Worst theater experience of my life. Couldn't even get what I paid for. Movie was unwatchable due to projector issues the entire time. Manager was arrogant and rude. Not interested in helping or at least offering a refund. Never again. AMC and other theaters are getting my money. Good riddance. The manager doesn't have the experience to do his job. Might as well be bagging groceries with his skills

    Kiosks down.

Service is horrendous. Just walked out with a crowd of people, we all missed our movies. The ticket counter is closed. Must stand in concession line to buy tickets since ticket counter is closed and both kiosks are disconnected. We arrived 45 minutes prior, stood in line for 55 minutes, still had six people in front of us, we asked if there was anyway to purchase tickets. We were told to use the kiosks, when we explained the kiosks were not operable. We were told 'oh no, again. Sorry'. Beyond frustrating! This theatre is known for this. Going here is a gamble - staff has no sense of customer service or concern for the customers. The theatre has amazing potential, managed horribly.

The seats are really comfortable and fully recline. The theater was clean, you don't see a bunch of trash or have sticky floors. They bathrooms are always clean as well. The staff are nice but I will say they do take a bit of time getting things ready at the concessions stand. Some of the staff seem to be standing around while one person runs one line. My husband and I get the movies pretty early so it's not that big of deal, but if there is something that can be worked on I would say the speed of check out. I do like all of the options for food and drinks that this location offers though. It's expensive but all theaters all. We usually eat dinner before or after the movie and just get candy. We love that we can pick our seats and get our tickets ahead of time and online. Overall I do really like this location.

Looks just like the picture. Hahahaha NO

They're still doing a huge remodel throughout the mall, but since the remodel it is so much better.

This is my first time coming to this particular theater, and it had some highs and lows. The pros…read morefirst, it has an IMAX theater, which is very well-maintained, as well as an RCX theater, which has laser projection, and the best seats in the theater. There is a sizable arcade as you walk in to entertain children, young and old. The food selection at the concession stands was above just the usual, popcorn, soda, and candy. A few cons, the check-in process is very cumbersome. The box office is at the front entrance as soon as you walk in near the arcade, but then you have to walk down the hill to get to the main theater lobby. At the bottom of the hill is an attendant to take your ticket stubs or check your phones, which causes a long backup between the attendant in the box office. From there, you go directly into the concession lines or to your theater, but because of the bottleneck in the entranceway, the concession line gets backed up as well. Between the two bottlenecks, on a busy Friday night or Saturday, you can spend 30 minutes or more between the front door and getting your popcorn before you can make it to your theater. I have looked at some of the other theaters other than the IMAX and the RCX, and some of the seats in some of the smaller locations are starting to show some wear and age. It's a little overpriced for the area, but the general experience isn't that bad. 4 out of 5 for me.

My only beef was that we couldn't seem to get the newer consoles to work, as they were turned off and we weren't sure if it was okay to mess with the setup to get them working. No complaints otherwise. I loved the variety of pinball machines in particular. Free parking in York City garages if you go on Sundays or holidays. Definitely making this a regular stop.

Parking depends on the time of day with options…read moreon both the street and local garages, but don't be surprised if you have to walk a few blocks. Timeline is like most current retro arcades, you pay X amount per hour for unlimited plays, and you pay when entering. The entry fee for an hour is very reasonable. The arcade is reasonably large and is spread across two rooms. Selection includes retro arcade machines, pinball machines, consoles, and other gaming items. Timeline does get newer Stern pinball machines like JAWS and Star Wars: Fall of the Empire, on top of a handful of older machines like Spy Hunter and White Water. The selection of general arcade machines is good, with machines like Spy Hunter, Coors Light Bowling, Rampage World Tour, and Revolution X catching my interest. Several TV's and couches are available for console gaming. Timeline has some problems however. They need to more clearly define the BYOB policy in its public facing information. From experience, BYOB here means "mancan" sized drinks IE larger cans. The bigger issue is the machine maintenance problems which have gotten worse over time. I've run into several issues with machines not working, and during my last visit a bunch in the back room were out of order. Some of the machines at Timeline are clearly B or C grade machines, and simply do not play as better examples would. Is Timeline still worth a visit? Yes. It remains one of the better retro arcades in Pennsylvania, but there are better out there including in surrounding states like New Jersey.
