friday, not our theater of choice, but because our usual movie theater was sold out. I figured this would be a nice theater, being in Temecula, but I'm now partial to reclining seats with dinner service and drinks available. We were a bit early and the concession stand had a short line. The food is now more expensive than the movie tickets. The good thing was that we were able to go and sit in our chosen seats right away. The theater slowly filled up as the previews started right after we sat down. This theater had traditional seats. For little children these seats aren't ideal because they don't weigh enough to hold them down :) At least my girls had some fun trying to keep them down. Since it was opening day at the end of the movie Anna and Elsa were waiting to take pictures. Since my girls were dressed up as Frozen characters it was a nice touch from the theater. read more

This was a pretty terrible theater experience. The overall ambiance is depressing. It's run down. No box office ticketing on a weekend night, concession took forever bc there was one cashier doing everything for each order walking back and forth all over the place to complete a simple item, the ticket scanner guy by the theaters didn't even scan the ticket and was telling patrons about a broken ac unit in one theater. The seats are old squeaky broken and uncomfortable. There were no trailers, considering how long concessions took this meant people walking in after the movie started. Then the ushers were just chitchatting wearing jeans not really professional at all. This place is on its last leg. read more

For starters the bar at the very front as soon as you walk in is very nice. However, after that for me was just like blah. The line for snacks was incredible, and you would think on a Saturday night(busy for theaters) they would put a couple extra people on. After that debacle we finally made it to our seats which by the way were not the luxury recline back that we all have basically been forced to sit in and now spoiled by(still charged that "convenience fee" though). The theater in it self looked like it was barely touched after the previous movie as you could see trash visually in most places. The sodas were all flat tasting not much there and the popcorn was old tasting as well. Non of us ate or drank more then half the things we got, and of course that was a waste of $70+. So no I can not really recommend this theater unless you want to pay "premium prices" for a subpar experience. My recommendation would be go else where because this place has fallen so far from its former glory. read more

The movie theater is nice and clean and most of the staff is courteous and helpful. $49.00 for two large popcorn and two large sodas is criminal. It's price gouging and unparalleled greed. They charge for upgraded seats which is a lie. The seats in theater 4 were nothing but the same old seats we've been getting for decades but they charge the same. the new lounge seats. A lie in advertising. Dirty toilets in the handicap stall. I used to love this theatre but it's been a huge disappointment. Overpriced concessions, Pepsi instead of Coke, fithy old seats and bathrooms. Stay home and watch in the comfort of your own home or fine an upgraded theater with truth in advertising. I have made this my normal go to theater to watch movies. However if you are looking for a true imax experience you need to go somewhere else (I go to Ontario mills). This has the same imax sound, but the screen is the same as any other theater. If you look up the dimensions of what an imax screen should be you'll see what I am talking about. I like the look of this theater and it is usually clean. Everyone is right in saying the wait time for snacks is long. I have never understood this logic. Everything I've ever read says theaters primarily make money from consession stands, yet people get turned off by the lines and don't buy anything...whatever, this must work for them. One thing I do hate is drying my hands in the restroom. The dryers are above or right next to the sinks, awkward to use and very awkward when other people want to wash their hands but you have to stay to dry your hands. In summary it's a good theater with nothing to rave about and it has aged gracefully. Side not if you go often download the regal app to get points to get free drinks or popcorn. read more

