Is this the best Regal in the area? No. Is it the worst? No, that award goes to Transit Rd.. They get a lot right though. Decent speed at the snack bar, although staff warmness could some work from time to time. Ticket takers are consistently welcoming. Bathrooms are clean enough more often than not, but rarely "sparkle". The crowds are bigger here than the other Regals which can make for a great watching experience for certain movies, but can cause some issues too. I feel like week nights are always a safe bet. Weekends can be a pain sometimes. All in all, I like them and they are my 2nd most frequented theater in the area. read more

I haven't been to this theater location for a long time. I came to meet some friends to see Wicked the movie. We bought our tickets online and ahead of time to ensure our seats were together. Entry was easy because of this. We bought some refreshments on the way in and the line moved quickly The pop and popcorn were delicious. Theater was clean, big comfy reclining seats and overall the traffic wasn't bad for a Sunday afternoon. I was amazed at how huge this theater was. I don't even know how many screens there were. I know that is was recently announced that many of the Regal Theaters will be closing. That includes the one closest to my house. Fortunately this one will be remaining open. The place is huge! I'm not sure how many screens. The one we went to had the nice reclining seats. Are they all like that now? We went on a Monday afternoon to see a Man called Otto (love Tom Hanks!). We were the only 3 people in the theater. Private showing. Thought the room actually looked like it held maybe 75, very small. Being in a mall, parking was plentiful but could be a bit of a hike depending on what time of the day you're there. My only issue, the sound was WAY to loud. The staff at the counter are friendly and helpful which is great. The popcorn was fresh and delicious with a lot of butter as requested. The theater was clean. So what was the problem you say? We went into the auditorium and it was sooo cold. I went out and asked them to turn up the heat and was told they didn't have control past a couple degrees but would try. I watched the movie with my coat over me so it would cover my hands and nose. I had to leave a couple times to warm up a little in the hallway. I was freezing when I left and won't be back till spring unless I bring a blanket! read more

At least I'm theater 1 the seats are amazing! Seems like it's been recently upgraded and definitely worth the trip if you are wondering. Only reason they have 4 stars vs 5 is because they don't have enough staff to take care of the concession line. Hopefully, that will improve as they fully and completely reopen. read more

Hubby and I went to see The Impractical Jokers, The Movie on a Monday night. This was both of our first time at this theater. It's nice! I felt like I was in someone's home theater! The reclining chairs are great and there was so much leg room. I didn't have to worry about anyone tall sitting in front of me and blocking my view or feeling crowded. It was clean upon walking in and up to our assigned seats that we picked online while purchasing tickets. I like that you can pick your seats online. I don't know what the process is when you purchase at the theater. My only complaint is, it is filthy under the seats. My phone of course slipped off me and fell in between the seats on to the floor. I had to look under the recliners to find my phone and found other stuff I didn't care to. read more

I went here about a week ago after not having been to the theaters since COVID hit. I went to go see Moonfall with my mother in law and partner. We viewed the 4DX option... HIGHLY don't regret it. We had no idea what that meant, but to our pleasant surprise it meant that our seats would literally move with the movie and in certain times we would even get a mist of water! Moonfall was like a space movie, so when the movie started it was like our seats were actually floating in space!!!! How cool is that??! Whenever there was an asteroid about to hit the shuttle, our seats would rock and the noise would intensity and there comes that splash of water! You can of course turn the water off if you'd like, but for us it wasnt too much it was actually a little mist if you please. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!! read more

Last night was the first night we went to an RPX movie,I really didn't know what to expect. It was amazing! The space in this theater is incredible, super clean as is all the theaters here, during the fight scenes your seat seems to jolt (almost like how 4d at Disney is) and the sound is unreal! We planned on seeing Star Wars in the regular theater but it was practically sold out so they were offering the RPX next showing for the same price - Um a no brainer! So glad we saw Star Wars the Rise of Skywalker in RPX, if you haven't seen it yet this is the theater to see it in! Note: if you seriously are addicted to Facebook don't go with your friends to the movies, it distracts people behind you even when you turn your brightness down - it is still too bright in a movie theater. Yes everyone saw your messaging and endlessly scrolling the whole movie!! Thankfully we have seats that recline so we could block your phone from our view and only saw it when you kept picking it up high to check it. Seriously dude Facebook is not the end of the world - learn to disconnect from your phone longer than 10 minutes! Especially at an event when others are around, enjoy the movie and the friends you are with! read more

The popcorn was so good and fresh. The attendant must have read my mind because he filled the bucket half way then put butter all over it and then filled it the rest of the way and topped it off with butter again. I can say the prices are very high for my wallet/pocket but still worth it. We went to see Blue Beetle and the theater was really clean and the floors weren't sticky. They had the really nice recliners and they were so comfortable you could just relax and go to sleep. (I didn't of course) read more

Using my unlimited movies subscription . I really haven't used my subscription for movies enough last month. I saw the French Dispatch and I enjoyed most of the first part of the film. It became confusing and disappointing. I don't know much about cinematography so I can't expound on what the movie was trying to portray I will leave that up to others. There was frontal nudity and I had no problems with it. I leave it up to the critics. read more

