Use to love this place being a local, I live one block away. Came in for a drink and some pool. $2 a game for pool??!! Cmon man.. cut it out.. to the owner.. youre taking money out of the bartenders hands with the prices of the table. I know you still aren't making payments on it! Smh! All that did was make us want to leave. Not to mention how uncomfortably hot it was inside. Autumn was great. She brought out a dan for us. But we left anyway. You lost us with the table price. Keep in mind that I goto dive bars mainly for pool. Came by here with a friend on an early Saturday night and it was pretty empty. Bartender was super friendly, beer and liquor were reasonably priced. Pool table cost $1.50 which is absolutely insane. Very dark within the bar, but it appears to be very clean. Bathroom is also clean but theres only 1 toilet for the whole place and it's a super small room, even for a bathroom. No food served but they do allow outside food to be brought in. read more

This place is a really cool bar. It's an older looking bar but it also has older prices. The bartenders are very nice and pour the perfect drinks. I also came for a live band which I was surprised that played. The band played heavy rock and boy after covid was I very glad to see a live band play. I couldn't hear anything else but that's ok. Sadly it's so far from me but I would gladly come back here again. read more

Went in on Wednesday night. Think the bartenders name was Lacey? Blonde hair. So I went in and sat down and waited almost 5 minutes for a drink because she was on the other side of the bar sitting on the cooler talking and playing with her cat. . Finally got a drink. About 10 minutes later I decided to get a shot. Asked her for one and she completely forgot about it. Didn't even spring up in her mind 5 or 10 minutes later... just completely empty-headed. I've been to this bar about 5 times before and never had this problem. Just no excuse for this at all. Visitors beware. read more

It fuckin sucks when you play in a new place, the crowd is awesome, the stage is awesome, everyone is awesome and then at the end of the night they tell you they aren't paying you... FUCK you regal inn... I'm going to try my hardest to have as many as my musician friends and their friends not play or even buy a single drink from your place. Your employees were good to us but having them tell us you won't pay us at the end of the night is pretty fucked up... From what I hear, this is not a rare thing. I hope you all reconsider making any business with that place before booking or even going to hang out. FUCK the owner of that place!!! Better yet, we would appreciate letting them know how fucked up that place is and let them know we do this for a living and not for exposure. This place stiffs their entertainment. Shameful that they rely on bands to help them sling drinks and then refuse to do the honorable thing by compensating the hard working musicians. Musicianship is a skilled trade and deserves compensation like any other. You think these guys would hire a plumber to fix a clog or link than then tell them "thanks, but we're not gonna pay you?" The Regal Beagle is dark and usually loud with music and conversation. On my last visit, Nicole, was quick to serve us with a smile and great attitude. This was 4th of July when nobody wants to work, she genuinely seemed happy to be there. My only complaint is that they aren't open earlier. read more

This place sucks. Crappy dive bar in back of a shady looking donut shop. No thanks never again! The only good things about this bar are the pool tables(cost $1 to play), stiff cheap drink w/no smile served, the juke box, and you can play hot spot/keno here. That is all. This place has potential to be more than what it is, but probably never will be if it isn't already. It's a shame, because it's in a great location AND it's very close to home, like walking distance close. Sucks to be you, peace I'm out. read more

I give it 2 stars just because it's close to my girlfriend's house, and I've heard they have pretty decent bands from friends. The place is a dump. They have a pretty good draft selection. But doubt the lines have been changed in years. I'm leery about about drinking their tap beer. We are drinking our leery drafts, look down and there is old pizza on the floor. Nice. And it sucks it's cash only. Come on, I can take credit cards on my phone. IDK. It could use a lot of TLC. It's close to the house! read more

Stopped in for a quickie beer with my chick on a Sunday afternoon and to my surprise - they place had been renovated! sort of. They are still cash only so that sucks. But at least they had more than just BUDWEISER on tap! Bartender was Mandy i think - she was really nice and told us to come back for football. Another plus was that they have SPORTSNETLA for us Dodger fans! We will def be back to do some time-traveling! read more

