However, during my appointment, it became clear that this was her first time doing a full-body wax. I was charged $105 for only my two arms and half of my stomach, yet the waxing was not done properly, as there is still hair left in multiple areas. In addition, I was left bruised. read more

There was a girl that did a really good job here , not sure what her name is but the new girl did not do a good job . She left my eye brows too thin. No shape. I'm ver unsatisfied with the way my eye brows came out. And when I told her that the eyebrows were a little too thin for me, she said well that's how your eyebrows are like. No, they're not. I understand. I had a few bald spots, but there was no need for her to take out that much eyebrow hair she could've just shaped it. I don't think she knows what she's doing. read more

Stopped in here on whim, Renu was awesome. I'm a veteran at being threaded and I can't stand it when I go somewhere new and they go overly slow, it feels like torture lol. I like them be firm and fast Renu did a great job, was detailed but not passive. Shop was clean and organized. I will be coming back for sure! Many of the complaints surround pricing, $10 is very fair for this service in my opinion. read more

This was my go-to spot when I was in college at UCR a decade ago. Not only was it only $5 but they always did a good job. However, I went last weekend when I was in town and it was only $9, the cheapest I've seen anywhere in years. But you really get what you pay for. The woman who did my threading was not detail oriented. I had to request that she fix multiple areas, multiple times. I was finally over it. It was "good enough" so I let her know to stop. She stared at me for a second and I asked her if she was going to apply some sort of soothing oil or lotion, in which she did, but only after I asked..it was strange. It's now been a week and my eyebrows are already growing in; it usually takes a couple weeks for my hairs to noticeably grow back in after a threading. I won't be returning and would rather pay a little more for a better job elsewhere. But if you're on a budget, it's not too bad. read more

I went here only to get my lip and chin threaded and the lady charged me 15$. Even though according to their pricing it should have cost me12$. And she also asked me if I wanted to tip. They need to update their pricing or not try to rip people off. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. I wish I can give zero stars. read more

I use to go here every month (for a little over ten years) to get my eyebrows done by Reha. She always knew exactly what to do and she was always so so so nice. Since her departure from this establishment (it's obvious she did not just go on vacation like the current ladies said) it has not been the same. When the new ladies started it was obvious that they did not have the skills that Reha had. I have retuned about three more times and they have improved, but still not there. They have remodeled and it does look nice, seating is comfy and feels cool. However, just as there was good change there is also some bad in MY OPINION. In certain occasions ( I've gone in with family members apart from the times I've gone by myself) the ladies have came off as rude. I have a Spanish speaking nephew, he went in for his eyebrows and when it was time for him to hold his eyelid, he did not understand and my sister saw her make an ugly face expression. I believe it is important for the business to keep in mind that it is in a community with people from all backgrounds. They have raised the prices twice this year and they charge .50 cents if you're paying with card. On top of that they have the audacity to ask if you'd like to leave a tip, if you say no they show some attitude. The older lady also gets distracted sometimes and you can physically feel a little more tugging when she pulls. read more

I started getting my brows done without an arch and Reha did a great job. She told me to grow out the hair more and come back so she could train it. So I did. And when I recently went back, told her I wanted a straight trim with any arch, she didn't do that. I told her at the beginning and during the threading something felt off so I said it again and she confirmed. But when she gave me a mirror, there was the arch and thinned out ends. All my growth was gone. So upsetting. :/ read more

I have been going here for years. But a few months back she completely messed up my brows. She trimmed them without asking, she did them too far apart. I left and noticed how bad they were in the car and cried all the way home. I called back to ask if I can get a refund and she tried telling me that my eyebrows were always like that and she did the best she could with what she was given. Literally no one has touched my eyebrows but her... clearly she's always in a rush and or on the phone while doing your brows so unless you want someone to completely focus on you and take their time to do a good job, I suggest going elsewhere. read more

Waiting for the hubby to finish work, I'm sitting at the library here reading my book. When at the corner of my eye, I see $2.99 eyebrow threading! What luck, I've been dying to thread my eyebrows for months. I walk on in and Reha herself threaded my eyebrows. She took real care to make sure that they were well shaped and that they would grow back the correct way. She fussed a lot over me, and that was wonderful because I've gotten my brows done so many times, and not many ladies cared. But Reha did. I didn't even get red or break out in pimples like I usually do. She was so happy to work with me and make me look fabulous. And all for $3!!!! Seriously.
