Since all theatres are going to have the same expensive snacks and expensive tickets (honestly nothing else starts me on a "back when we were young" tirade than ticket prices) so comparing theatres, this one is my least preferred. Dirty bathrooms, carpeting that probably smells like the 80's if you made the mistake of getting that close to it. Worst of all, I hate that this theatre has flat seating, as in not stadium seating, and they don't move, so not very comfortable. Went to watch The Witch's opening night and as a first showing, they had used a smaller theater. First time here, but I'm not sure if all their rooms are that small. ours was theater #3. There is no incline to the seating. So for someone who is short, and a tall guy with a somewhat of an afro sits 2 rows in front of you and still can't see the screen is pretty bad. I'm 5'2'' and even sitting up straight was hard for me to see the screen entirely. Definitely didn't help when people sat a row ahead of me. I had to lean to the side to see anything. Adult booster seats? Is that a thing? Cus this theater needs it. read more

This theater is nothing to Yelp Home about other than it shares a Washington storyline with me. I moved up to WA in '98 and during that year, one of my first adventures was to explore the Pennisula (Olympic, that is). So, while driving into Seattle, I wanted to see the new movie Mask of Zorro, so off to the Meridian I went (not sure how I found it here in those pre-iPhone & pre-Yelp days). It was a cool place. I was fresh from the boonies of the Tri-Cities and this city fulfilled my city needs. Fastforward to '10:::: My sister and I had to kill some time before our reservation at the SAM for Picasso. We both wanted to see "127 Hours", so we walked up to the Meridian for a matinee. Everything was average until we entered our Theater #7 (3rd floor, I believe). We opened the door and heard some LOUD hip hop music. My head automatically started bobbing (it's in my genes), but we came to find a group of kids filming a rap video in the back row. Wait. What? Wow. Really? I'm a fan of some good hip hop, but c'mon people. A thing about me, my biggest pet peeve: noisy people in theaters (that in people who text in a movie theater). Sorry, it just makes me livid as all get up. Granted these kids were somewhat polite and ensured us they'd be done soon, but really? Oh one more thing: Theater #7's screen has two rips in it (nittpicky, sorry). For the record, "127 Hours" was pretty darn intense and awesome. read more

If I ever watch a movie downtown I'm either at this theater or at Pacific Place. I've never had any issues here. Always has been clean and the staff have been relatively friendly. It is tall rather than wide. You have to go up a lot of steps before you get to your particular theater. The concession stands are all high tech with animations. My only complaint is the bathroom is on its own floor between levels with screens. Fail on the architects part. What is up with that floor plan, holmes? read more

For some reason, Regal Meridian is scoring all the hot movies that I want to see, which forces me to come here much more than I would like. I agree with almost every other two-star review. It's dingy- I have the sneaky suspicion the entire place is covered in a layer of grime. They have the least accessible bathrooms in the entire city. (Fine, I'm exaggerating). Seriously though- you have to navigate some weird stair design and I can never really figure out where I am, or if I took the most direct route to get there. Really poor layout. No paper towels in the bathrooms. I MUCH prefer Pacific Place. read more

Wow, people don't seem to be a fan of this place! I was given a few free movie tickets to Regal as a gift and this one is pretty close to my place so I decided to use them at this location. There are a ton of different places where you can grab a bite to eat before or after your movie too. I have to admit the prices are a little high - I think a 3D movie is more expensive here than at the IMAX theatre at Pacific Science Center!! The bathroom situations is a little odd - on the "half floors" between the floors but I guess it is a good use of space. The bathrooms could be a bit cleaner but really it isn't unexpected for a movie theatre. The people who work here have been super friendly. One day I stopped in on a whim and the movie I wanted to see didn't start for about 40 min. I (as usual) had a book in my purse so I decided to just sit at one of the tables and read waiting for the theatre to open for my movie. About 15 min after I sat down a worker came all the way over to let me know the theatre was cleaned and opened. I thought that was a super nice thing to do! Not the best place in the world but I apparently like it more than most. To me it is a pretty typical movie theatre. read more

