I needed a crown and another dentist had recommended Dr Darmon, when I called his office they said…read morehe was booked but that I could see his associate. His associate did the work and put on a temporary until my new crown would be back from the lab several days later. He also told me I had bone loss and that I needed root planing and scaling. The cost of the crown was outrageous - and when I called the dentist that referred me and I told him he was shocked that they charge so much for a cash patient. When I came back for my crown I told Dr Sheena that my tooth and jaw were hurting and aching the entire time and that I was taking aspirin for the pain and couldn't eat on that side of my mouth. Instead of sending me to a specialist or using temporary cement he said everything was fine and used permanent cement for my new crown. I came back twice the first week because of the discomfort and then he told me to see a specialist. The endodontist said I needed a root canal and that my crown looked new. Then he proceeded to drill a huge whole in my brand new crown. When I went to my regular dentist's office for a routine cleaning the hygienist looked at my x-rays told me I didn't have bone loss and didn't need a scaling.

They were able to see me, which is pretty amazing in itself. The lady on the phone asked me several questions... when did it happen, how did it happen, are your swollen, did you cut your lip, are you injured in any other way, etc. She not only was trying to get a correct diagnosis over the phone (to ensure the DR. could see me), she also seemed generally concerned. After all, having a broken tooth is ALWAYS a traumatic event! The minute I walked in the door (not smiling or showing my teeth), they automatically knew who I was! There is something I like when I'm on the phone with someone, tell them I'm on my way... and they actually expect me and greet me by name! As the other reviews say, this office staff cares about every single one of their patients. This is one of the best dental experiences I have ever had! I'm not a person who has "dental apprehension", but Dr. Hartrick completely set me at ease. If you aren't familiar with cosmetic dental work, Dr. Hartick is outstanding! She is VERY concerned about patient pain and takes numerous measures to make sure it is minimized. She took a lot of time to explain the procedures being performed and what to expect. She even mentioned that she's a "perfectionist"! When doing cosmetic dental work, that might be one of the best things you can possible be, right? If I could give zero stars I would. On my original visit as a new patient (my previous dentist…read moreretired), I had a wonderful experience and was highly encouraged to pursue Invisalign. At the time I didn't feel they were "pushing me" into as I came in interested in pursuing Invisalign but looking back now they only had their interests in mind and not my best interest. I paid upfront for the trays, was told I would get a call soon to have the buttons placed and trays started. Three weeks later I had still not received a call, so I reached out to the office and was told there had been some delays. During that time, I had also reached out to my oral surgeon's office and it's at that time I realized that Dr. Saad office had never reached out to my surgeon's office like they had told me they had to clear the Invisalign. I was told Invisalign might not be the best idea for me by the surgeon's office for certain reasons and when I reached back out to Saad and spoke with Dr. Rice she became increasingly more agitated and aggressive throughout our phone call. Was frustrated with me for having real questions and then started practically attempting to bully me into moving forwards with the Invisalign. I had never been spoken to in this manner from a Doctor/ Dentist ever in my life and this occurred over three phone calls, including one joint call with my oral surgeon's office. Due to Dr. Rice behavior I choose to cancel the Invisalign which of course the office gave me a hard time about, they stated they would refund the money I personally paid but would be keeping me insurance money (which is fraud) so I had to jump through hoops to call my insurance company and get my deductible refunded. When I called the office back to try to speak to the owner of Saad Dentistry to talk about my experience, I was not given a phone number or told I could speak to someone, instead I was given an email address and hung up on. Moral of the story, save yourself the headache and go to a different dentist.

The front office staff were all very welcoming and friendly. They had been when I scheduled my appointment on the phone too. They got me in quickly. The dental hygienist, Maureen, was so sweet from the beginning! We talked a lot and she cleaned my teeth so well. She made sure that she didn't miss anything. They had really advanced technology and Maureen was even able to double check/show me my teeth when she was done with the cleaning to make sure she didn't miss anything. It was a camera like device. It was really cool! I hadn't seen it before. She did an amazing job and touched up a few areas that were missed. Dr. Thomas was also very friendly. He did a great exam and discussed my concerns with me. I did not feel rushed at all throughout the whole process. I will definitely be recommending Saad to all of my friends and family! Wonderful experience!