I stopped by on a Wednesday at around 7 pm for the first time to kill some time while I was waiting for a friend at the golf course across the street. After reading the existing yelp reviews, I was very hesitant to even step foot in the place. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It's a pretty standard dive bar. I ordered a bud light from on tap and it was $3. I didn't order anything else, but if the price of beer is any indication then the well drinks are probably very cheap too. Like another reviewer said, they only have two beers on tap which is rather unfortunate. While I was there a few people at the bar wanted to watch the angels game and the bartender was very willing to put it on for them. I pulled out my iPod touch and discovered that they offer free wi-fi internet access! There are two pool tables, darts, a digital jukebox, some sort of arcade machine, and two of those video gambling/quiz type games at the end of the bar. I didn't have any problems with the customers. There were probably a dozen people in theree. I heard some guy talking about how he went sky diving which was rather entertaining. Overall the place wasn't bad and I would return again if I'm in the area. read more

Love the local dive! The jukebox is great! The bartenders are greater. It's a hole in the wall with nothing fancy but don't expect that make your own fun play pool and be nice! If you can't handle it and you can't have fun then just don't come. Five stars for just a good time out! read more

This dive bar really close to my place, but I would never go just for a drink. My friends' band was playing: Blank Expressions and we went because it was free, too! Full bar and beer on tap. Small stage, open pit area, pool table, TVs for sport games, and plenty of bar tables and chairs. Restrooms were surprisingly clean and modern. Not sure about parking on the McDonald's side, maybe after they close. read more

Place is filthy.It just stinks.Two beers on tap,Bud and Bud Light.Nothing against Bud,I like Bud,I just can't imagine putting my mouth on those dirty schooners more than two times.Why the three stars?There was a classic rock cover band there on a Saturday night.They weren't good,but they weren't bad.It was the crowd that they attracted.Mesmerizing.Clean it up it's four stars(with the band).Go for the band,but have a mixed drink and use a straw. read more

This is a review for the bar, not a hotel. A friend's band plays most Thursdays so I've been once. It's a roomy place. Oddly laid out. They have a couple pool tables and a small stage for the band. They have a patio for smoking. The drinks aren't too bad and not too expensive, I didn't think. A bit of a dive, for sure, but that can be a good thing, too. read more

Bartenders are fun and friendly! I seem to end up at the regal during Denise and lizzys shifts. They both are awesome. Fun and friendly! make you feel welcomed and always attentive! Bar stools are comfortable which makes it easy to stay awhile. Music on the juke box is always good.. karaoke is fun and entertaining. The atmosphere is fun and inviting very cool and casual. A very well but gently lit space that still feels cozy and spacious. The outside gives no indication of how well the inside has been designed. Great for lunch or dinner dates. Noise level was low and there's no feeling of a chaotic restaurant environment. Food/Service 1-5: 4.8 I order the shrimp and lobsters fettuccine, bone marrow as an appetizer. My company ordered the lamb burger. All dishes we beautifully plated; true works of art. Neither of us had any complaints about presentation and creativity. As far as taste and as excited as we were to dig in to our food, the ONLY setback was the lack of seasoning mainly salt. I'm aware that a Chef does their best to meet the expectations of their guest. I'm also aware that meeting everyone's expectations is impossible. To confirm my advice of needing some salt in the food I patrons the restaurant twice, two days in a row. The food needs more salt and I stand solid on that opinion. The service was great and I thanked Mel for taking such great care of us. Mel is a rockstar! Diversity score 1-5: 4 The restaurant definitely appeals to diverse crowds. It reminded of the days I frequented Marcus Samuelsson's Red Rooster in Harlem, NY. Go again score 1-5: 5, Absolutely. I do hope I don't have to keep bothering the server for salt and pepper.

At that point, the employee asked the cook who informed them that butter was used. My son had been dealing with health issues the last two days due to his severe allergy. He is having difficulty breathing, in addition to all the other symptoms that come from dairy allergy. It's very sad to see him in pain knowing the restaurant did not take his allergy seriously and misinformed him. To the owners and staff members please take food allergies seriously. I inner stand people make mistakes. I hope that my son's pain will cause the restaurant to change its policy to take food allergies seriously and that the next person won't suffer.