I went to see "127 Hours" here, and I had a pretty good experience. I saw an intense flick with better than average camera work in a pretty quiet, empty theater mid-week. I can't complain, and I'm glad they show movies like this. Granted it's not an Indy film or a foreign film, but, it's not a blockbuster like Harry Potter either... Well crap, more like 2 1/2 stars. It's so small. I admit that I'm spolied by the grandiose splendor that is Thornton, but this theatre has ALWAYS felt cramped. The staff is way too young to give a shit about having a job. And there's no management to instill any work ethic. The theatres are poorly constructed and just about everywhere you sit is a bad seat. Too flat, not enough incline, and a weird-ass raised row of seats right in the middle. Just odd. The only thing to make this place any cool would be if it was haunted. read more

it's aging..aging for sure. I think this place needs a complete overhaul. The seats are not comfortable, and the screens seem extremely small. There are better theaters in the area for the same price. Included in the overhaul should be some bathrooms on every floor. What's the deal with walking to miles to go pee? To put my review in perspective, you need to know I have been to Regal-brand cinemas many times since 2012, and this particular theater often, since it's nearby my home. I have also owned the same backpack-style-purse for nearly five years, and I carry it everywhere. I gave myself a "me" day today, since most of my friends are gearing up for summer conferences and/or Burning Man, leaving me at loose ends. So I decided to take in book shopping, dinner, and a movie. I hit a snag with the movie when they demanded to search my bag, the bag I have been bringing into this theater for all five years I have owned it. I was told this had been their policy since 2012. So, by all means, let me know if this is common practice to anyone else, because I have literally never been asked to do so. When I asked about the bag search policy, the twenty-if-he-was-a-day manager told me it was because my bag had two straps, making it a backpack by company policy. Bags with one strap were considered purses and were fine. This means oversized totes, laptop bags, men's purses/carryalls, and other large bags it would be easy to sneak in weaponry and/or enough food to feed a small platoon would receive a pass, while my bag--smaller than many women's purses--needed a thorough searching. The same bag that has never been searched in FIVE YEARS. Also, for those of us with back issues who have to wear backpack-style bags that evenly distribute weight or risk back pain are rather on the losing end of said policy. This is very much a policy rooted in ableism as well as poor logic. And if you are wondering, like me, why I was singled out for a search today, I have an inkling why. I was dressed in laundry day sheik, that is, a black t-shirt with a sarcastic saying and a pair of those torn, ragged skinny jeans that were all the rage a while back. I also arrived alone to watch a "children's" movie (though I would argue that Despicable Me 3 is an everyone movie). Basically, I looked poor, and apparently enjoying well done computer animation at my age counts as "acting oddly." I went to the theater because of many of their great new upgrades, including the more comfortable recliners and assigned seating. I will not be going back if I can help it, and if I am dragged there by friends I will not be supporting this business by buying snacks at their establishment. No shade on the people who were just doing their jobs, the people behind the ticket counter were quite friendly. But I am furious at the management and the lopsided implementation of their "policy." Apparently the remodeling also remodeled some of their rules, so just be aware, leave all your personal products at home so a stranger won't paw through them, and don't stow a water bottle in your purse as it's no outside food or drinks, and they're now determined to make sure you stick to those rules. No matter what. And above all, dress nicely. read more

Oy. I loves me some movies, and I used to go out a ton before someone (I'm looking at you 4-year old) wrecked my ability to have my own schedule. I remember the glory days of the late 90s, riding high on paper wealth from my dot-com stock options, gaping in awe at the mega-plex that just opened in downtown Seattle. Seeing the Matrix and thinking, "whoah, Keanu Reeves is cool, I should get me a floor-length black trench coat". But those days have long since evaporated, much like my illusory wealth from my dot-bomb stock options. Now it's 2011, and there are several newer, better theaters to choose from and Meridian 16 just hasn't kept up. Frankly, from the looks of the bathrooms, they're hardly bothering even with the basic maintenance. Meridian isn't as run down as, say, some theater from the mid-50s - but that's not saying much. The seating doesn't have enough angle to always see the screen when the theater is crowded, the bathrooms are gross (as I said) and run down, and annoyingly on a different floor (always sprinting to/from so as not to miss anything crucial - damn you hamster bladder!). The sound and picture are fine - but nothing compared to the nicer theaters (esp. the revamped Cinerama). If a movie's playing here you want to see and there are no other good options, it's fine, but color me increasingly underwhelmed. I'll take my money elsewhere, especially at today's theater prices. read more

