I visit the West Manchester location very frequently it's always a great movie experience. Service is always very great. Employees are always willing to tell you about benefits of regal cards etc. Using the URL code on your phone for tickets is always very convenient to use. They also do half price movie tickets / discounts every single Tuesday. Great location close to other restaurants etc. Temperature is always suitable during movies. Reclining chairs are comfortable. The layout is more suitable / relaxed fit for seeing comedy's / thrillers / horrors. I wouldn't recommend this theatre for movies you want to feel immersed in for example action / sci-fi / adventure etc. I highly recommended the Regal unlimited movie pass. You can watch any movie any time for $18 dollars a month. You can schedule your tickets in advance and you only have to pay .50 cents for a transaction fee every time you make a purchase. This also helps you build points to get discounts on future tickets/food. read more

This is my go to theater mainly because I'm a Regal member. Ticket prices line up the same as about any other theater. The reclining seats are a little too comfortable, I've dozed off for a few minutes during a handful of movies. They started a few years back by having a ton of merchandise in the lobby which is cool but pricey. The only thing that a I'm not a fan of with this theater is the popcorn. They changed something and it's no where as good as it use to be. Careful going on a Friday or Saturday night, they only seem to hire young kids and not enough so the lines can get backed up. read more

Horrible. The picture is always analog looking. Last night theater 2, for 28 years later, was blurry so I complained and the lady seemed concerned and went to check on it right away, but the picture never changed. Another time, the theater was super hot and I always take a blanket, my family and I were dying That night from heat. A time before that, saw Gladiator, and the picture was so dark you couldn't see faces, and everything was dark and gloom, ruined the movie for us. Watched it later on a high def tv with a brighter screen and loved it! I'm done with this theater! read more

This is the 2nd time within a few months that their soda machines are down. This time, no carbonation. Wouldn't even allow us to bring anything in from the outside. $6 for one of the last gatorades though. Won't be coming back to this theater for a while. read more

I have seen two movies this past week. The screen showing is to dark and blurry to enjoy. It looks like a film that was taken by someones cell phone. Both movies would have been fantastic colors and scenes, I did not enjoy either and will most likely rent them to experience the cinematic beauty. Shame on this theatre ! read more

Everything was great, the only thing was it did feel like the screen was relatively small, but I did come from a movie theater that had an XL screen so that just might be my opinion. Prices were good, sound and picture quality are great. They could maybe get a better concession stand as it was just a small corner from where you order. read more

I never write reviews, but Regal West Manchester is thee absolute worst. I have a dozen stories I could tell about the screen being super dark, or blurry etc. Twice I've gone to a 3D showing there and the 3D was flipped. The background in the foreground and the foreground in the background. Unbelievable. PS: If that ever happens to you, you can turn your glasses upside down and it fixes it. This is our preferred movie theater, we normally go here for movies for the past 5 years. The theaters always look clean upon entering your showing of the film, no popcorn on the floor. The seats are very comfortable but they're always super loud. They sound like loud farts and it's awkward to move it in the middle of the movie. Movie quality is always good, but they do an obnoxious amount of trailers, about 15-20minutes. Pretty big theater inside. Concessions has good options but is super expensive so we never get anything. The prices are kinda expensive but I think that's just the current economy right now with movie theaters. read more

This theater does not care at all. Went to see a R rated HORROR movie, and a family comes in with an infant baby! The family was talking, using phone cameras, and the baby was crying and screaming the whole time. People complained to the staff and there was nothing done about it. Poor management, horrible experience and ruined my movie watching. Gonna go to AMC to rewatch the film. read more

Theater and staff were great. Consession for popcorn, horrid. My family and I went to the movies last night and always get popcorn and drinks. The popcorn was extra hauly and all 3 of us got sick off the popcorn. Idk if the oils were bad or the machine was dirty...when you belch sulfur with the taste of popcorn...you know where it came from. Never again buying this product. I can see if 1 person had gut issues from it but all 3 of us??? Definitely food poisoning. Dont recommend the popcorn. It is my most favorite thing. So sad. read more

Wow. I was so disappointed with the theater. The upkeep has declined over the years . Also, I ordered pop corn which was cold and when I asked for salt they pointed me to small packets . Small pockets are so odd when talking about a huge popcorn. I had to open so many lol . The bathrooms were disgusting . I just wanted until I got home . We are unlimited pass holders, they ran out of large popcorn containers and large drink cups,instead of giving us the free refills because we wanted larges, we would have to buy the same containers again per the manager, the girl at the concession stand said. I saw an employee throwing away new large popcorn containers. I will never come here again, my home Regal is better at least they try..... you can tell the employees here are stressed and hate there jobs, I have never seen it so bad. read more

Service is horrendous. Just walked out with a crowd of people, we all missed our movies. The ticket counter is closed. Must stand in concession line to buy tickets since ticket counter is closed and both kiosks are disconnected. We arrived 45 minutes prior, stood in line for 55 minutes, still had six people in front of us, we asked if there was anyway to purchase tickets. We were told to use the kiosks, when we explained the kiosks were not operable. We were told 'oh no, again. Sorry'. Beyond frustrating! This theatre is known for this. Going here is a gamble - staff has no sense of customer service or concern for the customers. The theatre has amazing potential, managed horribly. read more

