If you need to serve anyone I personally can recommend this place! I had to hire them because the person trying to buy my home did not want to refund me my deposit due to me. He evaded being served big time. They were able to find his real work address and serve him. It took 7 days but we'll worth the wait. I can't thank them enough. They work hard for their money. And they show proof to the court so you don't have to go there again till your court date. They email you the receipt and proof before your court date. Too awesome. They are the BEST! read more

The only good thing I can say regarding RPS is that they pick up the phone. Takes forever to receive a report of non-service from them, they don't call back when they say they will, and I'm not completely certain they were really trying to serve the person in question. Got a postcard in the mail from them after I filed my small claims case with the court. Called and was quoted $65.00 to do the service and told that I could bring the paperwork and payment to their office in downtown Riverside. Fought through afternoon traffic and got to their office about 3:30pm and it's closed and locked. Call the guy and he says "Sorry but I had to do an emergency service and I won't be back for a few hours. You can leave everything with the people in the office across the hall. I go back up to the second floor and that office is closed and locked as well. What a lame and unprofessional business! Found another server who charged me $35.00 and did it the very next day. I hate having to have to write a negative review. But people MUST be made aware of when a business destroys its public trust. ESPECIALLY when it involves court documents! I had to serve some people for small claims court and needed a process server to do this. They were out of town in Riverside. I researched a bunch and located RPS in Riverside. The person named Gary was the server. He seemed VERY professional. He returned emails with notice to respond that I got his emails. He got the service done. Consequently I won the court case. After the required waiting time, I looked at several companies that would be willing to go after the losing party to collect the money I was owed. I called RPS again to see if they could do that also. HE SAID HE COULD AND WOULD. He had me email all the paperwork and decision to him. I did so immediately. He told me he would email the paperwork back in a few days for me to sign and send to my local court. I waited for several days... and nothing came. I called him and he said he sent it. But, it was not the truth. I have no spam folder. I checked the email addresses carefully and resent them. He again said that he would do it shortly... 4 weeks passed. I called again and he then told me his computer had a virus and it would take a couple of weeks and that he WOULD take care of it. 2 weeks passed and nothing. I called and he said he would send it tomorrow. I waited 2 days and called and he said he got home late and didn't do it... Which makes me laugh a bit, because originally he had said he sent it to me... so why would he have to do it now? Now this server has decided to just abandon me. He never filed or followed up... and even stopped taking my calls. I have NEVER been rude.... I have never so much as raised the tone of my voice. This person wasted over 2 months of my life... created pain and anguish over an already sickening situation... and never followed through with the things he promised to do. I don't have any clue as to WHY a business with such responsibility could mislead a customer who has used his services more than once. I left a message on his phone the day before stating I would YELP this. He had one day to respond... and again ignored me. The next day.. He came back to life.. started to act responsibly.. sent me forms...THE WRONG FORMS.... I corrected him... he sent me the right forms... then totally vanished again. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!! Hired them twice within a month for separate cases & both services were successful. One case even involved two parties (same residence), which can be complicated... but all was taken care of by Rps. Replied to emails about confirmation of svc whenever I contacted. I'll be returning. read more

I only give this business one star because there is no lower option. Please, folks: there must be process servers in his business area that are more professional, more caring, and more responsive than this one. This apparently one-person office, masquerading as more, has had my paperwork since early February, and to his credit the paperwork appears to have been served - based mostly on having heard so from the defendant. My hearing date is rapidly approaching, and trying to get a copy of the service has been exasperating. Despite repeated calls resulting in promises to "get my secretary to take care of it right away" (indications are there is no secretary, only himself), this owner failed, every time, to perform and deliver the promised copy - as well as failed to file it with the proper court when he said he would. While I did succeed in getting my paperwork by abruptly showing up at his office (without undue unpleasantry by me), there is no legitimate reason this man couldn't have been square with me from the get-go, and simply drop a copy in the mail, or fax it as he kept promising to do. It obviously does not seem to matter to him, and blowing people off is a matter of routine to him. His attitude couldn't have been more uncaring. His unkempt appearance, abrupt manner, and shambles of an office only served to confirm that to be true in a very broad context. Don't do me a favor, do one for yourself. Don't use this business, even if it is a last resort. Others deserve your money more. read more

DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!! If I could give this "company" zero stars I would. I'm a lawyer and I hired Gary to serve an Unlawful Detainer Summons/Complaint on two tenants. I kept calling for an update and was told the process server was working on it. ONE MONTH LATER I called demanding to know what the heck was going on and he told me he was waiting for the process server to fill out a proof of service. I knew that I had to wait at least 15 days before I needed the proof of service so I believed Gary would send the proof in a timely manner. Wrong!! A week after I needed the proof I if to call him at least four times and he would lie and tell me that he emailed it or mailed it. Finally I had to leave the worst voicemail ever demanding I received the proof of service the next day. He miraculously emailed the proof the next morning. Meanwhile, my clients were losing money daily. I also sent the landlord's agent to his office. He was just as nonchalant as possible. His office was filthy and he placed the blame on everything else except himself. I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism. I almost reported him to the County Recorder's Office. Do yourself a favor and hire a legit process server. read more

Gave RPS a shot. He couldn't deliver. Paid a extra fee to get more information ... Got nothing . I did more digging myself for free and got it done . Hired another company and the person was served . Paid over 100$ for nothing . Literally called him every week to see how my case was going and it wasn't going no where..... Had to refile paper work at court and repay for someone else to do the job. read more

My experience with the man that works to fraudulently receive his income at RPS in Riverside was horrible. I went to court to counter-file falsified documents that were forged as well as inaccurate towards me. Once I was there, I was told there was nothing the courts could do for me due to the fact that the filer had already processed all documents and the case was now closed. I was told the system indicates that I was already served 1 month prior by the process server at RPS. I was give, by the court clerk, a copy of the service he claimed to have handed to me, in my hand, at 9:55 pm at my residence. I never received anything. The fact that #. I have a security gate on my door that outsiders cannot see in to know who I am. #2. I am a woman, I would not open any door for a strange man, especially at 9:55pm. #3. My doorbell was out of order making it impossible for me to know anyone was there unless I was aware in advance of them coming. I have never seen the man from RPS claimed to have had actual contact with me. Because of his dishonesty, I've lost a battle that causes my kids to harshly suffer from as well. Now I have to start all over. I am now going to win the war, but I have to lose money and time, as well as continued suffering for my family until it's all done. I can't believe RPS is sworn to be truthful and honor the law while actually deceiving and dishonoring the promise he swore to withhold. His bond should be broken..... This one man band "company" is a scam. I am willing to humiliate myself to expose this. Yes, I sadly hired this "company" aka "process server" aka RPS twice!! I apparently am an idiot. The first time, the "owner", who claims on his website to be proficient in serving, filed the papers late and didn't get me a copy in time. Luckily the court let us slide by. The second time (double the price), RPS (really one guy) said they were doing personal service on two defendants. I was told in writing it would be attempted three times within 72 hours. I called a week later....no return phone call. I emailed...no return emails. Finally I got the one guy that works for RPS and he claimed my emails "went to spam" which is why he didn't reply. When I asked about the unanswered phone calls he claimed, "he never got them". Two days before the expiration, he is calling me asking me what the defendant looks like. I mean this guy was less than worthless. Now, I have to contact my credit card company to dispute the $158.00 as he refuses to refund my money. The most unprofessional company I have had the misfortune of dealing with. AVOID THIS SCAMMER! read more
