This is a very shady operation and the absolute WORST dental office I have ever visited. They deserve a .5, only because their Office Manager seemed to care. Their "1.6" out of "5" Star Google Rating should probably be LOWER. The owners are in hiding and refuse accountability. When I looked up this clinic's ownership on sunbiz.org, I found the name of ROSTISLAV KRASNOV, DDS 333 SE 2nd Ave Suite 2520 Miami, FL 33131 listed as the owner. I could find NO license information for this guy on www.floridahealth.gov.So "Doctor" Krasnov appears to be UNlicensed. Nor does his listed phone number work. I emailed the "Regional Manager" for RSMD given to me by them to speak with Dr. Ospina's Supervisor. It's been one week and still have no response. I tried calling this morning and was not able to speak with anyone. So HERE I am, right here, right now. Do not EVER allow this careless "dentist" to put its claws on you! Dr. Ospina has one DISCIPLINARY ACTION by this State of Florida agency (you can look it up at www.floridahealth.gov and see for yourself) against her record. This "dentist" cares NOTHING about patients. I presented there that day with emergency tooth pain. I indicated this several times verbally and in writing on their forms. I also indicated three times on their forms, which medication I'm allergic to. Dentist Ospina gave me every indication that a patient's chart/information is not worth paying any attention. So I was surprised when Ospina entered the room (with no introduction), and asked "How are you doing?" "Do you have any allergies?" OK, maybe Ospina was just confirming, right? Fair enough. But then my nameless "dentist" asked twice: "So what can we do for you today?" I then repeated my problem for the fourth time, asking Ospina if she'd seen the X-Ray, taken just a few minutes before by Victoria. Victoria told me that she works as the Office Manager, Radiation Tech, and Dental Assistant. Ospina replied immediately that: "You mean the implant?". Perplexed, I said: "No, the tooth right next to the implant." Ospina then began yelling to someone (perhaps in Spanish, I'm not sure as I did not understand her words). I was hoping that Ospina was ordering a new X-Ray, but she said nothing to me at all about X-Rays or anything else. Ospina then came over to the table I lay on, wielding a small instrument with a three or four-inch handle and cylinder-shaped end bent at a right angle to the handle. Even though I thought it might be used to view my tooth from inside my mouth, I asked Ospina nicely and clearly, not to touch the tooth yet, as it was extremely sensitive. The "dentist" ignored my request and tried to test the tooth anyway; grabbing then nudging it with her finger. The extreme pain seared through my head, causing me to yell out uncontrollably. Ospina immediately looked at me with a severe and disdainful expression and said: "What's wrong with you? Why are you yelling like this?" "You have no reason to yell like this." I said: "I asked you not to touch it yet." Ospina said "Don't argue with me" twice. I immediately responded with: "Don't argue with your patients". Ospina said: twice: "You're aggressive. This isn't going to work"..She then left the room. And my tooth hurts more now than it did prior to presenting to this careless "dentist". As I exited the exam room, Victoria (who must have heard what was going on, approached me and began apologizing profusely. She continued apologizing even after we spoke again at the front desk. Such horrible, potentially harmful, insensitive, and unprofessional treatment of a patient is intolerable. Ospina's license should be pulled IMMEDIATELY. read more

The dental hygienist doesn't speak English when my visit was over the last text me to tell me sit and wait for someone to come get me which took 15 min. What do you mean I can't leave. The dentist told me to get my wisdom teeth pulled even though they aren't causing any problems. I asked why his response was when you get older it'll take longer to heal. I hung up and call right back and was put on hold another 6 minutes....No one ever came back to the phone both times. I was seen by Doctor Cullen. The visit was pleasant as I am severely traumatized from a childhood dental experience. The visit was quick and painless. The only issue I have is with the filling and cleaning process. Deep cleanings have to be done in Quadrants which is time consuming. Fillings are accompanied with some substance used for sensitivity, which sounds unnecessary. Overall nice office. read more

Worst dentist experience I've had. Thank god I didn't let them do anything serious to my teeth. The dental assistant that cleaned my teeth was dropping tools on my face, spraying polish all over my face and clothes (far past the bib they put on you), regularly catching my lips and gums with the polishing tool, and couldn't really communicate with English speaking patients (kind of crucial in the medical world). The dentist that looked at my X-rays told me I had one cavity. I declined to schedule an appointment to get it filled with them because of my experience. After this experience I called the last dentist I visited before regency dental and they looked at my X-rays and told me I actually have 2 cavities... this validated my suspicions about regency dental. I mean, the dentist couldn't even read my X-rays. So I'm going back to my old dentist even though it's going to cost hundreds of dollars more to get the cavities filled outside of my provider network. Unless this is the only provider in town on your health insurance plan (like me) I would recommend going ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

