I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. The host and his staff were extremely hospitable and friendly. The house is gorgeous and clean. 2 blocks from the beach and within walking distance from everything. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for 3 nights after the 4th of July weekend. As other reviewers have said, the house and grounds are beautiful, the inkeepers are very welcoming and hospitable, Rambo the chihuahua is the sweetest ever, and the location of the house is awesome (on a quiet side street but still close to everything). The rates for the rooms are amazing for what you get - especially in season! Just one suggestion (not a deal breaker by any means!) - have a Keurig in the guest kitchenette area instead of the big carafes of coffee. Since breakfast isn't until 8am, us early risers would like to have the option to have a fresh cup of coffee instead of walking to Dunkin Donuts. Steve, Tom, and Rambo - thanks for a fantastic 3 days. We'll see you again!

My friends and I checked in the first week of August and stayed until Thursday. The house is beautiful, clean, updated and most importantly filled with a beautiful scent of maple when you first walk in. The bedrooms are nice, complete with a tv and mini fridge. The rooms have nice size dressers and comfortable pillows and comforters. The front porch and the rear garden are a beautiful view and very comfortable. Don't worry, no bugs! The backyard shower is also on point complete with hot water and a very nice shower and body gel to use. The innkeeper Tom was very friendly, outgoing and truly cares about your experience at the house. The other staff are friendly, ask questions to make sure your having a good time and ensure they keep up with the service standards. The breakfast was amazing... fresh eggs, sausage, French toast, bagels, oatmeal, tea, coffee, croissants and so much more. Thank you for a great stay and we will be coming back in a few weeks!

Best vacation ever! We stayed for an entire week in mid July. The innkeepers Tom, Steve, and Rambo were wonderful, charming hosts! There was a delicious breakfast served every morning. I'm talking coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, home fries, pastries, cakes, doughnuts.... I could go on and on!!! The house is beautiful and really clean. The house itself smelled heavenly the entire stay. The deck and garden are beautiful and peaceful. My fiancé and I loved the outdoor showers in the garden. We actually never took showers inside lol. Did I mention Location! Location! Location!! We were steps away everything including the beach, boardwalk, many restaurants and shops! We never had to drive anywhere. We didn't want to leave and actually booked our next stay before we checked out lol See you guys soon! :)

This was our first bed and breakfast experience ever and it was a great one! The Rehobeth Guest House is in an excellent location! It was clean, calm and comfortable. The innkeepers were very nice and accommodating as well. We stayed on the 3rd floor in room 33. It was well decorated and has its own bathroom. The only downside was that the room was small and there wasn't much space to store things. Then again, we didn't spend much time in the room. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and admiring the lovely landscaping. We would absolutely recommend the Rehobeth Guest House and will definitely return again someday.

Tom the InnKeeper (in the middle) was a very gracious host.

My husband and I recently went for a spring break getaway. We were super excited to get out of town for a couple of days and head to the beach. We are from Baltimore, so the spring in Baltimore can be tricky, however it ended up being a fantastic day for a drive over the bay bridge. The weather was gorgeous, and ultimately our destination was equally as gorgeous. When we arrived to the Rehoboth Guest House we were greeted by, Innkeeper Tom and Arlene (I believe was her name), they both did a fantastic job in welcoming us, and showing us around the property. The place is very clean, smells good, and decorated very well. They have a small pantry where they keep tea, coffee and a microwave for the guest. The location is in the middle of everything, so you do not need to drive. We had found the Guest House through an amazing Groupon but after staying there my husband and I are already planning on going back and are convinced this is Rehoboth's best kept secret. I recommend this B&B very highly. Love this house and the staff...thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Off Season Retreat I needed to be away from home to regain my energy. In addition to hot omelette, this is how I was treated for breakfast.

I needed a space where I could regain good energy and spirit. Even from their website I felt good vibe, and yes, I was right. The space Tom created is beautiful, relaxing and clean from their bedrooms, living room to the kitchen. Also the location is great. Short walk to the beach and the heart of the shopping area of Rehoboth. Tom's food presentation for breakfast was fun and homey. The picture is how I was treated in the morning. In addition, freshly-made omelette was served. Most of all I enjoyed conversations with Tom and his people. I had a great time.

