So when I booked my own trip to Rehoboth for the first time with my girlfriend, RGH was definitely on my radar. Imagine my surprise when the rooms were incredibly reasonably priced -- far better than any other hotel around. Throughout our stay, everything was so wonderfully handled. The staff was incredibly nice and personable, our room was cute and comfy (with really powerful AC, YAY!), and the breakfast was delicious. There are so many cute little nooks around the house to eat or hang out in. And if you're worried about sharing a bathroom, don't be -- they were so incredibly clean, and I only had to wait once. The one thing that worried me was the fact that I've mostly seen an older crowd here, but we weren't treated any differently for being younger, and of course the place is incredibly LGBTQ+-friendly. My only regret is that I didn't get to see the dog! In case you couldn't tell, I highly, highly recommend Rehoboth Guest House, and I hope I have the pleasure of staying there in the future :)

The weather was great..even with the complimentary downpour day to let the skin come off sizzle mode..just perfect. We were a large family group... family coming in from NY, NM, Ca and Germany. We pushed the limits in space but with the backyard patio area, rooftop hot tub soaking deck (special accolades to that), the ocean so close and so many places you could walk, bike, paddle to we never at all came to in your face situations... which we all know with family is usually inevitable. We wanted to do something special for our Mom (Omi) for her birthday so we took Mary Ann and Tom's referral and hired the caterer that they suggested... we did a luau theme and they came to the house with the pig roast complete with Hawaiian veges and salads. I for one was amazed that we actually surprised her but I do believe we really pulled it off. We were initially hesitant to rent because of landowners sharing the same house..but we started our search late and there weren't many options to accommodate our large group so we took the chance. Couldn't have been any farther from the fears we had to reality. Always friendly and helpful.. never intrusive or controlling. By the time we left it felt like we were leaving old friends.... the hot donuts Mary Ann brought us from an old time LBI donut shop, the morning before we left sealed the deal! Our family grew up summers in LBI..staying with friends that owned and/or our family renting for weeks at a time. I think I can speak for our family in saying we came home that week. A wonderful magical place in our memories. Lucky me got to share it with my granddaughter while my Mom (Omi) is still with us and oh so big a center of our family. 4 generations of LBI addicts.... what better place to enjoy family!

Right across from the ocean, the historic building is on a street with cute victorian inns, and when you sit on the porch you can see down the row, or stare off into the waves as you breathe in the salty air! There's quite a bit to do in the area, including different trolley tours (we did the ghost one) which are a ton of fun! Plus an awesome outdoor shopping area with some great restaurants (such as The Blue Pig). I reccomend 931 Beach House to anyone looking for a historic building that's been well preserved with adding light modern touch. A beach town with cute shops and restaurants make this a great destination for couples and families alike, and being on the smaller side keeps the inn well maintained and makes you feel special when you stay. If you're heading to Cape May, definitely check out the 931 Beach House, you won't regret it!

The bedroom balcony was huge and beautiful, affording me a panoramic view of the ocean 24/7. At night I kept the balcony door open and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean roaring across the way. Everything I needed was inside the room - kitchenette, large shower, smart tv, lamps, extra lighting, and lots of towels. The innkeeper Liza is such a beautiful person and extended herself to me beyond what I expected. I wasn't sure how to get there and she offered to pick me up from the station - so sweet. I love her! I ended up driving in but it's the thought that counts. It's not every day that people offer things they don't have to do. The beach is clean and felt really private in October. I'm sure the summer is more packed, but it can't be that bad because Cape May itself is just beautiful. There are restaurants, clothes, souvenirs and so much more to do on that strip. I can't wait to go back there.

Pros: - The location of the Inn is wonderful with a less than 2 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. - The Inn provided us with parking and beach tags. - The Inn and rooms are very well maintained and clean. - We had our own private bath, TV, and refrigerator. - Restaurants are located within a 5-15 minute walk depending on what you feel like eating. - On the day of checkout, we were allowed to keep our parking spots and beach badges for the duration of the day until we left. And there are even outside showers, you could use to clean up before sadly bidding adieu to Ocean City. Cons: - For the small room we had, the rate we paid seemed steep. But given that it is peak tourist season, it seemed to be the going rate at the other smaller motels in the area as well. - They accept check or cash only and a 50% deposit by check prior to arrival. - It's been a long time since I wrote out a check for anything, but I gladly obliged and mailed the check. Unfortunately, I made the check out to "Osborne's Inn" (which would be the obvious choice) and once we arrived, I was told the check needed to be made out to Peggy Ann Osborne. I found it strange they could not cash a check made out to the Inn. In any rate, we had to hunt down a bank and withdraw the funds to cover the deposit.

