I indicated I needed to get started looking and we immediately went out to the lot which featured a very large selection of used cars to look at. I sat in several and Tyler listened to my want list in my desired new car. He suggested a newer Jeep. I immediately felt the car he chose was a winner. He hit all my needs in this one. I test drove it for about 2 hours as I had some errands to run. We discussed some terms and a couple aftermarket items I wanted ( a hitch was one). I decided to drive it for the weekend and the rest is history. They were very fair in negotiating a price with me. I feel I got an excellent, like-new vehicle for a fair price! They helped me get the hitch installed, gave me a loaner for a day, and got my new car shined up and detailed to send home with me. Even a full gas tank! When I finally got it back, the check engine light came on again -- another $200 sensor.After that, I discovered the headlights didn't work properly. They lit up, but the light only reached about three feet in front of the car, making night driving unsafe. When I told the dealership, they said they had "put enough money into this car" and only paid for half of the headlight repair.On top of that, they told me they were giving me $1,000 off the price, but when I checked the paperwork, they had actually charged me $1,000 over the price.I also kept hearing a rattling noise on startup. I finally caught it on video and took it to my mechanic -- he confirmed it's the timing chain, which is a $6,200 repair at the Chevy dealership. When I brought this concern to the dealership, they told me maybe I "need a new mechanic" and said it wasn't covered.All of this happened before I even made my first car payment.
