So, if you're person that is on a limited scheduled come away but if you don't like to be rushed then this might not be your place. I made an appointment for a recheck after being unable to see clearly with my new glasses, but the Optometrist, Jonathan Duong, was extremely condescending and did not want to redo the eye exam. He said that the problem was my eyes, not the prescription (?). First time hear that after 30 years of wearing glasses! I am never going back there! read more

I just wasted a whole afternoon for a appointment that I made three days ago. Most of us get 1 hour lunch, so my big thing is making sure I have time to spend on the appointment. I was told 15 to 20 minutes, perfect. I make the appointment for 1:30 pm, only because my lunch doesn't start until 1 pm. When I arrive I let the receptionist know I was there for my appointment. She gives me another persons name, no, I'm so an so. She said your appointment was for 1 pm. How could this be, this is obviously a mistake. She (I believe her name is Denise) didn't even bat an eye, no apologies, nothing. I asked if I could be seen even though there is a misunderstanding and was told no. The next appointment was for 3 pm. Shocked and still pissed off that I do not have a appointment, I said I would schedule my appointment somewhere else. And walked off. Definitely not coming back to this place. But it's in a Costco, they obviously don't care. read more

I was very impressed with Dr. Smet and with the assistant who used four different machines to check my eyes prior to the exam. One machine took a picture of the inside of my eyes, therefore eliminating the need for dilation (which is always uncomfortable). I like Dr. Smet better than other optometrists I have seen because she explained what was causing my eye infection, gave me a cleaner to fix the problem, and she said I didn't need new gas permeable contacts. The exam was thorough, and everything was explained. The price of new glasses was a little over $200, and the exam price was very reasonable. I will be seeing her every year instead of my previous optometrist. read more

I have never had my eyes examined before and wanted to see where I was whether I needed glasses. The receptionist and doctor were very kind and professional. There was a pre-diagnostic tests in the beginning before seeing the Doctor. Dr. Smet did a few more tests to check my clarity and discussed my results and options for prescription glasses/contact lenses. Overall, very fast and simple visit that was very informative. I was told that my eye sight was good and if I needed glasses for looking at the monitor too long at work or for studying then I can come back for a pair. **** I LOVE THIS OFFICE **** I came in today and boy was this office busy . I was able to call in the morning and get an appointment in the afternoon. As busy as they were, they were able to get everyone in on time and provided great service without the feeling of being rushed or short. I was happy with the service today (like always). I was down to my last pair of contacts and i really needed to get my prescription updated. I've been getting my eyes examined by this office since Cypress Costco first open back in 2005. I've had the pleasure of meeting both doctors here and I love the service. The staff is friendly and very accommodating when it came to scheduling appointments or simply fitting me in for a walk-in. They're quick and efficient. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The best part is, they're open 7 days a week. I always tell my friends to come here for their eye exams and YES, they're licensed optometrist. The prices for exams are also reasonable. I only pay $90 for my contact lens exam compared to $150+ at my previous eye doctor. I get the same service (if not, BETTER) for a cheaper price. read more

My son went for contact fitting. Included is a trial pair of contacts. It took almost 6 weeks for his contacts to come in when it was supposed to take 7-10 days. I called after 2 weeks, and I think they never ordered them. Then they offered him a pair that weren't his prescription but he could wear them. He wanted to wait for the real pair. When they came in, no one called to let me know. They were not very apologetic about it and made me feel like I was being unreasonable. We saw someone other than Regine Smet. read more
