He first took the time to ask my husband what he needed, what was most important to him, and what he would be using the shoes for. Based on that conversation, he suggested several different options and explained why each might be a good fit. We ended up going with the On Cloud shoes he recommended, and they were perfect. It was honestly refreshing to work with someone who genuinely cared about helping us find the right shoe instead of just making a sale. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and we really appreciated it. They also used to have the most amazing return/exchange policy if anything did not hold up, wear well, etc at any time. I brought in a never-worn bikini top I ordered two months ago, and they would not return it OR offer store credit. They said they now have a 60-day return policy. That's fine, but just so different from their previous policy which made Athleta special. I'll also note that the employees were condescending about it. Really sad!!

I had a Patagonia nano puff jacket that was a gift a few years ago (from this location). After a fall on my bike, I tore up the elbow pretty good. To my surprise, you can manage your warranty with Patagonia right in store. I brought the jacket in, filled out a form, and they took care of the rest. They then send it out to a network of repair people and my jacket came back looking good as new. The whole process was super easy and is one of the value adds you get from shopping local.

They even offer their own house brand and local favorites like Free Fly. Plus they have a large shoe selection. Again, they offer a lot of the brands you would think of in an outdoor store, but keeping up with the trends, you'll also see Blundstones, Oofos, and Danner to name a few.
