Dawn Pepe is the best bartender ever! We followed her from her other bar to this one and she is just the sweetest!

We came here to see some death metal bands. I love dive bars because they have character and they're usually cheap on the drinks. There was plenty of room for parking outside and the sound quality of the bands was perfect.

We just wanted to pop in for a drink and a light snack to kill time while awaiting for an appointment. The restaurant/bar location is quite nice and easy to find. It's in a massive strip mall off of Bellflower Blvd with loads of parking. The place itself isn't that big but a decent amount of seating. There's a decent size patio that looks out to the walkway and parking lot in the front. Inside, you have the bar area to the left and the restaurant on the opposite side. Main dining area is right across from bar as well as another dining area. We sat at the bar which Jen was working that afternoon and took very good care of us. Very friendly and welcoming which is alway an amazing start to anything. She was the only one behind the bar so juggling everything for everyone and still with a smile and positive attitude. We didn't want anything major so started off with a beer and a snack to share. Later found out that they also offer happy hours with food specials as well. Anyways, the menu is limited to a certain extended. We went with the loaded tots. Let me just say, it was loaded and massive. It was perfect for sharing and then some. A major pile of tots with melted cheese, green onions, loads of chunks of bacon and drizzled with ranch dressing. And another side of dressing on the side. Thats like was meal in itself. Quite tasty to say and the chef behind the grill was very sweet as well. Bar area has seats that look out to the bar as well as the kitchen grill. A few seats offers that. It was a sweet little chat with the chef whom mentioned happy hour. The last time I was here we did order a good amount of snacks for sharing which was great. From this experience as well as the last, it was great. The staff were all amazing and friendly. Food was great. Somewhat of a bar snack from what we ordered but a few main entrees that were coming out did look quite tasty. Plus portions were pretty massive. And Jen, a sweetheart and doll. Very friendly and great a person.

The location is a little hidden and was somewhat difficult to find at first, but once inside, everything was well organized and easy to navigate. The staff did an excellent job throughout the event--friendly, attentive, and impressively fast despite the crowd. I also appreciated that they limited the number of guests, which kept the atmosphere lively without feeling overcrowded. It was nice that this wasn't strictly an adults-only environment, as we were able to bring our child along and still enjoy the experience. The food was good, the service was great, and the overall setup made for an enjoyable afternoon of soccer. We'll definitely be back during football season to catch a few games.

So many avid soccer supporters, and the servers were great, but showing the games seemed like a reluctant obligation. Pre-game and post-game analysis from Thierry Henry & Zlatan took a back-seat seat to a country music playlist Immediately upon halftime and after the games it seemed like a race to restart the playlist so nobody could enjoy the halftime show, interviews from players and coaches and more pre-game/post-game shows. Right after the final whistle of the MX game, all but 1 TV was replaced with a softball game and re-airing of the Nathan's hot dog eating contest. Like myself, many patrons were unhappy and said they'd go elsewhere to watch the rest of the tournament.

We had a reservation for six and the hostess greeted us and sat us right away. Our server, Nate, was fantastic. He knew the menu and answered all of our questions. He even explained how some of the drinks were made. Later we found out he was actually one of the bartenders helping out as a server for the night. Which made sense considering how well he knew how the drinks were made. He was attentive and checked on us often to make sure everything was going well. One thing that made him stand out was, he actually conversed with us rather than just asking if we needed anything and then leaving. The Old Fashioned was one of the smoothest and best I've probably ever had. My nephew ordered the Ube Painkiller after Nate described how it was made. I had a sip, and the ube flavor really came through without overpowering the drink and it was perfectly matched with the dark rum, which Nate said came from the Caribbean. The Brussels sprouts had a nice mix of tender and crispy pieces that gave additional texture. The calamari was tender and the pesto style sauce paired real good with it. The Thai curry sea bass was flavorful, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. The cioppino had a rich shellfish flavor in the broth and I appreciated that the tomato base didn't have such an acidic taste. We also shared the tomahawk, which was juicy, cooked perfectly, and had a sprinkle of coarse salt that really brought out the flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent, but Nate's service really made our night special, making us feel right at home.