Didn't uphold our appointments. Family of three and we arrived 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork etc. and ensure we met our appointment time. We watched others come and go those before us and those that came in after us. I asked about it and was told it was by appointment. Then I was told it was in the order you came into the office. After an hour and 20 minutes AFTER our appointment for a total of 1 1/2 hours I said something and they just really didn't care. If you don't care I don't care. We left. Just be forewarned. The rest of the staff needs to be trained on customer service, or they should be sweeping and doing janitorial work not dealing with customers at all! Unprofessional and unethical. My wife went for a periodontics appointment early last October 2019. They supposedly did a deep cleaning on all four quadrants of her mouth. Normally this can be a couple of hours, even for two quadrants, then go back and do other two. Well, Greenbergs did all four in 45 minutes. I questioned this, but then dropped it. When I saw we paid $700+ I wondered. I called them, but they never returned the call. On top of this, my wife said that the office was dirty, the assistant didn't know how to operate the x-ray machine, and they were talking all over my wife. My wife had given them her dental insurance card, so I assumed we would get over $600 back, after figuring out the deductible. Nothing. I called the insurer to be sure I understood who had to do what. They told me that Greenbergs should have sent the claim form. I called Greenbergs again, left a message--nothing. I went back to the insurer a few times. They followed up with Greenbergs in December, January. I sent the insurer copies of the all the papers of the visit. A few months later I called the insurer and still nothing from Greenbergs. In our last email they suggested I call Greenbergs again. It's now mid-August 2020 and just called Greenbergs again. I wish I could give zero stars!!! It was by far the worst dental experience I had and probably will ever have. I don't think they are familiar with the term customer service. I didn't even get a good morning! I barely got eye contact. The dentist was just as bad he took a quick look into my 2yr old mouth (and when I say quick I mean QUICK) and told me her teeth look good. End of exam!! I brought her in for a chipped tooth n teeth pain that he didn't even mention which tells me he didn't know why we were there or he didn't care. This is meant to steer all Medicaid /Medicare patients completely clear of this practice. First of all, a "copayment," is charged that IS NOT a medicare / medicaid copayment. Simply an extra few bucks in the doctors pocket. Second of all, they are not up to date in the least about what your coverage will cover. Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars per tooth I was told I would have to pay because my Medicaid would not cover. When I mentioned the possibility of dentures, which I know my coverage would meet, I was told that once he told them he could save my teeth, I would not be allowed such. Even though I am sure it is something that is needed. I will be making an appointment with a better office. Please, when searching for a dentist that is accepting new patients over the age of 18 (something that is becoming harder and harder to find in Florida), stay clear of the Regency Square Mall Dental. I am so impressed with this place. I had a dental emergency and needed to get in right away. I went there on a Saturday at noon. The lady up front was very sweet and said that she was sure the dentist could fix it. I was taken back within 15 mins and the staff was very polite. I was fixed up and ready to go hm within an hr. I went here for the Laughing gas, as the last dentist did not have it. (And had previously spoke with my insurance who informed me it was covered) The dentist was friendly. But the front desk girl told me that it was not covered for extractions. I told her that as long as she submitted it for approval, they told me they would indeed cover it. (My tooth infection is not responding to antibiotics, and the dentist informed me numbing injections alone may not do enough) HECK YES I WANT LAUGHING GAS!!! Anyway, A week later (tooth still abcessed) I get a letter from my insurance (no call from dental office) Come to find out, MY REQUEST FOR LAUGHING GAS WAS NEVER SUBMITTED!!!!! And on top of that, they wanted me to pay an $80 copay for a gel used after extraction. My insurance deemed it "not medically necessaryfor the gel" yet the front desk said the dentist would not perform my extraction without the gel. Funny, I did a little homework and found out is was submitted under code D9630-Drugs. In dentistry it is considered a petty trick to list a procedure as seperate that a normal dentist would just include. All so they can make you pay out of pocket! I brought my son into the office a day before Thanksgiving, xrays were done. My son was in need of either an extraction or a root canal/crown. I was told that it would take up to 14 days to get an approval from his insurance company. That was fine.I had been in contact with my son insurance provider from the moment the claim had been submitted. On December the 1st 2016 I was informed that the claim had been denied because the office did not send all of the films.I talked to the office Manager and she assured me that the documents would be expedited on that same day.. I continued to correspond back and forth with my