I promised the guy behind me I wouldn't recline and he responded he promised not to punch my seat, it was a close seating arrangement. I'm taking it that the owner has shuffled around to venues. They only had one bar open to serve I'm guessing 200 people. The stage was in the front and the spot light was blinding us at our table, I couldn't turn around. The acts were good, the middle guy not so much, His pit sweat was quite distracting.

I understand Improv classes are offered at different levels to prepare individuals to advance to higher levels of Improv. HIT is a performing arts theater. Tonight, the recent graduates of level 2 classes presented themselves to showcase what they learned as a group. HIT concession stand sells Merch (water bottles), bottled water, soft drinks, and snacks. Admission: $7.00 (to see one show) is collected at the concession stand, where snacks and soft drinks are available for purchase. It's also BYOB.

I really need to go a 2nd time to really review this place…read more I feel like it could be a hit or miss. I deff hit the improv theatre on a hit&miss night. I was SOOO EXCITED to go. I had only been to improv once when I was very young and was ready to really lMAO. The night started with the children show, which was so cute- I could have died. The kids kicked off the night with an interview style show. Which was great, I was guessing if the person being interviewed was part of the show or not because he was SOOOO FUNNY as well! Then the "real" show started- for the next 3 sets they followed the interview style show which was OKAY... but it got lame. It ended up focusing on one person, one point of view and it felt over played. I went into the night hoping to pee my pants, but instead just drunk the better half of a six pack (it is BOYB) and insisting on getting a night cap (which is also never a good idea). BUT I have an open mind and will update this review if I go again and do in-fact end up peeing my pants.

I visited The Port Comedy Club for a free open mic night. I didn't see much as I entered the venue…read more- the space was darkened, but obviously lined with chairs set up for the show. I sat in the next to last row and still had a good view of the stage. Overall I felt the seat I was in was comfortable for the length of the show, and the sound and lighting during the program was sufficient. Overall, good visit. I'd see another show here. Oh, they don't serve food here, but you can bring your own.

Well, that was interesting…read more The Good: This venue is very spacious and in a very rural part of PA. When I walked in with my family they had a very large ballroom completing Cowboy style line dancing. I am not knocking it, I would totally be down for line dancing, keeps you fit and I can say it is certainly something I have never done before. The Bad: I went to see the comedian, Kevin Nealon. I last saw him in Philadelphia over ten years ago and he was amazing last time. Would you believe he did the SAME act that he put on over a decade ago? He changed some of the jokes slightly, but I was kind of astounded he put on the same act! When he came on stage, he looked very high and I have to ask myself did he go to an old routine because he was high? Any who, my family who saw him enjoyed his act. One other qualm I had was whoever was instructing the cars to park would not allow us to come close to the venue to drop off people that have issues with mobility. The owner of the place did go on stage and was very friendly and did a short routine that was very welcoming, I would recommend if you are in the area to check it out. I do not think I will make it back to Pottstown, PA anytime soon but if you are in the area SoulJoel's could be a fun outting. As always people SYOY!!!

Crowd was awesome and had good energy like the performers. The waitresses were very attentive in asking if we ever wanted to put in more orders. Very easy people to talk to. The food quality itself is what you'd expect. Chicken tenders & fries 6/10: I wish the chicken tenders came out hotter and more crispy. But that could just be me liking my tenders a tad burnt. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea. Fries were decent! They were hot. I didn't think they were soft. I found them to be seasoned well. Chocolate cake 4/10: You could probably find a better chocolate cake from Costco. I found the cake portion to be really soft in an odd way. If you're craving chocolate, maybe look elsewhere. What the F*ck Drink 8/10: I actually really liked this drink. I think it was properly balanced and it got me tipsy. Overall, I was here for the entertainment. I had a great time and would recommend this place to friends and family.

My only complaint is that the price of the drinks was very steep. I have to say that while all the comedians were funny as hell, if you ever get a chance to see Stiletto, take it. The Jeffersonville location was a table show and bar food was available. It was nice that there was no mandatory minimum drink requirement when I've attended. It was a great time at a great price. I can't wait until the next event to enjoy some more hysterical laughs. Thanks for putting on some great shows.