The relaxed and comfortable Victorian style decor is a delight and the Lucia apartment, where we are, is quite spacious. The efficiency kitchen is wildly well-equipped and super clean, as is the updated bathroom. There is plenty of everything like towels and pillows and storage space for clothing etc. Deanna has seen to a variety of heating/cooling options including remote controlled a/c and a remote controlled fireplace. The TV is clear and unobtrusive and the WiFi is great. Cape May, itself, is charming and historically fascinating, with something to appeal to every interest. My party of three were pretty much in agreement about what to do but I could imagine a family of five each "getting a day" and filling it with activities of their choice and still having plenty. Deanna has also catalogued an epic number of dvds and games, there are bikes available and she, herself is a wealth of information. I am putting Cape May and Antoinette's on my list of "things to do again". Have fun!!!

Stayed in: Filomena Suite - Apartment "WAS NASTY, DIRTY AND RUN DOWN!"…read more Vacationed: Checked in - Monday, September 11, 2017 Checked out Friday, September 15, 2017 Entrances The screen door at the back entrance of the apartment kept jamming and if you went outside and there was no one to open the door, you would get locked out. The dead bolt lock on the front door to the main bedroom was broken until the day before we were checking out. Main Bathroom The shower was dirty. The liner and the shower curtain had "black mold" on them. The baseboard near the shower was torn and falling apart. Kitchen There were two windows in the kitchen. Each window had a fan and the fans were being held in place with gray masking tape. The refrigerator had spills inside of it. The stovetop was dirty. The kitchen sink was dirty and had broken eggshells stuck in the edge of the sink. The base of the faucet had black mold around it. The table had a clear plastic line over a blue and white print tablecloth. They were stains and crumbs in between the liner and the tablecloth. Extension cords There was an extension cord hanging from the corner of the right side of the front porch, which was used to light a village display on the front porch. The extension cord was exposed to rain creating an electrical hazard. There were multiple extension cords hanging and or improperly exposed through out the apartment: creating a safety hazard for small children. Living Room There were two large dirty sofas in the living room and extension cords hanging from the ceiling. Allergies When we arrived we had no problems with allergies. After the first night and every night thereafter, we were coughing, sneezing, unable to sleep, had itching, tearing and burning eyes. The carpets, draperies and ceiling fans were dusty and dirty. Departure On Friday, September 15th, we asked the Innkeeper, Deanna Brown, to do a walk threw to make sure the apartment was left as we found it-what a joke! After Deanna Brown finished her walk threw of the apartment, she was standing in the living room and she said, "Well it looks like nothing has been taken!" Management The Innkeeper Deanna Brown is rude and has the personality of sandpaper. Summary I have never stayed in a vacation rental like this before: the house is nasty, dirty and is in need of major renovations. Very Dissatisfied Guest

This is an older building but the condos are very nice. The Windjammer has a private, on premises parking lot so that there are no expensive parking fees, valet tips or wasting time waiting for the car to be pulled around. The checkin process is easy and well organized. There are only three floors to this condo community, (which looks like it used to be a hotel back in the day). The condos feature ocean views and a shared porch. There is no elevator so be prepared to lug your luggage upstairs if you're not on the first floor. I have a one bedroom condo that includes a small kitchen with full sized refrigerator, microwave, oven and coffee maker making it a little easier on the pocket because I don't have to go out to eat. The condo includes dishes, silverware and linens. The condo is very similar to a studio apartment except there is a separate bedroom with a door. In the main living area, in addition to the kitchen, is a small dining area and a living room. The living area includes a sofa with a pull out bed, love seat chair, flat screen TV, and end tables. It is neat, clean and comfortable. A sliding glass door, that includes a screen so I can catch the sea breeze as well as the sound of the waves breaking, leads to the shared porch area. There are at least two closets (plenty for this one bedroom) and my condo even has some sand toys and a beach chair that guests are free to use. The grounds of the condos includes a common area with a playground for the kiddies, a porch swing and grills. All condos are no smoking, there is maid service but I have to wash my own dishes, the maids do everything else. Located off the boardwalk, the Windjammer offers a quiet respite, fabulous views at affordable rates.
