I was assisting my sister find a dinning room set. After some very unsuccessful tries elsewhere, we ended up at a very unlikely place, Regency Furniture. The showroom is enormous! I'm talking furniture for days. Bedroom sets, dinning sets, living room sets, and accessories everywhere. We were promptly greeted by J'Aynna and she assisted us throughout the process. Later on, we were also assisted by Robert. I think that's his name, he's a manager in training. Even the woman at the front desk was a joy to be around. The customer service we received was absolutely stellar. They answered all questions and went above and beyond. Very friendly and helpful! She decided on a quality set and we were out the door. The process was quick and effortless. I was also impressed that the delivery date had a quick turnaround time, so she should receive the furniture in the next week or so. On Friday (2/28/25) I wrote this complaint. Good Afternoon, I purchased 19 items from Regency Furniture on 2/14 and 2/15. I was in the process of purchasing a new home. On Invoice #422500296 the sleeper sofa and my bedroom suite was scheduled to be delivered on 2/26/2025. The delivery drivers convinced me to take possession of the full bedroom suite since the couch couldn't fit in the basement so that I could be refunded. Please note that the drivers did not try the back basement entrance. They only tried the front. I took possession of the bedroom set and immediately called the store. My sales person convinced me to come back in for reselection that evening. I did and although nothing was in stock, 3 different salesmen searched online for availability of a better sized sleeper sofa. When they couldn't find anything, I proceeded to the cashier for a refund. She explained that the manager had left and she couldn't process it without him. She further explained that it would have to be restocked and appear in their system and to come back Friday. I am now in the store and the manager DERRICK first tells me that he can't do a refund at all. When I threatened to let my American Express holder take over for unreceived goods, he then starts talking about a restock fee. I then question the part of my ticket regarding my service plan for this item. He claims that there are no charges to be refunded regarding this. The manager Derrick also accused me of not giving them the opportunity to correct the issue. Luckily my sales person was standing there to attest to me calling and coming in trying to find another product the same night. I was clear about when I needed delivery because of house guests coming in town. Lastly, please note that I still don't have my dining room set from Regency yet. I am disturbed that the manager is trying to hold on to my funds instead of establishing a long term relationship. He actually said that corporate has to approve my refund. As of today, 3/6/25, $53 is still owed to me as it was processed as a pre authorization, not a refund. And I still haven't heard from the untruthful manager who stated that he would be sending a request to corporate regarding my issue with the restocking fee to see what could be done. Note; the email addresses posted to voice concerns, that sit on the counter of the store DO NOT WORK. read more

Welp... I was wrong. This wasn't the one. Not at all. This furniture is so cheaply made that apparently it's not even worth repairing. And the 5-year "warranty" I have covers random things like cigarette burns and 'scratches that penetrate the wood surface' (whatever that means), but not normal wear and tear ...and definitely not issues with the structural integrity of this cheaply made piece of junk. I've been on business travel almost every week for most of the 19 months I've had this couch and haven't really able to spend much time on it until quarantine. In those short few months, I have experienced a significant 'loss of resiliency' in the couch (translation: the middle cushion is sinking because the trampoline-like 'base' that the cushions rest on was not properly or securely attached to the frame, and has been gradually ripping away from the frame causing it to sink). I've called the store numerous times, but no one ever answers the phone. I finally ended up going up to the store, only to be told that I needed to contact the company that handles the warranty. The warranty company told me that 'loss of resiliency' (their term, not mine) is not covered under the warranty and gave me the number to a local furniture repair company who came out to take a look and quickly determined that it would be cheaper and better for me to just buy a new sofa. I've tried emailing Regency's customer service department, but I've gotten no response. It seems that after they get their money, they could care less about customer satisfaction. worst customer service I've ever dealt with. passes the blame for missed delivery to other parties and failed to acknowledge that we gave them an 8 hour window in the day that our loading dock would accept deliveries and they still missed it. continues to change and push back the delivery time throughout the delivery day. we still haven't gotten our couch and will opt to get a refund and seek furniture elsewhere. they won't answer your call or call you back as they promise. not dependable and not worth dealing with them. don't buy at Ashley furniture, the tell you what you want to hear and this silly company drops the ball. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I had the displeasure of working with Adrianne and Damien when my items were partially delivered. I spoke with Adrianne the same day of delivery. She assured me she'd look into the issue once the truck returned. She did not. I called again and she then told me the warehouse was closed on Sundays and Mondays and that I should call again on Tuesday. There was still no update but she stated she would look into the issue. I received no followup call that week or the following week. Any time I called, Damien would inform me that she couldn't come to the phone. I finally called again today and Damien informed me that the system has been updated to reflect that all of my items were delivered. This is absolutely false. I'm still missing the bed that I paid for. Please spare yourself the trouble and just shop somewhere else. read more

