I visited the Furniture Place at the beginning of this year. Mr. Morris was my salesperson. From the moment I was greeted by Mr. Morris, I received excellent customer service. I bought a loveseat and area rug (see picture), chest of drawers, dining room set, and a beautiful vase. Mr. Morris was very helpful, did not rush me, and showed me fabulous pieces of furniture based on my preferences. I received clear instructions on the delivery process. The entire process went smoothly and was great. I am completely satisfied with my experience, and I plan to make another purchase at Furniture Place in the near future.My furniture was delivered as promised, and I was very impressed with the professionalism of the delivery people. Uuuuummmmm........how can I say this. This place is very unprofessional. I placed an order July 8th and was told my furniture will be delivered August 1st. However that did not happen. To top if off never received a courtesy call nor email to tell me otherwise. I DO NOT recommend this business. I had to call continously to ask about the furniture that I had already paid for. The salesman Prince told me to come in and get a refund, in which I did just that. I arrived at the store and the receptionist refused to refund me and had a terrible attitude. Then finally refunded me. This place is NOT worth it. Spend your money elsewhere. And this 1 start is so I can post this information. These people are crooks!! read more

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. I brought a dresser and nightstand from here. The dresser arrived a few days later damaged. I made several calls and emails to get it resolved but they did not follow up and gave me the run around. When I visited the store to talk to my original salesman and get everything settled, I noticed the exact dresser and nightstand I purchased were now missing from their floor model. For clarity, I purchased what should have been a brand new dresser and set. They refused to give me a refund and even called the police ( I was not being hostile or belligerent just adamant that I wanted a refund) after I told other customers who were in the store to not purchase from there. I would not recommend doing business with them at all. They will give you a faulty product and will give you the run around and never resolve any issues. I had to file a complaint with the BBB and dispute the charges with my bank. read more

So after ordering a coffee table back in November and being told that it would be delivered in January I have to say that this has been the worst experience I've ever had buying furniture. When January came I had to call them to find out what the status was of my delivery because they never called me. This was the first time of many that I was told that the delivery was being pushed back by a month. I received the same story in February, March and even this month (April). Each month I became more and more frustrated and I was treated more and more disrespectfully by the manager. She was extremely rude, hostile and very dismissive to me. I paid this woman $540 for my coffee table and she acted like I was annoying her by asking about my table that was ordered almost 6 months ago. I couldn't believe this woman's unprofessionalism. I finally took my complaints and concerns to the corporate office and I asked for a refund. I spoke to a very nice woman at the corporate office named Sandra who was very apologetic and compassionate to my situation and agreed to give me a refund. She told me to go back to the store to receive it. When I got to the store (April 20, 2022) to receive the refund the manager started arguing with me again. I was in complete disbelief with this lady's attitude. She then had the nerve to tell me that she was "GOING" to give me a full refund but because I had posted a negative review (on yelp) based on my experience, she was going to charge me a 30% cancelation fee. I couldn't believe she actually said that to me. I said "are you serious right now"? I told her that she needed to call the corporate office because I was told that I was supposed to get a full refund. I ordered a product almost 6 months ago that I never received, why would I be charged anything? The manager called the corporate office and spoke to someone and she was told to only charge me 10%. At this point I was just ready to get out of there, so I agreed to the 10% charge. As the manager was putting the refund back on my credit card she wanted to continue to argue with me but I ignored her while I signed the receipts. Because of the response that I received from the corporate office I don't want to say that this whole business is bad but the lady that manages the Forestville location is completely out of control. I purposely waited to post this review until after my refund was completely posted back to my card because I didn't trust that she wouldn't reverse the refund if she saw this. I purchased furniture to furnish 2 homes for myself & my daughter. I spent and extensive amount of money and got warranties for everything as I always do when it comes to furniture. First, they delivered the furniture to my home and it was missing cords to operate one of the main features in the sofa, I contacted the store manager, he told me to call the warehouse, this went on for months back & forth. Long story short, I never got the cord and have never been able to use that part of the sofa. 60 days into having the furniture the knobs started falling off the nightstand & dressers, again call the warehouse, never got those either, since then more knobs have fallen off and now I am unable to open most of my drawers on my dresser and none on my nightstand. Love seat recliner has now been sitting in an open position for over 2 months and will not close. I submitted a claim and it says that they are waiting for the parts, which parts, they never came to see what was wrong with the chair in the first place. No one has called me with any status and was just told by the now store manager that it probably won't get repaired until after the new year, so I am supposed to just deal with a broken chair because she said their staff goes on vacation for the holidays and there may not be anyone there to repair it whenever the parts come in. She also told me to call the Corporate office (warehouse) and they couldn't help me either, but did tell me I will need to pay for the knobs and the cord that I never received in order to use my dresser and sofa, ugghhh. They won't replace it and won't repair it so what am I supposed to do, decorate it to make it look like that's the look I'm going for so people won't notice it or wait for my grandbaby to bust his head since he is just starting to walk, and have to take him to get stitches or pray nothing worse happens until they can get to me. Worst place I have ever conducted business with. Please please anyone reading this do not buy anything from these people. I just reported them to the Better Business Beureau. I bought a sectional and a bed for my mother they said I would get the bed in a couple of days a month later my mother's bed has still not arrived. I placed the order on the 6th of Dec, they promised delivery on the 10th, they never called me and when I call them they push the date back to the week after. That week came nothing, they told me the 28th with the sectional. I called on the 28th to confirm and they told me the 3rd of January. I called on the 2nd of January to confirm delivery and they told me I would have to wait until the 7th. And when I called the warehouse they said I wouldn't receive it until the 17th. My mother has back pains now because she's been sleeping on an air matress whilst she waited for her bed. I cancel the order because I have no choice but to go buy another one which was delivered the same day by the way after I explained my situation. And the owner refuses to cancel the order. He said I'm stuck with the bill. I waited a month haven't even received the product yet and when I tell them to cancel it they said no.
