I gave it another shot. My brows are currently in working progress so I know not to hope for perfection. The demeanor of the person that did my brows has been tenfolds more pleasant and welcoming than before. I cut my own hair as well as my friends, and Edwin gave me the best cut I've had in Chicago so far. He listened to my preferences and cut perfectly, exactly as I wanted. I work in the area and Rehab was suggested to me by a friend. I got to my appointment about ten mine early and my stylist was not there. In fact there was no one there. I was greeted and told to wait and that was it. The woman working took someone in the back and i sat out front for ten minutes alone. My stylist was ten or fifteen minutes late and came in right when I was going to walk out. Which I probably should have done. He washed my hair with cold water, basically scolded me for the way my hair was, tried to sell me on getting color and cut way too much off. He basically didnt listen to me at all and I will not be going back there again. The salon still looks super unfinished and I went there out of a recommendation which turned out to be a bad one. read more

So...my eyebrow lady whom I have been faithful to for years decided to go to India and didn't notify any customers. I of course, having the bushy eyebrows that I have and being the pickiest gal---I totally FREAKED! Eyebrows are serious business, the wrong person can make you or break you, trust me, I have been there. I asked my aunt (who is also very particular about her eyebrows) and she recommended Tanya from Rehab Salon. So, I went --parking was awesome, the salon is open until 8pm, it is super clean and smells good. I got my eyebrows threaded and they look amazing! Feel beautiful all over again. Sigh* Tanya is better than my farewell Indian lady. She takes her time on each side to acheive perfection and believe me she does. Price: only $7--a steal! She is such a sweetheart. If you are looking for someone to shape your eyebrows nicely, take their time and not leave your eyebrows so thin that you will need a sharpie--Tanya is your lady! She is awesome! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Tanya was not there....I had scheduled an appt with the girl replacing her not sure what her name is...I go there a few min before my appt and shes like 'oh I thought you're appt was an hour ago'. I know that's not true because I knew I wasnt getting off work by that time. I think she overbooked and tried to make up an excuse. I asked if I should come back at a later time and she said I can take you in 30 min - I said okay...however by the time that rolled around she had other clients and asked me to come in at a later time.... Pissed off is an understatement...if you already know how many ppl you have waiting on you - how hard is it to do the math? I suggested to come in at a later time from the getgo. I have a full time job and two kids wasting 30-40 min of my time is like wasting days read more

Tania is phenomenal. I am a stylist but work out in the suburbs. I have had some TERRIBLE experiences with my thick unruly brows. I've seen the salon (catchy name lol) but never thought to go in until I found the reviews on yelp. I went in today and the customer service sucks but I got in w Tania and I have to say she did a fantastic, quick and painless job... So I let her do my lip. Painless. she's a master at threading! I went here today to clean up my eyebrows at around noon. I've never been here before and they didn't have their own website so to be on the safe side I called them the day before to make an appointment. Atmosphere: Very clean and spacious with good lighting. It wasn't very busy. There was only one worker (who I'm assuming was Edwin based on the other reviews here. He didn't introduce himself) and one customer when I walked in. Experience: Edwin did a good and quick job on my brows. My eyebrows were nicely shaped and neat, however it was not the most painless threading experience that I've had (but it wasn't any crazy pain, just some pinching here and there). When I went home I realized that I got a very small nick above my left lid, but I can easily cover it up with makeup. Overall, I'm mostly satisfied. I might come back here again to see how Tania/Tanya would do my eyebrows. read more

Went for an emergency brazilian here. My reasons for only three stars are as follows: 1. Tanya the esthetician was very nice, but they don't have a receptionist so she picked up the phone in the treatment room while I was mid wax...hmm,.... 2. Her wax temperature was a little hot 3. She waxed my nethers with no gloves on, still pondering how I feel about that one. Otherwise, the wax was quick and she really was very nice and $30 for a brazilian is not bad AT ALL read more

The threading and the waxing is phenomenal. I have super-sensitive skin, so a lot of times waxing leaves me very red and puffy, and usually with breakouts as well. She did a great job waxing and threading, the place is very clean and nice, and I cannot believe how inexpensive everything was compared to other places in the area. Plus, my skin reacted very well. Edwin is a rare find - he does an absolute amazing job and I couldn't think of ever going anywhere else for a haircut. The straight razor at the end of the haircut is a great touch, he's very affordable and very accommodating. Edwin is amazing!!!!!!!!! I went to him for his services about once every 2 weeks. He is very friendly and completed my hair and makeup eyebrows very quickly! I left his salon each time feeling fabulous!!! I wouldn't get off work til late in Deerfield, so I traveled an hour to go see him and it was always worth it. Today was the second time going here for a keratin treatment. Edwin and Tania were both very pleasant and personable. Very clean place. The treatment I had done left my hair smooth with no frizz. Normally it takes me 45 minutes to blow dry and flat iron my hair, and I still do not get the results that this treatment left. Now with the keratin treatment I can do my hair in 12 minutes !! I can step out in the rain and my hair will not frizz and not curl! Also, they charge more than half the price of other places ! I definitely will be a lifelong client and will refer others. read more

I have been going to Rehab Salon for the last 7 years. I see both Tanya and Edwin (the owners). Tanya takes care of my eyebrows and bikini wax and Edwin does Keratin treatments for me. The Salon is EXTREMELY clean and well kept. Tanya is very hygienic in how she handles the wax (regular customers get their own wax). She is so sweet and pleasant and does a great job. Edwin is so meticulous in how he does/applies the keratin treatments that he makes a treatment that normally lasts 3 months, last 5 months on me. He is also very reasonably priced considering the time involved in keratin treatments. I would highly recommend him for Keratin. Also, if you are ever looking for a professional blow dry, he is awesome at those too. I highly recommend this salon. read more

$30 Brazilian Wax....all the time! Crazy, right? It was an okay experience because I think you get what you pay for. She wasn't very sympathetic to my pain (my arms were shaking and feeling the throbbing in my head) and double dipped with the applicator. That seemed kind of shady, but the salon and the room were very clean. She did a very fast job...pretty quick and dirty. If you're strapped for cash, but need to freshen up, this is a decent alternative to those $80 waxes.... read more

I was a client of Tonya's (the owner) when she worked at another salon and I stayed with her when she opened Rehab. Her prices are awesome and she works quickly to get you through the various waxing services that we ladies put ourselves through in a professional and comfortable manner. She always accomodates my schedule too and has stayed open late to take my appointments when I couldn't get there earlier. She is really great to her clients.