I asked why you charging me delivery fee and I was told I have to purchase ov3,000 dollars merchandis, but the advertisement never said that. Unfortunately. the sales man at Regency tried to take advantage of me. Not telling me the true price of items and trying to have me purchased more items than I wanted. He clearly did not know the items and packages in the store. He told me 3 items were a certain price. The third item, I did not want, but only took it because it was part of a deal. When is manager come over and clarified this, he did not tell me. Only because when we started breaking down the total price, was it clear "the math was not mathing." He basically was charging me for the item I was told was part of the package. Then, he told me the 5 year protection plan was fully refundable if not used in 5 years. Not true. Its refundable for store credit. Only learned that I because I read the fine print! Then after this, I still purchased the couches. But when I thought I might have to cancel my purchase, I called customer service to see what the process would be. The call center rep told me I would have to go to the store and they would only be able to issue me store credit for my purchase. Once again, I then reviewed my paperwork and the fine print..low and behold, I'm able to get a full refund if done within 2 days before delivery. I am not impressed with Regency right now, and it not for the fact I really like the couches, I would cancel my purchase all together. So apparently the best way to get your furniture delivered after numerous delays by this company or ashley furniture is to contact your local news station. A couple had been waiting for furniture since January 2021 and contacted Channel 4 NBC news. Furniture was delivered a week later after Channel 4 news contacted the company. Funny how that worked. I wish I never gave these people my business. 1. Ordered furniture the first week of July and did not get it until mid October. Barely any communication on when it was arriving. 2. Disgusting customer service from the corporate office (her name is Sharon). 3. Sold and delivered an incompatible part to my bed, then tried to charge me another $1k for one they said would work. 4. Redid my financing to deduct the incompatible part, never took off the original financing. Credit now shows I have exceeded by 179%, and due to timing, caused me to be declined for a student loan ‍. Our salesman Mohamed was very nice to us when we initially purchased our bunk bed set on July 16, 2018. However, within two days of our contract I came back in person to conduct a refund because we found a better quality and much less expensive set at Costco. The initial refund to my debt card for the deposit was fine. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line, between Jasmine (the office manager that processed my refund), Regency and Synchrony, the charge was not taken off of my Synchrony account until Sept 17, 2018. At this point my credit has been negatively affected because I now have a balance for furniture I do not even have. When I asked for reimbursement/store credit for the inconvenience of having my credit negatively affected due to their clinical error, I was told that only corporate has the ability to correct any issues and that managers due not have any jurisdiction to assist in satisfying an unhappy customer. I worked with Esom who walked me and my disabled mother all around the store in search of a dining room set. Also, we had very pleasant interactions with Ms. Banks. I had been to two other furniture stores before coming to Regency; neither store was as warm or as patient, or as nicely layed out as this one. I'm glad I made a purchase here. The shopping experience was great. The customer service is extremely poor; Sharon and Kelly do not know how to talk to people. We are having issues with a bed we purchased and the customer service representatives we worked with were rude and disrespectful to the point of frustration and anger. They questioned our integrity and lied in their notes. We just wanted our bed fixed, not a replacement. The response from Kelly via Sharon was "we aren't sending anyone out there again if y'all are having issues that's on y'all. We can send you some screws but we don't even have to do that. Period." Mind you, the person they sent out said we needed a replacement because it was put together incorrectly and anyone who buys things that need assembly knows that poor workmanship doesn't always reveal itself right away. We didn't realize how jacked up the bed was until we started having issues with it but apparently (according to Sharon) that is our fault for not looking for mistakes the day it was built. Lastly, when I asked for a copy the 1-year store warranty that they are claiming is voided I was told no. So my perception is they say they have a warranty with no intentions of following through. After all of this I looked at BBB and saw that many people had these issues. In summary, if you are going to shop there be cautious. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is my second time buying furniture from Regency and I honestly should've learned my lesson the first time. Went into the store on 2/9 and picked out my dream couch! I scheduled the delivery for 2/17. They called and said that the delivery window would be between 12-4. Around 1pm the day of, I get a call saying that the truck had broken down and that my furniture would get delivered after 4pm. I understand things happen so I let it go. At 6:30 they arrive. I watched one of the movers drag and bang the portion of my couch up. But since it was wrapped, I thought it would be OK... wrong! The couch was ruined and they had to take it back! I have tried all day today (the day after the attempted delivery) to get a new date for another couch to be delivered and have had no success. I even spoke with the store manager, Pam, who promised to call me back within 30 minutes to give me my new date. No call. And when I tried to call back she was apparently with another customer. It is the end of the day and I have no received a call. I called the corporate office and they were no help at all. STAY AWAY FROM HERE if you like a place to respect your time AND money. read more