There is nothing amazing about this place but if you want to see a movie then this place will be just fine. Its downtown so expect to run into some creepers... This is a pretty bunk theater. Small seats, no grade in the floor so you had better be tall (like me) if you want to see the whole screen, and only an ok sound experience. There are a lot of movie theaters in this city and the AMC is just down the road and pretty much slams this place in every way. I can think of one edge they have on the AMC, and that's not sharing Pacific Place parking. The neighboring ramp also has motorcycle parking for $6. Neat deal if you're also planning on spending some time downtown. read more

I'm still loving the recent upgrades to this theater. But when I came in to see the new Jurassic World movie this week, I was pretty disappointed with the food service. Apparently those delicious pretzel bites I loved back in 2017 are no longer offered. They've been swapped out for these pretty delicious looking, brewer-style pretzel sticks with a side of white cheese sauce and mustard. At least they looked delicious in the photo on their menu sign. When I sat down with them, I realized the pretzels were all ice cold in the middle. I mean almost still frozen. Additionally the white cheese sauce they're serving with these tastes awful. It's hard to describe why it tasted so bad... the best way I can think to describe the taste was a combo between Miracle Whip and cheese sauce. It had a strange, sweeter, fake taste to it. So, I had to leave the theater to ask for just regular nacho cheese. I didn't make a huge stink about the pretzels being cold because our movie was about to start. But I brought the old cheese back and asked for a replacement. I was ALMOST turned away by a staff member who was going to charge me for replacement cheese. Ummm? What? Thankfully he checked in the back and the manager gave him the go-ahead to replace my cheese with regular nacho cheese sauce. I know it seems silly to make a big stink about concession stand food. But at the prices they charge for food, I don't think it's too much to ask that it be warmed through and served with sides or sauces that taste good. Especially since it seems they're trying to elevate their movie food options... So they're down 1-star for me until they figure out their new food items and how to properly prepare them. I wanted to close out my review on a positive note, though. While some people may be annoyed with this location's heightened safety checks or measures, I REALLY appreciate them. Staff checks your bag before you enter the theater. And while some argue they're just looking for food, I will tell you right now they are not. I've brought in food and drink that they've seen in my bag. But I feel much better knowing they're checking for dangerous items and weapons in bags before entry into the theater. Downtown can be a dangerous place. I've seen drugged out crazy people pulling weapons on complete strangers in broad daylight.. I've even seen them strike strangers from behind unprovoked. So, yea... I'm A-OK with bag checks and no mask rules. read more

I don't like giving low reviews but I have came here a few times and it always sucks. From Sherlock Holmes to Alvin and the Chipmunks and a few other movies, I'm always wishing they are showing the movies that are here, somewhere else. First off they don't have stadium seating!!! What kind of movie theater doesn't have stadium seating? Every time someone taller than me sets in front of me I can't see! The place isn't very clean and some of the cup holders are broken. This theater is 20 years old now, which is a little crazy to me cause I remember it new and don't think if myself as old...but I digress. It's time for an update friends. Seats have lost some of their Cush and don't recline really. Paint has lost its luster. And the ticket stands digital screens are literally broken with taped up pieces of paper where there was once LED lights telling us movie times. I've always been annoyed by the purgatory style bathroom that's BETWEEN the 2nd and 3rd floors, making stairs necessary no mater what. What's with that? BUT, they ARE showing more movies now, they have smaller scale films lately, not just blockbusters, so it's nice to have the theater closest to me offer such a variety. I also like their loyalty program and signing up for the text coupons saves me some dough on my favorite movie stand snacks. Also, Costco has some great passes you can use at any time for just $8.50 a ticket! So it's one if my movie homes, I'm glad it's there and just hope they can update soon. read more