sons insurance provider, who then informed me that the office Manager had not sent in the films as stated. Victoria is her name and she has continued to point the finger instead of excepting responsibility for her mistake...My son finally was approved on 12/3/2016 and I made an appointment for 12/5/2016 at 400 We arrived at 3:50 sat there til around 430 only to be denied because she sent his films 15 minutes before me calling his insurance on this same day Several people went back before us and after taking time off work they wanted me to come back the following day...I work and had to take off from work to make the previous appointment. My son is the only one suffering and because I have had to witness his pain as a mother I became very upset. The office Manager is very unprofessional and needs to be removed for that reason alone. She has since declined the authorization and now my son will have to go through the process all over again... read more

Let me start by saying the dentist himself is wonderful. I had my first appointment with him July 6th and he discussed my X-rays and the possible things I might need. (I knew I needed at least one extraction and a couple fillings). It's such a pity that such a nice dentist and dental hygienist is saddled with such crappy office staff. The dental hygienist advised me they were sending out the required documents for an emergency extraction and that the authorization should be back by July 8th so I should call them then for scheduling if I did not hear from them first. I felt like that was pretty fast so when I didn't hear from them, I waited until July 13th to call back. After being put on hold for fifteen minutes by the woman who answered the phone, she advised me that she would call me back. She did not call me back so on July 16th, I called them again. After being placed on hold (yet again) for a lengthy amount of time, the woman told me the office had not yet received authorization from my insurance company but that it has been known to take up to two weeks. Two weeks later, I called the dentist again. The woman on the line COULD NOT FIND MY FILE and said she would call me back. After another two weeks of not receiving a call back, I called the office again. Guess what: They still could not find my file and offered to call me back when they found it, swearing up and down they would call this time. Two weeks later, I still hadn't received a call back from the office and called in again. The woman placed me on hold for fifteen minutes AGAIN before offering to call me back when she found my file. Today, September 8 (more than two months after my initial appointment), I finally gave up and called my insurance company to see what might be taking so long. The representative at my insurance company advised me the emergency extraction had been approved and the dentist office had been notified via fax on JULY 9TH (four days before my first call to them). I had my insurance fax the document to the dentist office again before calling them this time. I waited on hold for ten minutes before the woman came back onto the line and asked if she could help me. I gave her my name and birthday and explained the situation (AGAIN!!). She placed me on another ten minute hold before coming back to the line and asking my name and birthday. Her explanation for why the office had not managed to locate my file for the past two months is that the office has been busy. After another ten minute hold, she returned to the phone and let me know that the office had received the emergency extraction authorization but that only the extraction would be fully covered, not the rinse that the dentist uses to prevent dry socket. This place is horrible! If I could give them no stars, I would! Everyone who works here is completely incompetent, starting with the people who work at the front desk. We waited forever and the woman who was working at the front desk told us that we were not covered under the insurance I provided. I called the insurance company and they said coverage was active. I had the person at the insurance company talk to the woman at the front desk so she she could figure out what the problem was. They finally called us back and my daughter had a consultation for braces. They took photos, X-rays, etc and told us it could take up to 6-8 weeks to hear back from the insurance company. I waited that long and never heard anything so I reached out to them. They said they still hadn't heard anything. I have called them many times since then and have been told that the office manager would get back to me...never received a call. Today I called AGAIN and again no one can tell me anything. The customer service here is awful. 1st off they made me get a note from my obgyn saying it was ok for me to so my cleaning bc im pregnant. Then kept asking me and bringing it up about i need a note. Its in my folder which u have right in ur hand. Then i had to have my xrays from my old dentist just so they could so a cleaning. Once i finally got to the chair the actual dentist was nice but smelled like cat urine (that ammonia smell). The dental hygienist didn't even touch all of my teeth. She only scraped the front top and bottoms. Also she polished my teeth befor scraping them. That not how ive ever had my teeth cleaned before.The dentist also tried to say that she was throwing in the teeth polishing for free at no extra charge. Hello when u come for a routine cleaning the polishing is included in the price. So yes my insurence is charged and its not any extra. Worst cleaning ive ever had. read more
