With no regards of my financial situation billing returned my call 4days later to tell me that I was unprofessional for leaving the appointment. I would never return to this place. What a nightmare. I was a little past my 6 month cleaning, so I took it in stride. I booked another cleaning with her for 12/13/22. I still got a lecture no biggie, I will pay closer attention. However, when it came to flossing, she acted as if she was scrubbing a pot. I've never had a Hygentist stand over me, resting her arm on my forehead and do that! I spoke up and simply said that she was being a little heavy handed, and shifted my head so she had to remove her arm! She got offended and said I can book with someone else next time. Upon leaving, I did book with her because I wasn't trying to be mean nor confrontational. However, when I went out the door, I turned around and changed it to Judy. Everyone seems REALLY NICE, especially Dr Gantz. However, Theresa just needs to be a little more gentle, stop the lecturing (scolding someone like a kid), and just relax. I LOVE going to the dentist. I'm going to give Judy a try, and if it doesn't work out, I'll go back to my old dentist, no problem. If it wasn't for Theresa, I would've given five stars. Dr. Gantz has been my dentist for the last 10 years and I have been to both office's in Waterford and Southfield, both are exceptionally professional. I have had some serious work done by Dr. Gantz and I compare her skills to that of a NASCAR pit crew. Dr. Gantz and her teams knowledge of dentistry is beyond compare. Beyond this, they care about the customer, and can often memorize faces and names making you feel like more than a client but a member of their family. If you are looking for a new dentist in the metro Detroit area, this is the place for you.