Oh Regal, your other locations are so much better, why is this one, in the heart of downtown so...meh? You should really step it up considering you are right next door to AMC practically. It was about 15 min before our movie was supposed to start, they said please wait another 10 minutes until we clean out the theater...fine, understandable. I like not having to step on popcorn, straws, and otehr sweet candies. Finally they let us in, it's tiny, and there were still cups under my seat. Come on now? Did you really clean? I was feeling a little bit tired, so my hubby and I got a latte at the concession stand. The girl filled it half way. Really? I am already overpaying for your crappy machine "latte" and you only fill my already small cup half way? Both of our cups were like that. We asked her if she could fill the cup a bit more and the girl looked very expressionless and confused at my request. She said she can't. I had a mental notes of minor annoyances building up before the previews even began. The staff also needs to smile more..and clean the theater if they are saying they are cleaning it and not letting me go grab a seat. Also, stop overpricing on half filled machine made lattes. I know you can do better Regal. I'm no business owner, but I do know that you won't last very long, especially with a strong competitor next door that has WAY better customer service and comfy seating. If this is the only place conveniently located for you to see a movie at, then it's fine to go, don't be scared away, it's alright for a theater, just don't expect the best. read more

This is probably one of the worst theatres I've been to. You'd think that since it's downtown it would be nice, but in fact it is the COMPLETE opposite of that. It is dirty, pricey, and cramped. One of the things that really pisses me off is that they won't let you use the stairs. The stairs are blocked off with a sign telling you to instead use the escalators. What a pain in the ass - what if I WANT to walk up some stairs? Of course, the stairs that go up to the very inconvenient third floor restroom are open...that's what I want, to have to go up the stairs when I am trying to hurry and use the bathroom so I don't miss some epic part of the plot. Poor design. Speaking of the restroom, it is a filthy, disgusting mess. There are always numerous employees standing around, but none of them use their time productively to clean the public restroom. There are likely 20-30 stalls in the women's restroom and it took my friend and I trying about 15 stalls each to find a clean enough stall to use. It was horrifying peeking into the stalls hoping for a clean one, but instead finding all sorts of lovely human waste everywhere. Come on - clean the bathroom. It's ridiculous. The theatres themselves are rather uncomfortable. The seats are fine, but the floors are flat and the screens are high up on the wall. This leads to a need to crane my neck up to the screen or to slide down far in my seat, no matter where I am sitting in the theatre. On top of that, there aren't that many seats in each theatre (unless Theatre 1 is some big one or something). The tickets are $10.50 at night and $8.25 for a matinee. Talk about outrageous. The employees are completely apathetic and so over the fact that they are working in a movie theatre. They couldn't care less if you had a good time or a bad time. The only things I find decent about this theatre are the number of screens, the fact that they often play certain movies longer than other theatres (sometimes I don't have a chance to see a movie right away - chances are they will still have it at the Meridian 16 a month or so later), and it's location (plenty of things to do nearby either before or after the movie). All in all, I really do not like this theatre and if I had a preference, I would go over to the far nicer Pacific Place theatres. read more