We love Regal Cinema, the movies offered are entertaining and the admission prices are very competitive. The popcorn, sodas and candy are always a must at the movies. Our grandkids love going with us, too. The restrooms are located nearby the theaters. We love how well kept and clean the theater are. Forget buying snacks, even if you get there early. We waited in line for 30 minutes and the line did not move! Employees move slower than a snail's pace! First we try to use the kiosk to purchase our tickets. We have a regal rewards card. There was no place to enter your card number. We ask for help. The first guy has no clue. Then he tells us a manager is coming over. That never happens. We see another employee and ask for help, he walks over and tells us he is not even on the clock, then he tells us to go stand in line at the refreshments counter and they will take our phone number to get credit. So we walk over and stand in line when they have 4 computers that would not allow us to enter our phone number. We leave for lunch and come back for popcorn and to see the movie. I stand inline and the young man tells us it is a cash only line when we get up to him. I comment, "where does it say that", he doesn't say sorry, just rudely repeats go to that line. Training,!! Based on today's brief encounter I am reducing my rating from 4 to 3 stars. I'm a bit frustrated as I took time out of my day to swing by the box office to by tickets to the new Star Wars: Last Jedi movie. I was attempting to purchase 4 standard tickets for Weds, 20 Dec...but they couldn't sell them as the schedule for this Wednesday (1.5 days from now) hasn't been determined yet - for a new block buster movie? Doesn't make sense?? Adding to the head scratcher, I also really want to see Darkest Hour. Its stand-up poster is located just inside to the right of where they take your tickets. I asked the gentleman taking tickets when this movie will be showing and he didn't know. No worries, I asked to speak with the customer service person regarding the issues with both movies. The customer service lady I spoke with was nice, but she couldn't help me in either case. She wasn't quite sure why the schedule for Last Jedi wasn't done yet ("you can come back tomorrow or Weds"), nor did she know if Darkest Hour will even be shown at this location?? I don't understand why there would be a Darkest Hour poster prominently displayed at front of the lobby if the show will not even be shown here?? Advertising is good...frustrating customers is not. I am a movie goer and have been for many years...I don't quite get this? I get that things happen, but something like this seems nonsensical. A schedule for a block buster should be established at this point. The Darkest Hour would do fantastic in this demographic, so this should be a slam dunk. Looks like a dumpster inside! Amenities station has trash and popcorn all over the floor. I'm not sure if this place runs with a manager on the clock because it did not seem like it that night. I saw trash and popcorn on the floor even inside the screen room. From what I've seen at other movie theaters they are supposed to clean sweep, wipe, etc. After each and every movie that plays. I have been to a $5 dollar movie theater that's way cleaner than this place, and that's pretty sad for having to pay $15 for a ticket here. I'm not complaining about the IMAX price but as big as REGAL EDWARDS is as a company that's an issue needs to be fixed. The cashier kept jumping from one station to another and helping out other people rather than focusing on clearing his line first. Two ladies that was behind us even came and talked to that cashier about worrying about his line but he just left right after they exchanged words. I'd rather drive 40min out to watch a movie at Cinema City in Anaheim Hills than come back here. This place seems to be running without management or even if there is one, it's managed very poorly and disorganized. At least I know Cinema City actually cleans their rooms after each and every movie for less the price you pay here. They also have DOLBY atmos which is equivalent to their IMAX. read more

The movie was scheduled to start at 12:20 today. They started the theater previews and welcome at 12:20. The movie advertisements didn't start until 12:30 and the movie itself didn't start until 12:45. Too many advertisements and not running on time. It'll be a long time before going back to this theater. read more

Once again, Edwards delivers nothing less than a trash experience. I refuse to come to this theater because it's the same thing every time: rude employees and a dirty theater (and a little outdated if you ask me, but that's besides the point). Only reason why I came back was because they had better ticket options than other places around town. Anyways, definitely my mistake because firstly when we went to pay for our snacks and whatnot we were asked if we wanted to round up our change to donate to some charity. I clearly said "No thank you", and the employee did it anyways (I checked my bank account to confirm this as well). Granted it was a couple of cents but it's annoying that this kid did so regardless when I said no thanks. Once we went to get our seats we immediately saw that the floor was COVERED in spilled popcorn and trash. We noticed that the neighboring row had popcorn and crud all over the floor too. Clean, much? Anyways, went to see if an employee could help us clean up the mess and that was a whole adventure within itself. The employee I asked for help to see if anyone can help us clean the popcorn literally didn't respond, like a deer caught in headlights. It was so weird! And it was uncomfortable that we had to watch/wait for the employee to clean the popcorn mess because we couldn't help him and even when we thanked him he didn't respond. Anytime I want to take the family out to watch a movie, this is the place we come to. It's really big and well maintained. One can get tickets for a show and while they wait they can walk around the mall or the shopping district. There is a parking garage right next door which on the weekends can get really packed. The garage has an elevator so it really doesn't matter if one were to park at the top levels. This theater itself can also get pretty busy on the weekends to the point were there is a chance they'll sell out on a movie. The price range is pretty high but I get to use my military discount which is somewhat considerate. Now just like any other theater, the snacks and drinks are way overpriced. You might even end up spending more money on food than the tickets themselves. The staff at this location are really nice and there is an armed guard inside which is awesome. Great movie theater to come and check out new releases. read more

Three star sums up this seemingly aging theater. I don't mind the slightly extra drive to the theaters in the neighboring cities for a more quality experience. The prices are nothing to write home about, the seating is aged, it's nothing spectacular. With the UHD TVs of this day and age, movies fall in to one or two categories for me. A movie I MUST SEE right away that I have been waiting for or is ground breaking, and Redbox. If it's a movie I must see I don't mind a slightly further drive for a higher quality experience.
