I stopped by Cole Krum In Schoolcraft to simply begin the process of finding a newer used car. I did not even know what make or model I wanted for sure. Within a minute of stepping inside the showroom I was greeted by a friendly Tyler. I indicated I needed to get started looking and we immediately went out to the lot which featured a very large selection of used cars to look at. I sat in several and Tyler listened to my want list in my desired new car. He suggested a newer Jeep. I immediately felt the car he chose was a winner. He hit all my needs in this one. I test drove it for about 2 hours as I had some errands to run. We discussed some terms and a couple aftermarket items I wanted ( a hitch was one). I decided to drive it for the weekend and the rest is history. They were very fair in negotiating a price with me. I feel I got an excellent, like-new vehicle for a fair price! They helped me get the hitch installed, gave me a loaner for a day, and got my new car shined up and detailed to send home with me. Even a full gas tank! I couldn't be happier with the professional, courteous, and knowledgable team, and a great inventory. I left with a great car still under warranty. Great job Cole-Krum! I was sold a 2018 Chevy equinox by this dealership. When I test drove it. I was told. Nothing was wrong with it. Everything inside the car worked until a few weeks later. now it's misfiring. Absolutely would not suggest going to this They just want your$$$ read more

Bought a 2023 used certified truck 4 days after pickup it left me stranded they were NO help ! called Drew the salesman he couldn't even tell me how warranty towing worked . said well if you get it towed here we can look at it. call Royal Chevy in coldwater and got more help in 5 minutes then I got in an hour from Cole Krum. all Drew could say about being stranded was sorry to hear that, basically sucks to be you ! never even got a follow up call to check on us. Owner never called and it's been a week. Thank you Aaron and Ben from service! Tried to charge me 4k on a seal they missed while replacing a turbo. Had to bring this 4x before the situation was rectified (diagnosis, replacement, diagnosis again, fixing the seal). I was leaking 2qt a day by the time i had to bring it in again. I wrote a review on google and received a copy paste response to contact them for a resolution. When I spoke to Ben, he only offered an apology for what happened. Nothing more. This doesn't give me back the time I took off of work, the oil I bought because of your mistake, and the time I waited to have this done right. The actual owner Aaron was supposed to call a week ago. No returned call. Do not by any means do any business with this dealership. Lack of follow through, petty behavior, and a lack of accountability. Terrible experience buying a car here. When i decided not to purchase the car, was treated extremely poor by Jim Braat, salesman. Very fake nice throughout the process (but would take multiple times to get any response) until we could no longer wait for the car and purchased elsewhere. Then the hostile emails started. I had been going to this dealership for service for over three years. Oil changes and tire rotations regularly. Recently on a long trip my front brakes started grinding and had to be replaced. My regular dealership never mentioned that my brakes were getting worn. The problem I am writing about is their lack of communication. When I returned from my trip I contacted the service manager to find out why a brake job wasn't recommended. The service manager said he would look into it and get back to me. He never called back so I called him but had to leave numerous messages. I then called the general manager and left a voice mail asking him to call me. Nothing no calls from Cole Krum at all. Happy as can be. I actually ended up here totally by accident after having a terrible experience at another Chevy dealership nearby and calling Cole-Krum thinking (oops!) that it was the other one. Their used car manager was the one who answered my call, and he treated me with absolute respect, despite the fact that I was telling him all about my horrific experience as if it happened at this dealership, before we figured out that I'd actually gone to the dealership in another town close by. To make a long story short, he more than made up for the experience I'd had elsewhere, and he made the entire buying process an absolute breeze from start to finish. He connected me with Jim in new sales, and it's been the most fantastic process. Jim was very upfront with the timing around when my car would arrive, he kept me constantly updated, and he went so far as to actually deliver my car to my house and pick up my trade-in. Aaron White sold me a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu I only had it for a year and three months. My car started leaking water on the drivers side and inside of the trunk where the spare tire is while it was thunder storming outside. The car fax report DID NOT show that this vehicle had any leaking issues! I called Cole Krum Chevrolet in schoolcraft because that's where I purchased it from, I have a three year warranty and NO ONE FIXED THE PROBLEM I was told they didn't see anything leaking. I have SEVERAL VIDEOS AND PICTURES that I showed to every auto shop that I've brought my car in to see including the service center at Cole Krum Chevrolet in schoolcraft. I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT THAT SHOWS WHY I BROUGT MY CAR IN WITH THE VIDEOS BEING SAVED ON FILE OF WATER LEAKING INTO MY CAR WHILE IT RAINED. I've been trying to get this issue resolved and to see what is causing my vehicle to leak water while it's raining outside and while I'm driving but it has been a fail every time. Some auto shops told me my car could be a LEMON. The managers lied and said someone will fix it and they have not. THEY'RE VERY untrustworthy!!!!!!!! Over Christmas weekend my car had check engine light came on , we were stranded in Kalamazoo and so wait for Monday to roll around call this dealer and they got us in as soon as possible that day but thing was we go there my car sat in the bay for hour an half before going back to go get looked at. So anyway we the day before we go the car code read. They said was the turbo sensor. Okay cool we know it's we need fixed but no not the case lady we dealt with Kelsee nice lady but she should not work there don't know the hell she was talking about . So me and man are sitting there letting her talk but quote she says " I think you will be okay to drive home" . First off we told them we live across the state it's like 187 miles we have to drive to get home. She obviously could tell we were get mad so she went to get the guys out the back they cleared the engine light. My car broke down on a Thursday night and after calling over 5 different dealerships, Cole Krum was the only one willing to take me immediately. Andrea in appointments was able to get T&J towing to come pick my car up immediately and handled the whole situation so kindly. In my moments of distress, she was so calm and encouraging and really gave me support that things were going to get taken care of. The next day they call me with a diagnosis that I was indeed in need of a new transmission. I spent days researching different options at multiple dealerships and shops but no one was able to give me a deal like Cole Krum. Greg in the service department took great care of me. He answered the hundreds of questions I had and spoke to me with a lot of patience. By far the best and most amazing customer service I have ever received was from Tracy in sales. I was exploring my options of doing a trade in and she gave me the most thorough answers and treated me with the utmost respect. She was honest and I could tell that she really wanted what was best for me. Ben in service also came out to jumpstart my car and delivered a world-class customer service experience. For Cole Krum-- sales department is OK, remember.. they want to be your best friend to get your sale only. The service department I'd give a 'B'. Took my 2008 Chevy Colbat there to get the parts fixed for the recall that was out. When I dropped my car off there was nothing wrong with it, upon picking it up my check engine light was on, my air conditioning wasn't working and my right front speaker was out. When I asked about it they said they can take a look at it, come to find out while Cole Krum was in possession of my car a rodent had eaten its way threw my temperature sensor in my engine causing the AC to not work and the light to come on. They charged me $100 to discover this and then refused to do anything to fix a $300 problem that happened on their property. read more