When oh when will I learn? This is a bad place to watch movies. The staff are great, but I didn't pay to watch them. I saw "Ratatouille" on screen four and the floor was almost flat. I had to slide down in my seat and look up at the screen. Uncomfortable, much? I saw "Rent" here, don't recall the screen number, but the sound was mediocre and that was a catastrophe because "Rent" is a rock concert. It was like listening to music on a Kennedy era transistor radio. I will drive many miles to another theater before I pay full price for this movie-going experience. I'll admit it, when it comes to watching films, I'm spoiled. At home, there's black-out curtains and a projector with a massive screen. The leather seats recline and have cup holders... there's even throw blankets if you are chilly. And my lightly buttered popcorn is quite good. So if I venture downtown cinema and plunk down over $20 for a movie and some snacks, I want it to be worth it in some way, right? That's not too much to ask? This location is subpar in my opinion. The seats aren't comfortable compared to options downtown and in fact, they are ramshackle in one of the theatres. On one visit, my lanky companion had to move because the seat sat lower than the others. The arms are fixed so that eliminates sitting close to one's companion and there's no head-rest. I know I should be able to hold up my own head for a couple hours but for $11.00 plus parking, I'd like to lean back! I have visited this location primarily through free Yelp previews but I recently paid to see a movie here. I shall not do that again. When you're paying for something outright, you view it differently. None of the employees I encountered were friendly. From the cashier to the concession stand to the usher who took my ticket, they all imparted an aura of "we don't want to be here so why are you"? My final complaint is that bathrooms are only on one level, located in between floors. This presents a problem for those with mobility issues. Otherwise descend/ascend the weird narrow stairwell and hold your breath, it's a little funky in there. It's also a little creepy when you're in there alone with a stranger especially since the bathrooms are the ONLY thing located on that particular floor. read more

DO NOT SEE A MOVIE HERE...This is the absolute WORST theatre in Seattle. why are other regals being retrofitted and upgraded. This place is the pits. The seats are narrow and old school fixed position. The cup holders are in the seat back in front of you, if your tall youll hit your legs. The lighting is too bright during previews. The screens are poor quality. You pay the same price at NICER theatres. Additionally the bathrooms are in very strange location between floors accessible by a weirder stairway. Ok, so this wasn't the best theater choice to go see my beloved Harry Potter. They are Fandango friendly, which is how we ended up there, and it doesn't seem to be ridiculously busy like some places, which is nice. But.... the girl told us we were in a big theater, if this was big I'd really hate to see the small one.... the small one might only hold like 20 people. The floor was sticky, and they don't validate parking (that we could tell) and the parking nearby is EXPENSIVE - can you say $14 for a movie. The location is nice though, there are quite a few restaurants and bars nearby where you can go get a drink and a cocktail before or after the movie. I guess for the $10.50 per person for a ticket and the totally unreal $14.50 for 1 large drink, 1 medium popcorn and sour patch kids, I'd like a nicer, larger, cleaner theater. I like the one in Pacific Place much better. read more

I really dislike this theater. It was the only place in DT that was playing the movie my group wanted to see, so we sucked it up. The theater was really cold and there was a nasty draft blowing down the isle. The incline of the theater floor does not rise all the much so you spend the entire movie looking up, unless you sit in the back which is sorta mid-screen. You can easily hear the other movies playing next to you. Now this may be a small complaint, but the bathrooms are in the most inconvenient place, unless there are hidden ones I am unaware of. You have to take stairs to get to them and it is a trek to them. If you have had one of those monster Cokes you may have to use them if you are at a long film and you are gonna miss a chunk if you have make the journey. Then you have the survey takers downstairs; I am trying to get to my movie, leave me alone. It will do in a pinch, but there are much better theaters. read more

Cozy little movie theater around Cheesecake Factory and the mall. Even though we couldn't find seats to the movie after we had purchased tickets for, we were able to go inside and see what it looks like. It's definitely not as big as AMC seating, but that's the charm of a smaller theater! Tip: budget your time for parking & get there early to save a good seat! read more