I came here last night, which was a Tuesday to see the new Annabelle movie (Annabelle Comes Home). While I absolutely loved the movie (I'm a HUGE horror movie buff) the atmosphere was not that great. We literally had someone snoring super loud next to us just shortly into the movie. You think that was distracting? Not as much as the people in a row or two behind us talking very loud almost entire time, and being super obnoxious during suspenseful times of the movie. At one point DURING the movie, an employee came into the theatre to tell these people "not to talk so much," but that hardly made a difference. I'm giving this theatre a better rating than I feel as deemed appropriate, but that's because the seats were actually pretty cool. They aren't as comfy as the AMC in Amherst, however it looked like no matter where you sat in the theatre you had an excessive amount of leg room. There isn't a large number of seats as you can see, and it actually looks like a pretty awkward setup as well, but my date and I liked this part of the experience. read more

This is where my husband and I usually go to watch movies. It's inside the Walden Galleria and seems like a newer, cleaner movie theater. They have reclining seats, which is also a big plus too. The concession stands have all the usuals, including the Cheetos popcorn. There's always a cop inside the theater and honestly it makes me feel anxious and safe at the same time. The Regal Theater at the Walden Galleria is probably my second favourite of the Buffalo area movie theaters. I've been here a bunch of times and have never had a bad experience. I've been here twice in the past week to see Super Troopers 2 (Flaming pile of crap) and I Feel Pretty (also a flaming pile of crap, Tianna C made me go see this, I swear). Similar to every other movie theater the concessions are insanely overpriced, but the staff is friendly, the theater is fairly clean, and I've never had an issue with a screening. Overall, it's a typical Regal location conveniently located inside of the Galleria, what else more could you need? Maybe some popcorn? who knows. read more

Movie central intelligence was hilarious! Unfortunately it was ruined by some if the kids that showed up. One women moved from them because they kept on moving and leaving the theatre and coming back into the theatre. Each time they came back in they moved. It was quite unsettling because i wasn't sure if they were going to do something. Once the movie started they stayed out. When did this get incredible seats?! What a lovely movie Theater this has become, my sweetest friends. Even though everyone I know will go away in the end, movies make me forget about that. True, too much NIN and Johnny Cash for this guy... The only downside here is that I find the Theater hard to find when the mall is closed. I came here for a 10:40pm showing and while the rest of the mall was closed, I was driving around quite aimlessly until a security guard showed me which entrance to use. I still couldn't tell you how to get there, but hopefully you'll have good luck finding the Theater during a dark and rainy night. Prices are high and I'm not sure if they still do Regal Tuesday Night's, but the seats and the sound are great. read more

We spent much of the day here waiting for midnight train (Amtrak) to Chicago. We were impressed that the shopping mall was so active and so many shops were open and apparently thriving. Back home, a number of malls are sparsely visited with a number of closed establishments. The Food Court had a good variety of establishments. I picked two entrees at Easy Wok and the servings were generous-the two of us could have shared an entree for a lighter lunch. After relaxing for a time in the massage chairs in the upper level we visited the Regal Theater and experienced the 4DX showing of the Black Adam movie. Finally we took an Uber back to the Amtrak station in plenty of time before our train. We did have an initial scare however when our Uber driver did not show and picked up some other passenger instead. He doubled back later to pick up us claiming mistake. I was able to successfully challenge the extra charge that appeared on my Uber bill. Moral of the story: the mall is a vast place so make sure your driver knows where to pick you up, for sure. read more

The theater was very busy this morning. We were in line for a movie starting at 10:30. Many customers were buying tickets for "The Black Panther". It is showing at 4 of 16 theaters at the Regal Galleria, at many times. People were buying tickets for later in the day showtimes and there was only one woman at the ticket counter. When we left the theater, the line was very long as many school children were coming in. A second person was at the ticket window. "Luckily" for us, there are many commercials and coming attractions shown as we did not get to our seats until 10:39. The movie actually started at 10:47! We enjoyed "15:17 to Paris". We enjoy this theater because of the Barca-lounge style seats. read more

Probably the most clean I've ever seen a regal movie theater (I'm a frequent regal movie goer). The RPX was phenomenal! All the speakers worked, lights were phenomenal and the seats vibrated. Clearly I don't go to see IMAX anymore since I've discovered RPX. Best experience out there and the ONLY reason I pay money to see a movie. RPX is top of the line. If you want an amazing movie experience... RPX is the ONLY way to go. For buffalo, this is probably the cleanest and most well organized theater I've been in so far! P.S. Let's start with the good part. The reclining seats are very nice and spacious. The stadium seating is very good, people in the row in front of you are no problem. This morning the theater was very busy. Not a surprise because of the "Black Panther" (in 4 theaters!!!) and school holidays. What was a surprise that there was only one ticket counter open. We were in line for over 15 min. When we left there was a second ticket window was open but the lines were much longer and a lot of school children coming in. The upcoming attractions part seems to be longer and longer. It took almost 20 min before the movie (15:17 to Paris) started. The movie was very nice and we enjoyed it. read more

The seats comfortably recline, there's a spacious arm rest between seats. The staff were fine, too, but they don't appear to monitor the audience in any way (meaning, they don't stop people who are speaking in full voice while the trailers are on. I really enjoy this theater I'm glad it's as close to my house as it is! This is a big theater with many different stadiums and those amazing reclining seats! Opening up into the mall is great as well so you can get your tickets without standing outside and spend time in the mall before or after your movie. This theater is pretty clean and the employees are friendly. They've got the awesome RPX theater here, which is like an IMAX except not as crazy expensive but big enough of a difference that it's not a regular movie screen. Snacks and food are outrageous here but that's to be expected. Movie prices are what they are but remember Tuesday is discount ticket day where a movie is only $6.50! I recommend this theater for sure and I'll be back many more times in the near future. read more
