I like Dazzle Me. They're conveniently located on Main St in downtown riverside, very walkable if you live nearby or are staying at a hotel. I've gotten several manis&pedis from here, been happy with everything. They just recently got tons of new colors to choose from - which is amazing because before, most of their color options were kinda transparent and not my favorite. They have a solid selection now! They allow walk-ins, but I recommend calling ahead to see how busy they are and when a good time to show up would be. read more

Walked-in for a Pedicure, young girl "who's turn it was" was pleasant enough but not warm or interactive; water was cold, her touch was very gentle but didn't know much about massage and had never done a hot stone before - had to cancel that part - knew it would be disappointing. It accomplished getting my toe nails polished but was not offered any beverage. Watched one girl doing her own nails and two others Learning how to clean instruments. There's no pressure to upscale on treatments, the vibe is relaxed and I feel like I'm treated like a human being. I pay $120-145 for my services and tip her $25-30. Just out of the hard work she puts in on my calloused heels. Parking is tough on weekends it's in the walkway by the Mission Inn, so prepare to get there early if you want to find a decent spot! read more

I stumbled upon Dazzle Me as I was walking by on my way to dinner. I returned the following evening to have my dip removed and a regular manicure. My nails were outgrown from getting dip over five weeks ago and they were all different lengths and breaking. I was surprised to find out that the salon has only been open for three weeks after their recent renovation. For the dip removal, I was not expecting to have half of my fingers placed in an acetone soak. I did not like that at all. I am used to have the technician grab little cotton balls soaked with acetone and then place on top of my nail then wrapped my finger tip with tin foil. Plus I had to scrub the acetone myself. Me having to work for a polish removal and paying someone is not what I expected. Seeing practically my entire hand turn white and dry out from the chemicals was not fun. The chemicals were also getting me a headache. The dip removal cost only $7. I had the owner Tanya working on me. Tanya then passed me off to Nam. I got the regular manicure which cost $35. The "cuticle grooming" was nice. There was no way that I could do that myself. I like that all if the excess dry skin around my nail was removed. The hand massage was way too short. I would have liked the massage last longer than two minutes on each hand. I wanted my nails to breathe so I opted to have no nail polish applied even though Nam was trying hard to sell me on various colors and products. Did I get my money's worth. . . Probably not. Was I happy with my experience? Kind of. Would I return? . . . I am undecided read more

They take walk-ins, the technicians are nice, they accept card, they have cute color choices, and it's not too loud or crowded. My first experience with a French tip gel pedi was 5 stars for quality, care, and timeliness. My second experience with a basic gel mani... getting cut is such a big no no for me when going to such an established shop. The lady that did my toes great services & friendly! until I was getting my nails done by a different lady. She said she was finished but my nails were see through and wasn't fully painted on the sides & also crooked. I asked if she can do another layer of nail polish & tried to show her where. She didn't say anything and she just rushed over it and I still had missing spots that weren't painted over when she was done. She didn't ask if I liked it or if I was happy with that & before I could ask her to fix anything else she just put everything away and said I was done. I usually don't complain but for a nail salon my hopes were high just for them to look like I got them done at someone house. read more

Thank goodness I found this place I am new to lash extensions and I had horrible ones, come to find out they were cluster lashes with too much glue , DAZZLE Me and JADE, SAVED my lashes I now still have own lashes, I was so worried they would be destroyed. Terrible. I wasn't sure what to expect since I received a call 2 hours before my appointment asking if I could come in an hour later then another call 10 minutes later asking if I could come in right then and there. I decided to accommodate the shop and go anyways. I shouldn't have. I asked what kind of glue was being used to apply the lashes and none of the techs knew. I needed to know if they were latex free. They went with a sensitive adhesive since they didn't know. I asked for a medium natural set but was told I didn't have enough lashes for natural and they would be applying a 40 volume instead. After being on the table an hour and half I was excited to see the finished product. At first I couldn't really see. The corners of my eyes were stuck together. There were a few lashes glued to my bottom lids. Once the tech finished cleaning those up my lashes look decent. I go to pay and they were running a promotion half off services. I already paid a $25 deposit and was charged another $57 dollars. My tech rung me up and was apprehensive about it since the receptionist was on lunch. Off I go instructions in hand. The card say no sweat, water, etc for 24 hours but my tech told me 48 hours. I live 30 minutes away. Before I got home I had at least 4 lashes stuck in my eyes. When I arrived home I immediately took a nap. Once I woke up from my nap I felt a few more lashes hanging on for dear life. Well I followed directions to the tee for no reason. Four days later and I have lost half the set on my right eye and the left is getting there. It seems like every time I blink I lose a lash. They gave me a brush for my lashes and even when I brush they come out. Don't know if it's the glue but I won't be back. They said return in a few weeks for a fill but at this rate I'm going to need a whole new set. I am super disappointed considering my friend raved about this place. Well she raved about the one in Moreno Valley. Obviously they are not the same. Maybe it was glue, maybe it was the tech but I should have known better when I didn't see any reviews on Yelp. There are reviews on google but the shop is also offering a $100 Amazon card to leave a review on google. read more

The place is clean and up to date w modern decor. The receptionist was so nice and dressed so cute. I do like that the estheticians do not rush your service: they could be an hour behind and still take their time on you (which I love). I was a tad late to my appointment and they were able to work with me and fit me right in. The reason I'm giving this salon 2 stars is because the girl at the desk was so nice I wanted to take her with me to get her away from the awful tech that started my pedicure. Here's the story......... This afternoon I wanted to get a pedicure. I went to Dazzle Me Nails Lounge because it is very close and in days when it's not 96 degrees and easy walk. They have a sign out front "walk ins welcome". I walked in and it the girl at the desk, the nail tech and me. I let the girl at the desk know what I want and she tells the tech. 10 minutes later the tech hasn't come out so the other girl starts the water in the tub. I go and sit down. The water isn't very warm, I let them know and put my feet in. The desk girl tells the tech how she could make it warmer and nothing is done. The tech starts the pedicure after my feet have been in about 2 minutes. . Says to me if it hurts, let me know. And I did more than once. She says to me "your cuticles are very thick". I respond with my feet weren't in long enough to soften them. A few minutes later she is done pushing the cuticles back and asks me "did you want me to trim the cuticles?" I respond with "isn't that what you do?" She responds with "well aren't you entitled" in a snarky tone. At that point I said I was done as I wasn't going to have her tell me I was entitled when I ask a question and I was leaving. I let the desk girl know why I was leaving and the tech, from down at the other end of the room is yelling at me. The desk girl was beside herself and apologizing profusely. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon anywhere and don't plan to go back there. It's too bad as it's so close to home. Hope no one else has to experience this from any nail tech and if that's who they employ, I won't support them. read more
