The trails aren't lit, so you're better off coming while the sun is still out. If you walk on the backside of the soccer fields there's a small bridge,which is my favorite place to walk by. There's even small playground area with a mini rockwall at this park. Theres also a dog park in the front. The bathrooms are usually locked most times of year until it's soccer/baseball season. If you're coming from Adams Ln you can turn into the park from there, but you'll have to exit onto 130 because it's a one way. I love the proximity of this park, it's great for a post-work stroll.

It wasn't raining for a few days but I know the weather was warmer, we had some am fog. But it was a splotchy mess. They should improve there grounds. You walk on gravel surface which by the way, enters my sneakers each time. I have to shake out my sneakers. It was very muddy this time around. And after just a normal rain there are so many puddles.

He loved the opportunity to burn off some energy and play ball. The only complaint about this park which hasn't changed much is all the goose poop! I know everyone loves the other parks, but this one has a real restroom, open most of the year and a port a potty during the winter. A definite bonus with kids. Skate park. Skateboards, bicycles, scooters. No one is rude--it's rather refreshing seeing people take turns. So much for the idea from my childhood that skaters were criminals. Climbing wall. Basketball court. Jungle gyms for wee and older kids. Picnic tables. Active soccer field. Swings. One was broken last summer, removed the next day, replaced the third day. Active. It is rare that the park is ever empty. Ample parking I try to do the bars every time we visit; the kids aren't quite there yet, but there are both children's and regular bars, plus the spinny bars. 4 slides, possibly 5. Tip: if you want to take ice cream cones, scoop ice cream on to cones, put upside down into cups (the kid's cups from restaurants are perfect), then put into a purse. The kids will think you're a mad genius.

Since we are in a pandemic mode and there are not many place for outdoor dining, this park was perfect for it. I really appreciate how well of a build it is.
