They said it would be delivered on either Saturday or Sunday, then said nothing when those days came. Update to my review on 9/18/2017 - After several calls and complaints I was contacted by someone at the company and I manage to receive my car later that evening. Despite my car taking 10 days and the company telling me that this is normal, I spoke with the driver and he said that it not normal for my car to take that long to be delivered to me and it was poor logistics on the transportation company's end. Reindeer contracts your car out to be shipped to the careless drivers (UZ Auto Trans). Needless to say that my car was damaged license plate dent and deep abrasions on my bumper. I have filed a claim but based on other reviews I am sure that they will find a way to deny the claim. I'm sorry to hear of the poor experiences others have had. I was assigned Reindeer from my company's relocation services and I have no complaints. Communication was great - the Reindeer team and the local team that was hired in Los Angeles always ensured I was in the loop. The driver who picked my car up was friendly and courteous. Big shout out to the driver who drove my car across the country and through the rain in Boston using a huge shipping truck (to me, this is quite a feat to do through Boston roads/highways). He was so kind - I now wish I would have given him a bigger cash tip. I had Reindeer Auto Relocation as part of my company relocation package. 1. My car was delivered 2 weeks after pick-up, which was way over the initial estimate of one to few days. 2. When it was delivered, it was covered all over in mud. It was impossible to recognize my car, let alone do any inspection at the time. 3. Upon washing the car, it showed up quite a few scratches, that I tried to claim with Reindeer. There were some pre-existing scratches on and around the door handles, which I did not claim. I provided them clear pictures of the spots, distinguishing what was pre-existing from the new ones. But they seem adamant to label the new ones as "pre-existing", and was not willing to honor my claim at all. I know it is in their load agreement that scratches are not covered (how very convenient!). But it is a little frustrating when it happens to a car that is barely a year old. However, I find myself lucky to get away with just scratches, given some of the reviews speak of dents that also don't get compensated. I have passed this feedback to my employer's relocation coordinator. So, if there are repeats, I hope they take some action when their contract renews. read more

I'm sorry others have had bad experiences. This was the second time we used Reindeer Auto Relocation. The first was LITERALLY a cross country transport from Maryland to Oregon. This time it was a little more complicated because of 2 separate pick up locations (Eugene Oregon and Oregon City Oregon). We couldn't have asked for better customer service and communication. Sarah at the office was helpful and very informative. Serge did our two pick-ups and Alex did our drop-off. One of our family members was in Austin when the cars arrived. She commented on how professional efficient the driver was. Yes the card were dirty but we were warned of that ahead because of the changes in weather as they drove. Alex said the same thing - snow coming across country made the cars dirty. I really don't care about that as long as our vehicles arrived intact with no damages. Thank you Reindeer. I had a very bad experience with Reindeer. There has been a large dent on the roof of my Nissan Altima straight from left side to right side. My bad luck I have not noticed such a big dent until its been 2 weeks from pickup. I picked the car after 6pm (very dark) and have been using the rental car provided by my company. But by seeing the dents any one can clearly say that those dents happened in a transit. I went to two Body Shops for estimate, they voluntarily asked if that happened during a transit. When I spoke to Reindeer team they said they checked with carrier and they denied the damage. I'm finally stuck with a damage which costs around $1000 to repair. Even if they approved my claim I would have given less rating because who wants to have a dent in their car and then raise a claim and get it repaired. While I had a nightmare dealing with other brokers who at the last minute could not locate transporters to meet the quotes they locked in, Reindeer responded within hours of my call with competitive quotes and came through with highly professional drivers to get the job done- consistently on the early side of the pickup and delivery ranges they committed to. Great communication every step of the way and vehicles all arrived in the condition I left them in. Also a convenient payment process- no BS of requiring cash or cashiers check at delivery. Just horrible. I will give them negative if possible. During the time they took handover from me in WA there were no scratches reported by them in the sheet. But when they deliver the car in GA it was full of scratches and Dent in the front passenger door. They want me to take an estimate from a body shop which comes up to be more than 1000. But they are offering me 100$ for the claim amount. Unbelievable. They want me to reach out Bristol Mobility to settle the dispute who has just nothing to due with the auto relocation. We used Reindeer to relocate two vehicles from Wisconsin to Georgia. They were easy to work with and extremely professional on pick up and delivery. They were flexible with pick up and drop off times as well. The only thing that we ran into as an issue was knowing exactly when they would pick up the vehicles. They said they would give us a 2 hour window 24 hours prior to pick up, but when it came down to it, they were unable to tell us a 2 hour window. It was more like 8 hours and when they finally called to say they were on their way they only gave us a 30 min notice. It ended up working out for us and the actual move of our vehicles was awesome. read more