As a first timer to Rehoboth Beach, Beach View offered a great location half block from the boardwalk and many seaside attractions and nosheries. Must say that dusk and sunset are beautiful from the sand, as pastel colors mark the horizon with pinks, oranges and blues. Always a fan of the Jersey Shore (LBI), gotta say that Rehoboth is its equal, if not superior to that standard. Will return and use Beach View Hotel as our base of operations.

Not your typical fussy over-decorated B&B. Rates are ridiculously reasonable. My daughter and I went for July 4-6 and it was $70 a night for the two of us. There are no hovering hosts. In fact, you might never see your hosts. You get a parking pass when you get there, which allows you to park your car at any non-metered parking place. Most guest are returns, and tend to be an older crowd. You can talk to folks, or not; your choice. I don't even think the place advertises--no need to. Breakfast is not the standard overblown gourmet sit-down feast you associate with most b & b's. A buffet of simple breakfast breads, cereals, coffee and fruit is set up for guests to serve themselves. Most people take their breakfast onto the porch and read the paper. Alternatively, a coffee bar is about three blocks away, stocked with all the major and minor papers should you need them. Rooms are quite comfy and can fit an assortment of people; couples, families, singles. Bathrooms are shared but that's never been a problem. The place is SPOTLESS. A perfect getaway; no fuss, no muss. Oh, also a decent outside shower. Go, have fun!

We arrived close to midnight on a Thursday evening and were welcomed with open arms by the 'lady of the house.' We felt like we had walked into the house of your favorite grandmother! The rooms are tidy, as are the bathrooms, and the breakfast is modest but does the trick with fresh fruit, toast, jam and if you're lucky, homemade banana bread by the owner! While you can certainly hear people rumbling around in the morning hours as they collect their coffee it's a warm and welcoming sound unlike other experiences I've had at other B&B's. The best part is that Brinkmeyer is located literally half a block from the ocean! Park your car as soon as you arrive and never touch it again. You can walk to the beach and/or the downtown area.

Gallo Realty wanted to charge us for a scratch on the floor that they had "found" after we had left. The catch was that they had found it under a rug. No one in our group wore heels or moved furniture while we were there, so where could this scratch have come from? The scratch looks like it was caused by moving furniture, perhaps a couch or a chair, prior to placing the rug there. I understand that the floors were redone this year and I understand that we were the first tenants, but furniture obviously had to be moved back in after the floors were redone and during cleaning, whereas we didn't move the rug or a single piece of furniture aside from the dining table chairs. Be very careful if you deal with these people. Be sure to check possible hiding places, even under rugs, for any possible damage because they can and will take your deposit and demand additional payment for damages that you did not do.

The home has the most uncomfortable beds we have ever experienced; Thin, semi-springy but semi-lumpy mattresses that cause sleepless nights and back pain, with terrible old and ragged bedspreads. The furnishings were dirty, smelly and shabby. This entire week we have smelled a foul odor of feces at the end of the couch of which odor we cannot determine the precise origin. The baths have old, rigid glass doors which were treacherous for bath time. There is standing water in the bottom of both full baths that make for a dirty foot bath at the beginning of the shower experience. Every dresser, drawer, and door in the house has a loose knob. Some drawers even have missing knobs. The furniture on the front porch is great if you want to fall down on the floor. There is zero support to the cushions or frames. If you and your group have any urge to cook at home, FORGET IT! The stove burners do not consistently work so we have had to throw food in the oven to finish the cooking process or just order out. Lastly, this house is incredibly dark and there are so few working lamps in the home, not too mention the outdated electrical system that keeps shorting out the overhead lights. This house has great bones and its on ocean block to the Atlantic. Too bad the owner and prudential realty keep misleading people about this dump by calling it "timeless, vintage pine". It is timeless only to the extent that the home has NEVER BEEN UPDATED! $7,000 of investment - at a minimum - would fix mostly all of the problems noted herein and it only equates to approximately 1 and 1/2 weeks of rental income on this property. The only redeeming factors are the excellent central air conditioning, the close proximity to the end of boardwalk and beach, and the two refrigerators and ample counter-space. The owner shoud be embarrassed to rent this dingy cottage on the beach.

