There are lots of places to grab a bite or drink -- coffee, smoothies, yogurt, mexican food, argentine food, subs, sushi and pizza (you can actually watch the show while eating pizza on their patio). They show feature movies on the weekend and during the week old tv shows, cartoons, and seasonal stuff. It runs from sundown until around 10 or 11pm every day of the year. It can be a little hard to find, but if you can locate LA Fitness or Old Spaghetti Factory, you're getting warmer. It's nestled between Pizza Nova and Ryan Bros Coffee. Lots of free parking. They've also hosted the annual San Marcos Student Film Festival 2 years running, which is usually in June, and again free to the public. The only reason for the lack of 5 stars is that it is COLD in the winter, and WET when its rainy ...not that there's a real solution to that, other than a blanket and an umbrella.... Expect kids running around, outdoor noise from cars and conversation, but its all part of the fun. Did I mention its all FREE?

Though not "pristine" movie viewing conditions, it's free and its outdoors and did I mention it's Free?. A rad way to spend a few hours some Saturday night taking in a flick. Bring your own blanket (and chair if you've got one, seating can be limited) and re-live the golden age of drive ins, that you probably weren't alive for in the first place.

But it appears tough times have hit this theater or perhaps whoever used to make the food has moved on. Idk if you can tell from the pics, but the food quality has gone down. When I placed my order -in person and not over the app, not over the site- I asked about the nachos specifically: "are they dry?Or is there plenty of cheese?" 'Cus last visit, they were stingy with the cheese and toppings-the complete opposite of what I first experienced when I found this place. The cashier sounded unsure so I asked if I could order extra cheese. He assured, asking if I meant shredded cheese or nacho cheese. I said nacho cheese. I noticed the price didn't go up, so I thought perhaps he entered it in the notes or something. Well when I got my order, I noticed the chips were layered like cookies in a tray. I took it, maybe his notes worked and they wanted to give each chip extra love and attention. Nah. Bruh, I ended up with even less of everything than I expected. Even less than last time. All the cheese and sour cream you see there in the pics, that's solely on the tips. Also had the vegan burger. As you can see, the bread is drastically different from before. It's incredibly thick (not in a good way) from from bottom to top, but very narrow as far as being proportional to the patty. It didn't work well at all and it all fell apart for me. Beautiful reclining seats and attached tables for each person to enjoy a great movie. Purchased tickets online the day prior. Intended for mature audiences not recommended for children. The festival included two days of independent films. We attended on Saturday which had several showtimes 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7:30pm. Each time slot had a different set of short 10-15 minute films ranging from 6-8 films per time slot. All the films deserved to be seen in this venue. The films included a good range of playful to deeply intense, diversified acting and dialogue to evoke the artistic connections they were trying to convey. The festival showcased works containing stop motion and live action from The Media Lab, a local film school for adults with disabilities. Local businesses and sponsors contributed to the makings of these films. A great festival to support in Temecula.

This was my first visit to this theater in 13 years, I grew up going to this theater. Bittersweet but happy to see it somewhat modernized since my last visit. I went to this theater because the closest AMC showing this film was Fashion Valley. All was well until after the movie. The lights came on and a post movie bonus played. Everyone but me and nice older gentleman got up to leave. A young cinema worker walked in, came up to me and accused me of FaceTiming and talking to someone on the phone during the whole movie. I was gooped and gagged because from the time the previews start until the theater lights come on my phone is OFF and in my purse. She said a couple had complained to her and been issued a refund because of this...I was so shocked and told this worker, who I'm assuming was a supervisor due to her slightly different regal outfit (ill fitting grayish polo), that I did no such thing. This worker continued to accuse me. I left the theater feeling super weird at this entire situation especially her behavior. This was a truly bizarre end to a mediocre theater going experience. Will not be coming back. AMC forever.

I salute the creators for such innovation, imagination, thoughtfulness, and creativity. With so much tech fueling the place, I totally understood that there was bound to be a glitch here and there. But the staff was on it and got things back up and running quickly. They even made good and credited us above and beyond what we lost during down time. It was the perfect time to refuel anyway. They served us pretzel dogs, the giant pretzel, fries, wings, pizza, fried mozz... and at gastropub levels. Overall, we left impressed and curious for more.

The volunteers were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took the time to answer questions and share interesting facts, which made the visit even more enjoyable.
