It's kind of grody, to be honest. We got there when it had just opened, on a weekend, and there was a giant pool of liquid and popcorn on the floor behind the counter. Like seriously, what happened in between the ten minutes that you opened? And most importantly, why did you not clean it up? So there's that, and also, none of their soft drink machines were working. So you could buy a $5.75 bottle of water (yes, that's the price -- I wish I were exaggerating), or you could buy a $5.50 cup of slushy. Why is water more expensive than slushy? It's just one of those things about movie concessions that really piss me off, here and everywhere else, but especially here. I ordered pretzels sticks, and I had to wait 20 minutes for them because they forgot about them right after taking my order. There was one guy working the concession stand, so if you weren't ordering something he could easily grab, you were SOL. I guess that was my fault; I shouldn't have ordered something that required going into the kitchen and microwaving. No one was there to take tickets, because there were two people working. So people were just walking around with their tickets in their hand, looking around for someone to take them. And since this in Indiana, no one wanted to be the one to just WALK IN without giving SOMEONE their ticket, so a bunch of people were just standing in front of the empty ticket-taking booth, looking a little mystified. The seats here recline, though, which is nice but I feel like they don't clean them very often because they just felt unclean. There are other, nicer movie theaters around (like Flix and the Landmark at the Fashion Mall), so I don't anticipate coming here again when I can easily visit a better theater.

This is yet another north side movie theater that is showing its age. If all you care about is the movie theater itself, this would be a 4 star review. Theater #4 had leather seats that were very big and comfortable. The standard sound quality was fine. Booster seats were readily available. The amount of previews was a bit excessive, but the ticket for Deadpool 2 at 11am was like $2 than Castleton's showing What really brings this review down from 3 or 4 to a 2 is the lack of care on the property overall, within the building, and the lack of modern amenities that even nearby businesses and other nearby theaters have. The property itself is clearly showing its age. The walkway has several noticeable cracks and I guess management hasn't really cared enough to address it. Within the building, the men's restroom has a very distinct urine smell. Considering that this was the theater's first showing of the day, it indicates that the restroom wasn't properly cleaned the night before, or that a deep cleaning needs to be scheduled. You'll also notice just general upkeep isn't occurring. Near the men's restroom, wallpaper is either chipped or peeling off. Finally, bicycle parking was not available. I had to go to the adjacent Kohl's to properly park my bike. The price point is good, but I'd also like to support a theater that properly maintains their property. This won't be high on my list to re-visit.

I've visited this theater many times over the past several years and the last few times have started to show some signs of decline. Overall this theater has been my go-to because it's not as busy as others and they do have some cool recliner seats! As more and more theaters are transitioning to this recliner seats/reserved seating model however this is not as big of a pro. The seats themselves are looking a little worn down and sometimes they have an odor.... my seat last time smelled like really foul body odor. I visited on a weeknight, and there were only a few people working, as expected. One problem I had was the the signs on each of the theaters were not updated to the correct movie and did not match the ticket... which was very confusing as I was not exactly sure what movie I was seeing. Ticket taker did not seem phased by this and was busy looking at their phone. As for the food.... VERY EXPENSIVE. A medium drink was over $6. I give Regal some extra points because they do have a great reward program. Popcorn was okay, not very warm but still nice and crunchy. I used to come here all the time because I am a Movie Pass user, but now as they don't really accept the major movies here for movie pass I'm finding it harder to find reasons to come back.

New leather recliners! Yes!

Admittedly, this theater is the closest to our home but we always opted to go elsewhere for movies as the UA Galaxy was not all that... until now. WOW! They are in the process of remodeling this theater and have added spacious electric leather recliners for seating! While this cuts down on the number of seats available, it makes the movie watching experience all that more enjoyable and comfortable. Our whole family could not stop talking about how awesome and comfy we were for the duration of the movie. Even reclined all the way back, you could easily see over the person in front of you -- no more looking around the head of the tall dude in front of you or having the back of your seat kicked by an annoying kid for the whole movie. Next time I am bringing a blanket. Watch me.

I loved this theater because you can reserve seats and not worry about the crowds and finding a spot. They also have very wide and comfortable reclining seats, which means it seats a lot less than a normal theater which I'm fine with! Obviously, every movie theater is expensive when it comes to concessions but they do have Cheetos Popcorn here and they have entrees!

Clean, affordable, and wow those recliners! Enough room for me and the baby and a large popcorn! Great sound, shows start on time, and the staff is friendly. Can't ask for much more.

Better than 90% of movie theaters in the Indy metro area…read more The good: - Clean - Reasonably priced - Heated and cooled reclining seats - Order delivery to your seat - Sort of IMAX What could be better: - Heating/cooling didn't work for our seats - This is by far the loudest movie theater I've ever been to - I feel like if the sound was 10% lower the experience would've been the same and safer for ears haha Overall had a great time watching the Odyssey.

This has become our favorite movie theater as of late. We saw Obsession and The Odyssey here…read morerecently. The seats are comfortable with reclining, heating and cooling features. Actually, I'm not entirely sure that it has cooling, but the button switches from red (heated) to blue (not heated). They recline really far back but still allow ample space for others to pass by without you needing to shift your position very much. I was disappointed that the concessions menu is not shown on their website. They give a brief description of the type of things that they offer, but not the full menu or pricing. At the concession stand, you can order and receive certain items immediately (such as candy, popcorn, hot dogs, classic nachos and drinks) but other items (like pizza and the ultimate nachos) will be delivered to your seats. There is also a full bar with an option to order a drink for now and one for later that will be delivered to your seat at a later time. That's pretty cool. In the lobby area, there is a player piano, photo booth and claw machine that dispenses rubber ducks (like the ones that Jeep drivers exchange). The drink area is where you will find condiments, napkins and straws. They have sodas and slushies. They also have lap trays that you can place into the cup holders of your seats for your food orders. They sit kind of high, but it's better than not having any type of tray or table. The cuddle seats are cute little love seats with an ottoman, but they are positioned on the first row (being the least desirable seats in the theater). I tested one out and you would basically need to lay down the entire time in order to see the screen. I didn't reserve those on either visit, but if you bring a blanket and your boo, that could be nice. The hot dog that I ordered was spicy. I wasn't expecting that, but maybe I should've known based on the name listed on the menu. I just wasn't "in the know". The popcorn is freshly popped. We weren't huge fans of the pizza though. It could benefit from being baked a bit longer. Surround sound is good. Lighting/contrast was good. In my opinion, it was a little warm in the theater, which drew my attention to two tiny ceiling fans located on either side of the theater. I'm not sure what their purpose is because they couldn't possibly be there to cool that huge theater. If you run hot, bring a personal fan!

Our family and new baby have made it through the forth trimester and decided to celebrate together. This was a first time to a film festival for each of us and we were super excited for the experience to be at The Heartland International Film Festival here in Indy. All of the volunteers were super nice and helpful. Getting to watch a film premier with the director in the same theater was wicked awesome!!!! If you ever get that opportunity I highly recommend you take it. My kiddos may be young, but I hope they always remember the cool things mom took them to experience such as this film festival. The film we were there to watch premiere was "Zero Gravity" which was a great family friendly documentary that followed a few young Cali students participating in a NASA coding summer program competing for the chance to create a winning code for NASA to use on the International Space Station. It was quite inspiring to see kids from all walks of life coming together to learn and create something so meaningful, tech savvy, and space exploration forward at such young ages. We are definitely living in the space exploration boom times friends! Thank you so much to all of the film directors, producers, and the staff required to create such art. And thank you so much to all of the volunteers who help to create such an unforgettable experience on the world stage! Looking forward to next year!!!