They never answer the phone when you call. They say they are hiring at this location every time I have seen a movie. I've been to about 5 movies with in past 2 month. I was at a movie last night and they said they were still hirin. My son has tried to get a hold of a manager there more then 5 times for an interview and then 5 or more time for a follow up and the will not call back. The manager Chris has had multiple messages left for him about this and still no response. Sounds like this place needs to be better managed to me. read more

The seats are really comfortable and fully recline. The theater was clean, you don't see a bunch of trash or have sticky floors. They bathrooms are always clean as well. The staff are nice but I will say they do take a bit of time getting things ready at the concessions stand. Some of the staff seem to be standing around while one person runs one line. My husband and I get the movies pretty early so it's not that big of deal, but if there is something that can be worked on I would say the speed of check out. I do like all of the options for food and drinks that this location offers though. It's expensive but all theaters all. We usually eat dinner before or after the movie and just get candy. We love that we can pick our seats and get our tickets ahead of time and online. Overall I do really like this location. read more

The theatre is great and the recliner seats are the best. The areas they need improvement are in the ticket booth.. while I use the kiosk and get my tickets n less than 1 minute, the folks in the booth seem to take 5 minutes per customer... I would suggest you put up signs so people know you have the kiosks inside. Maybe even put them in the entrance area.. Food... slow slow slow. I got in line with 3 people/families and it took over 15 minutes... while there where 3 lines, you need a single line that is served by 3 servers and not have 3 separate lines. You cannot have one slow staff or complex customer tie everyone else up. You also need a manager helping out during start times to help out before a movie starts to keep the lines moving. Help bag pop corn or get sodas. read more

They are going thru a huge remodel. They aren't much to look at now from the outside since the whole shopping center is going thru a remodel. Wow!!! The theaters that have been remodeled are fantastic. Leather seats recline with foot rest and huge arm rests. It's true home theater seating. They did increase movie ticket pricing-$10.50 a ticket but worth it. I've always liked This Regal theater more so than Franks but with this remodel, love it more so now! read more

This theater is amazing since its renovation! Instead of cramped typical seating, they have opted for power recliners that tilt as far back as needed depending in your location. Complete with two cup holders per arm, this is ideal for any film or date. I would advise either booking online or going earlier in the day depending on the movie you wish to see. The seats are so comfortable. Fully recline, plush leather and the leg room is more than enough. We bought tickets online and were able to reserve any seat we wanted. The previews were child friendly, theater was very clean and the staff was nice. Concessions were extremely expensive and we had to go searching for the 3-D glasses. I'm not sure if we will return for the modern and comfy amenities or choose a more reasonably priced theater. read more

Good theater, great selection of movies, but like all of it's kind be prepared to write out a mortgage payment at the concessions stand. IF you get a Regal Club Card (free) they offer popcorn free on Tuesdays. As you accumulate points, you get more free things (like soda, movie tickets, etc) Definitely a perk. read more

I have been here several times without complaint but I need to get me one of those cards ;) The only thing I will add is the mall is undergoing renovations and the theater seems to be keeping up on possible dust issues. Only a few people (it seemed) watching movies and no one else in the theater we were in...and that was good for us. I have no idea how they manage to stay open. read more

The movie theater itself was a good experience! My 7 year old loved it! However, the snack counter is pretty expensive. Example: the boxes of candies you can buy at Walmart for $1 are closer to $5. Since the renovations this has changed from one of the worst theatres in York to one of the best. Gone are the old hard seats replaced with recliners complete with leg rests. These seats are easy to fall asleep in. read more

Instead of being told that it would be a moment (I know the syrup needs to be changed and it takes just a few moments - I have worked in food service for years), we were told they didn't know how long it would take. Went to Regal Cinemas at West Manchester today to buy tickets for a show tomorrow. What a horrible experience! I went inside to a crowded concession area and ask the young man collecting tickets where I could buy tickets. He told me that I had to wait in line with all the people buying food. Really, they don't have a separate line? Needless to say, I waited at least 25 minutes. Ridiculous! Had I been waiting to see a current movie, I would have missed it! I would never expect such a nice place just from outside appearance. Every seat reclines, it smells new in here, and there is plenty of leg room! I am 6'3" and feel like I could do the Cupid shuffle and still have enough space. Very happy with my decision to come here! read more

I'm not sure what's going on lately because this theater is a roller coaster when it comes to experience. It went from crappy to decent and really good for a little and now back down from it's high again. You can't help get the feeling of them cutting costs and the customers are paying for it in long lines and wait times for food. From shiny new candy machine being removed to no longer using the box office to buy tickets to no more ticket scanner and to reduced staff behind the concession stand. Something just doesn't feel right when you have 4 to 5 long lines for food and tickets. I hope they correct all of this and make it feel like it's not being cheap. read more