I recently had a full service oil change done on my 2006 Chevy Silverado just before we took off for warmer temperatures in Arizona. I arrived at my home in AZ and noted the following morning a sizeable oil leak on the concrete. I crawled under to take a look and thought it was a rear main. I took it to a diesel specialist for inspection and they found the oil pan plug defective due to bad gasket. I contacted Cole Krum and told them what happened. Aaron Pearce, a General Manager there, asked me a copy of the paperwork for my repair bill from the oil leak, and, to my surprise, they sent me a check for the full amount of the repair. Not often do consumers find a dependable and honest dealership/repair facility and i am proud to say Thank You, Mr Pearce for listening to me. Called on my way home from work to ask about hours for oil change. The lady told me Monday & Wednesday till 8:00 pm & Tuesday, Thursday & Friday till 6:00 & had to be there a half hour before closing. Went tonight Wednesday 3/15/17 got there shortly after 6:00 pm and went inside the doorway of the Oil Change alley and never got acknowledged, both Technicians knew I was there. They had 3 vehicles in the bays so I just stood in the doorway and waited. Then @ 6:55 they told me they close @ 7:00. Went into the office to complain and find the Gal I spoke with on the phone. She was gone for the day. The other lady went to talk to the Technician & came back to inform me of their hours & said they would change it. The Technician was pissed so I decided to just leave as I didn't want him touching my 2017 Chevy Equinox for its first service. If I can't be treated with respect in the back door no sense in frequenting there Front door again. So much for GMs 2 Free oil changes. read more

I bought two brand new 2016 Chevy cars in the last 6 months. My first service appointment was bad to say the least. The 2016 traverse had its first oil, service and tire rotation. The car came back unclean and each tire had different amounts of air in them. Before we could go any where I had to air the tires back down to the recommendations on the tire. This made the light go off on the dash. Seems like they would see that. My second trip was today. The transmission started slipping. I called told them we run a business out of our car and we need a loaner and were very busy today. They said they had one loaner left and to come on down. So we went home cleaned out our car and went to the CAR dealer. Filled out service paper work. Went to another room filled out the loaner paper work. Then waited an hour for them to tell us they can't find the keys to their loaner. Go home we will call you later. Isn't cars their business? Huge waste of time. read more

Do not make a offer on a used vehicle here. I did not realize the sticker price is the final deal. When I offered $1000.00 under asking price I was told "I don't work for free and I'm assuming you don't either". I was also told "the LS models are not even carried on their lot. No one wants the LS models." I was looking for an LS model.... Very unprofessional. read more