OK, so I'm not particularly concerned about the awkwardness of getting to the restroom (which was clean when I used it, but hey, I watched the last showing of Coraline in 3D for the night, so I was using the restroom around 11:45pm)... I'm not even worried about whether I get to use an escalator or (as we did) stairs... I actually would've been content to know about the escalator prior to walking up the flights... What I like=location and selection. I sat about 3/4 back and was able to move around a bit to not have a kid's hat sticking up in front of me, so my viewing was fine... That said, it won't be getting me as a "fan" because it's grimy, kind of smelly (musk and oil from popcorn, nice), and the screen for Coraline was not quite perfect, so sometimes even with the 3d RealD glasses, it was both dingy (they didn't adjust the color like other places do) and often had double vision in annoying small amounts... then again, that's kinda typical, and it's partly about who is handling the equipment and how well they maintain it all... I am glad this place is there. I don't like spending $10 to see ANYthing... but for Coraline in 3D, I was fine giving this particular child of Satan my money (instead of Cinemark, a far worse demon than Regal!) What this place really needs, though? A decent map of the place on every wall... something lit by LEDs showing where to go with little buttons for "bathroom" "fatfood counter" "cinema (scan ticket here)" and "exit" ... because were I bound to a wheelchair, I'd be exhausted after finding my way around. Were I elderly or injured, I'd be hurting... Oh, the seats... they're alright. Nothing special... nothing ooh and aahh... they probably need major updating with height adjustments (a bit of slanting of the floor, please, even just for the actual ROWS, to let us guarantee a decent seat PLUS readability for text)... Someone mentioned the good versus bad? I think I got the good room... but I can't quite tell... One thing I give thumbs up for... um... weird nostalgia-inducing decor... carpet like the game room in my dad's old house 25 years ago and prior, lighting sort of like what I had in lava lamp days, and just... I dunno, I like that with all the stairs and such, you kind of see the place (and outside) from so many weird angles. That alone has some inherent value for a kid at heart. It sure better for over $10 a pop. read more

We had some free tickets to use at a Regal Cinema and had heard about the recent renovations at the Meridian. The only reason for three stars is that the renovations are still in progress but it didn't spoil our enjoyment of the movie. The electric reclining seats are awesome! The comfiest seats of any movie theater I've been to. Perhaps not the best audio but certainly good enough for the size of the screen and theater. There are several parking garages nearby that offer a flat rate on the weekend so parking wasn't a problem. I'll certainly visit again and looking forward to seeing the completed renovations throughout the building. read more

I hate this place!!! Okay maybe not hate but definitely loathe. Wait is that too strong too? I just would prefer not to watch a movie at any Regal location but especially this one. We get to our movie about 15 mins earlier than it was suppose to start but as we head upstairs to the entrance of the theater there was this huge crowd just standing there. We asked around to see if they were waiting for our movie and they said yes and it would be another 10 mins because they needed to clean the theater still. I mean its going to be 5 mins before showing and they didn't have a line for it. So when they were letting people in there was a rush pass the ticket person. I felt like that was just messy. No order and if I was first I was cut by people who just came. Umm, I waited so I could get good seats. I walked it and really no seat in that theater is good. Furthermore, I went to get a drink. I get that movie theaters charges an arm and leg for the refreshments and I am okay with that. I am not okay with them "up-sizing" my drink for a dollar extra without having an option to say no. I asked the cashier why am I paying an extra dollar for an up-size drink when all I asked for was a small? Mind you, I did not receive an up-size from a small. He says it is an automatic thing so the company can make more money. Hey, at least he was honest. BUT SERIOUSLY????? if you are going to charge your client just put it in the damn price and don't let me see that extra dollar charge if I CAN'T say NO to up-sizing? I was just really confused about that and did not like that I did not have the option to say no. I mean Come ON? Also they don't have stadium style seating and their chairs are just not as comfortable. I wish the movie I was watching was playing at AMC because I much rather go to their theaters. read more

They don't have an abundance of extra things like arcades and silly things for children, but there are multiple concession counters, and there are always employees around to help. There are a number of screens, so there are always people coming and going. The facility is clean, and the employees are helpful. Something to consider is that this is a downtown location, so you should definitely get there early for a screening - especially at night. There are plenty of parking garages and bus stops nearby. Plus the Cheesecake Factory is across the street for post-movie deconstruction. read more

Not an overly fancy movie theater but it is downtown and close to a variety of other things. I have signed up for the Regal Rewards (free) and it is a total score! I have gotten free popcorn/drinks and discount tickets- not too shabby (especially since going to the movies can add up!). During big opening weekends, it can get crowded but going during the day/later afternoon is defintely the easiest. Most recently, with a $25 gift card, we were able to get two matinee tickets and have $2 leftover to use towards a soda. read more