The hot tub isn't big but it's fine for a few people and great to have right next to the spa. The parking is free on the off season and once you're in, you can easily walk a few blocks to the beach or all around town. I hear they have a shuttle but we never needed them. The room is very big and we enjoyed the small balcony just as a feature. On a warm day you want to just enjoy snacks and a breeze I can imagine it is wonderful. We enjoyed the fireplace. The bathroom lights were a bit complicated but the tub was enormous and luxurious for a soak! The coffee nook with fridge was perfectly outfitted and great for storage. The room lights were a bit flickery but not a major issue. Paying for the higher adults only floor was WORTH IT! They keep the snacks area ready with basic chips and cookies and the cooler with sodas and water and refresh it all the time. The sitting room with its own fireplace is super cozy and you can play a card game or build legos being away from any hecticness. Plus afternoon cookies, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were not to be missed! Those were great to take as a dessert after dinner or relaxing in the room. I bet in the warmer months the outside terrace is great to enjoy for reading. The bar service was good, whether you wanted drinks or meals things came out decently in good time and well done. I think the prices are very reasonable. The area has so many great options but if you just want to stay in you'll be fine! The breakfast experience was fine- the omelet stations were good but really did take a long time. Maybe just a lack of experience. Good selection of everything and while the bakery station had a variety of scones and muffins, they weren't always fresh tasting and the fruit wasn't much a variety. They will sometimes fill up and you'll have to sit in the cold conference room rather than the cozy vestibule. So go early if you want all the best options and won't be rushed. I can imagine this place is always busy but in the off season months I absolutely recommend this to any couple or single who wants to get away- shops are still open, restaurants still active, and the beach is still refreshing!

We opted for the Garden Rooms out behind the breakfast dining rooms, where it was quiet and no children allowed. Our king bed room was a bit tight, but it was clean and cozy with plenty of hot water for the shower and no neighbors on either side of us. Fair to say, we made most of the noise. The room was made up every morning of our three night stay which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of food to go around, and even an omelet station Friday through Sunday. Nice touch. The small bar and afternoon tea was just enough to be an alternative to having to go out multiple times to pick up a cocktail or evening snack. We enjoyed the 7:30 - 10:30 morning meal and their coffee station sat on the bar for our convenience. The only slip came when the ordered omelet didn't arrive within 20+ minutes and I had to cancel the order because we needed to head out. I had a full plate anyway. I can't speak to what Bellmoor is like in season, but we found it exactly what we needed to relax, hang out in the evening and use as a base of operations as we explored more of the Rehoboth-Lewes vicinity in winter. 5 mellow well deserved stars!

Complimentary lobby coffee is available 24/7, so there are no coffee makers in the rooms. There's also a big game room with dozens of board games. They have an indoor pool and sauna, and an outdoor hot tub. Our hotel room was quite large, with a huge flatscreen TV, a work desk, a king-sized bed, a sofa, and a coffee table. The in-room Wi-Fi and the satellite TV worked great. The bath was on the smaller size, but it looked brand new. The shower had plenty of hot water and the only nitpick was maybe the pressure from the rainfall style shower head could have been a teense more forceful. We had a nice private balcony overlooking the street and their street level firepit and seating area. The overall location is great, just a very short walk to the boardwalk and beach and within hundreds of stores and restaurants. The daily breakfast was stellar -a bounty of pre-made omelets, Sausages, Baked pears, Cereals, Oatmeal (with mix- ins like nuts, chocolate, granola, seeds, coconut), Pastries, whole and cut fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, hash browns, and ham slices. Our off-season rate was a little over $100 a night, quite a good deal for the hotel's luxury and services. Guest service was excellent at every encounter we had.
