When the technician was painting this nail, she let too much drip into the corner, but when I left the salon, my nails did not feel wet, and I thought she had corrected the problem. Then, almost minutes after the salon closed for the day, I took a bath and the polish on this toe started peeling off. I tried to find time to go in today and have the problem fixed, but I am a busy person, and just finding parking on Convention Street on a weekday is a huge hassle. Also I don't appreciate ladies talking to each other in Vietnamese and laughing what's so funny? My feet? I wanna laugh too!The fact that they don't put any base coat before nail polish is mind blowing to me, using low quality nail polish and no base coat is the reason your $30 manicure is gone the next day. Dip base with gel polish on top and said the French is considered a design but she didn't use any type of design brush and was done with my nail quickly. It looks fine for a regular French but I prefer more of an arch which she didn't do. She wouldn't tell me her name lol. You lost a great potential customer and awesome tipper. I visited a very upscale shop in a rich area a week ago and they don't charge 70+ for a dip refill with no added nail. The thing I enjoy about a pedicure is the feeling that I'm being pampered in a way I can't do myself. I just felt the technician rushed the service and I still had areas my toes that really should've been cleaned up. I was not impressed with the overall level of service for this one particular person. I was going to do a mani and pedi but decided to end my frustration and only do the pedi. I get the nail dipping, which is stronger than gel (which they also do) but not as harsh on nails as acrylic (which they don't do). Then when he was smiling then they looks great at first until after he had me wash my hands they were all crooked. I made an appointment today, left work early so I would have enough time to get my nails done before having to pick up my kids from school. When I walk in I'm greeted by someone who was working on someone else's nails and they asked me to check in and didn't offer for me to have a seat. About 5-10 minutes of waiting they then placed me at a desk to soak off my nails. After wrapping all my nails in the foil wrappers, the lady gave me all the nail colors to flip through. Which was impossible to do with foil on my nails. She the walked away to help someone else with a pedicure. I sat there for 45 minutes letting my nails soak while both technicians worked with other clients. They were under staffed as they also told walk-in customers it would be an hour wait for a service. This was a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a nail service. I knew better before going here because every other time I've been they've only had 2 workers and took forever each time. I then took the foil off myself and walked out. They tried rebooking my appointment for 8pm that evening after store hours so I couldn't "cancel" and had to be charged a full service fee!!! Basically when I walked I found the OWNER of the salon sleep in the pedicure chair and like a child had an attitude because he had to wake up and make some money. Ridiculous!!! He refused to help me find a color to match the gel polish, he refused to let me sit in the pedicure chair to paint my toes because I guess the chair is used for him to sleep in rather than have his customers feel comfortable in the salon. He also tried to refuse me service for asking to be more comfortable to get my toes painted. There was another tech there and her name is Chilling and she was super sweet and she ended up completing my service. Yesterday, I came in with tattered nails from another shop in BR (I won't say the name) and Regal Nail staff restored my faith in nail shops again. Once I walked in they alerted me they didn't do acrylic nails but reassured me that I should try their dip method. Dip what? I may be young, but I am not always as hip to things as I should be. Nevertheless, their warming staff made me feel and ease and made me feel like Cinderella...That sounds so cliche ....but you should've seen my "rags to riches" nails after Regal Nails laid hands on them. My nails feel lighter, healthier and it was fun experience to watch them dip my nails in powder. I'm such a kid at heart. Ok, so my nails are gorg..and even my boyfriend noticed the difference and said, "I love that color..your nails look nice." Ladies when your man notices...YOU KNOW you're doing good. I was really excited to learn that a nail shop opened downtown. With an infant, being able to get my nails done on my lunch break or after work created a convenience that was desperately needed in my life! I visited and thought everything seemed really nice. First frustration came though when all other guests were offered a drink and I was not. But I wasn't going to let that ruin my experience. Figured it was an oversight...right?! The big issue for me js that my gel mani began lifting and completely peeling off less than a week after. Not ok! Not cheap to get these done and they are supposed to last two weeks. WTH! I went back and they kindly fixed my nail but only two days later, others are coming up. Plus the job itself just doesn't look great. An added clear coat after the first issue makes my nails look thick and bubbly. Needless to say, I really wanted to like this place but it seems they have some kinks to work out. read more

Came at the appropriate time and it took forever to have anyone acknowledge us. We waited and waited and were told to fill out some paper work that asked for more information than is necessary TO GET YOUR NAILS DONE! I am not giving you my date of birth and occupation. There were only 3 people in the shop and 3 workers. It was unfriendly and awful. I eventually walked outside to find another nail shop. If you are so rude that I don't trust you to touch me- I'm certainly not going to pay for it. A full 15 min after we left- I got a call asking if we still wanted the service.... not from you. Here's the thing- I get they are pushing memberships and charge heavily for their services bc they are new and across from the watermark- but if you make your customers feel like an inconvenience- they will relieve you of their business. read more
