The male that was working on my nails was being extremely rough. He drilled into my skin several times and this is an uncommon occurrence for me. I told them to do my fill with pink powder and he kept insisting that it was clear. Once he put the white powder on my nails, he realized it wasn't a match. There was all kinds of extra acrylic left under my nails. While he drilled under my nails at his failed attempt to remove it, he drilled through the false nail.

The last three times I was there, while getting a fill-in, there was always something that had to be done extra. If there was just a little chip on a nail, it had to be entirely removed and replaced at a charge of $5.  This happened the last three times I was there! Just a small chip, replace whole nail. $5 extra. Then I noticed that when shaping my nails, it appeared to me that they were being filed so thin. I felt this was done intentionally so they WOULD CHIP. And of course, that would be $5 when getting them refilled. The determining thing that made me decide to take my business elsewhere was when I was told my nails were long and there was an extra $5 added. I inquired about that $5 charge for long nails and explained that I had never been charged for that before. The explanation that was given was "they had just forgotten to charge you for it". My nails aren't even a half inch in length! I was always getting the gel polish, which is a higher price than just regular polish. My sister and I would come in at least once per month for your services. We both noticed the changes that were taking place. I politely and professionally expressed disappointment and dissatisfaction with the 2 minutes of cuticle care I was given on each foot during my pedicure and no one cared. The manager was not there. They told me my cuticles were "thick" and that the care provided was sufficient. They told me that if I didn't like it, I could leave. Enough said. I left and went to McCain Nail Spa across the street where I was treated better and heard. Listen here King Nails, idc how thick my cuticles are, grab that machine and cuticle tool and get to work. The staff overall seems chatty and nice without being intrusive, which I really appreciated because I tend to zone out during haircuts and nail stuff. Anyways, I got Mike, one of the owners for my treatments and I think he did a great job, especially since I'd chosen a neon polish, which are usually awful to apply evenly. I even learned a new trick for cleaning up my cuticles! So far my mani has 100% survived me washing my hair (my hair is like the great nail destroyer) so I think this shop's a keeper. :)

Some are crooked & others aren't snatching in shape. I wanted them longer too, but one of the tips got blasted with the sanding tool. Instead of replacing the tip to keep the length, she continued and shaved down the length of all of them. I would've been ok with that if the finished product was so bad. The lumpiness is driving me crazy. I seriously want to remove these and get new ones even though I just got them. I also got my normal gel pedicure. That service is good. I know it's under new owners now, so it's kinda disorganized in there right now. It also smells like baby diapers inside. I'll definitely be going somewhere else.