I didn't love the this theater. The theater I was in was very small and didn't have stadium seating, so you also got to watch the head of the person in front of you during the movie. Other than that - it's a movie theater! They serve overpriced concessions and you get to watch great movies. I thought it was fine just nothing special. read more

This was the dirtiest, overpriced movie experience I have ever had! I've been to dollar theaters in both Arizona and Arkansas that are cleaner than this theater. It needs to be hosed down, with a fire hose! Additionally, the seats were super uncomfortable and didn't recline, and the screen was small yet we were seeing Hunger Games on opening weekend. Parking is expensive downtown, so that is the first negative. I wish they had a validation garage for movie goers. Next was the movie ticket prices- ouch. Then the food and beverage prices- even more ouch! I think for 3 entrances, 2 popcorns, two drinks and a snack, we paid $80+. We wanted some popcorn toppings (as other theaters have for free), but they charge $1.50 for flavors. Lame. Now, I know movies nowadays are expensive. However, I do not want my shoes to be sticking to the floor as I walk into the theater. I pay a lot, expecting that the theater at least maintains the slightest bit of cleanliness. Not here. Also, as other have said, the bathrooms are on a different level, so you have to go up a (dirty) staircase to get to them. And lastly, my husband got some mini corn dogs, and it took almost 15 minutes for them to make them (all cashiers apparently share one microwave oven cooker). They first said 5 minutes, which was fine because we had about 10 minutes before the movie started. I walked in literally as the movie was starting, thanks to those stupid corn dogs. Parking: There is a reason why I don't come into downtown, I don't want to pay for parking. But hey, I'll suck it up this time since I and the group have never been here. I'd rather park half a mile away for free parking. So the theatre can blame the City of Seattle, BUT: Bathroom locations: Fail. They're in between floors, so my screening was on the lowest floor of the theatre, good thing I went before hand. I can't imagine when I would have to go the tiny stairwell after the screening, when most of the time after a movie, you'd exit in the down direction to the way to the street. A bit of back tracking there. Seats: I consider myself to be an average build, but omg the seats are small!!! I was practically on top of my 6ft friends I was sitting next to, I felt sorry for them! I'd like to be able to rest my arms to the side, not on top of the people next to me. Because it's not stadium seating and I am short, thank God the girl kitty corner in the row in front of me lied that a seat was taken when it was not. Even people two rows in front of me blocked the bottom 4th of the screen. Would I go back? No. Coming from the north end, I'd rather stick to Northgate or drive past to southcenter. read more

Super duper not my favorite theater - but often the most convenient or the one downtown that's showing the movie I want to see. PLUSSES: - Convenient - Good variety of popular films - Self-serve kiosks so you don't have to wait in line MINUSES: - Many of the theaters are pretty small. - Video/audio quality doesn't seem to be consistent across theaters. - Audio bleed from neighboring theaters - That damn Regal roller coaster pre-film "turn of your cell phones" thing. Yeah... This place is as advertised. I went to watch Iron Man 3 opening weekend and got in fairly early. I walked through a couple isles trying to find a suitable seating location. That was my second mistake (The realization of my first came much later). Apparently the floors hadn't been cleaned in a while so I walked through some dry soda spots. I really don't mind sticky shoes knowing that, after a bit of walking, it will eventually go away. My biggest issue with this theater was the seating. I guess I've been spoiled with all the new theaters and their "fancy" stadium seating. I was extremely lucky in that the person in front of me took it upon themselves to sink down into their seat. Even still, a portion of the bottom of the screen was cut off. Now, I am in no way short. Very average at 5'11'' and I still had a bit of trouble seeing over someone who was sunken down into their seat. Apparently the restrooms at this location are an issue. Fortunately, I didn't need to bother. I could think of worse ways to spend a few hours but if I had a choice in theaters, this would probably be on the bottom of that list. Pros: My medium soda was upgraded to a large for like 35 cents or so... I don't know. I wasn't paying attention to be honest.