Worst in service, I went to this through my company to transfer my vehicle from Arkansas to Massachusetts. I could see that my right side mirror is cracked, when I asked that, the replied "if it is happens while transporting they wont reimburse since it is already part of contract signed". The cost to replace this is we have to replace whole, Honda gave me estimation for 730$. This guys wont accept it. Until nothing happened while shipping you are good else they will point it under different terms and they will reject it. Very worst company to ship your valuable car think twice before going to this. Jessica is the manager whom I was talking to, they wont attend the call if claim got reject only email response. Horrible, horrible, horrible! The bumper was torn off of the back of my car while in the care of reindeer. I was called 20 minutes prior to it being delivered and told that it was damaged. I informed them to get it fixed, but they tried to deliver it to me anyway and the driver didn't seem to know that he was supposed to be taking it to get fixed. It's been over two weeks since I last saw my car and it will be at least two more before I see it. $15,000 of damage caused by reindeer. Look elsewhere!!!!! read more

I had to use reindeer relocation as it was the vendor that was hired by my company's relocation package. The driver delivered my car with large chips on the hood, which I immediately pointed out. Reindeer claims that these chips are due to roadside pebbles, which is not covered under their policy. It is impossible to be due to roadside pebbles due to the size and location of the chips! They refuse to cover any of the damages. On top of that, they are expensive. My company paid $1590 for their roadside service. Normally for a price like that you can find an enclosed carrier that delivers coast to coast (my car was delivered via open carrier). Save your money and look at another company that provides good customer service and will take care of your car. read more

We just moved cross-country and the only thing I didn't stress about about was the car relocation. It was smooth, efficient, and friendly every step of the way. Audra Jones answered all of our first-timer questions and kept in contact with us as we were working out some of the other dependencies in our move. As soon as we were ready, they sprung into action. The driver gave us a head's up about the delivery time so that we could meet him without a problem. The car was in the exact same condition as when it was loaded onto the truck. I was not able to get the keys to my car until the 30th after the rental office reopened! It was covered in mud so I had to have it washed before it could even be inspected. It is NOT just paint chips out of my BOTH side view mirrors are scraped/damaged, which has nothing to do with road debris. Based on a couple other reviews, it looks more like Reindeer just has a problem with covering costs when they damage a vehicle! As a service provider you should NEVER accept the signature of someone from a rental office! It should have only be for the vehicle owner. The person in the rental office has no interest in the condition of the vehicle. And 24 hours is a ridiculous amount of time if the car is covered in mud! Horrible company!!!!! If I could I would give then NO STARs!!!! They don't take any responsibility for damage to your car. My car was damaged during transport! Reindeer only gives you 24 hours to make any claims for damage to your car. However my car was delivered before I arrived at the destination, and the driver was aware that it would be delivered prior to my arrival by a couple of days. He choose to delivery the car to the rental office of the temporary accommodations where I was staying. When I did arrive my car was covered in mud, so the rental office would not have been able to evaluate the car for damage anyway. After I arrived and was able to take possession of the car it was past the 24 hours, so Reindeer is now claiming they ARE NOT responsible for the damage to my car. WARNING: Find a reputable carrier. One who will stand behind their services and provide real customer service when they have damage your property!!! read more

We relocated from Alaska to Nevada. Our car was fairly clean when it was picked up in Alaska. When it arrived in Nevada, it was caked with dirt and I did not notice any significant damages. Upon washing the car, we noticed that there was a large dent in the rear hatch of our vehicle and Reindeer Auto instantly denied the claim. I would not recommend them to anyone due to not willing to take responsibility for damages incurred. read more

Due to a new job, I relocated from Indiana to San Diego. The relocation assistance company had identified Reindeer to transport my 2017 Lexus for over $1500. For the amount they charge, one would think that the car would arrive in the same condition that it left in. The car arrived with a noticeable crack in the windshield. According to a Penske auto body technician someone tried to repair the damage and did a shoddy job, as evidenced by resin. I informed Reindeer but they denied of any such doing and said that they are not liable for any damage. It's clear that someone hired by Reindeer thought they were liable and tried to fix the damage. I get a notification whenever the car opens and closes and during the time the car stayed in LA (Sat night - Thu morning) before getting delivered to San Diego, the car opened and closed on multiple occasions and one can highly suspect that someone tried to repair the damage. I highly ask that people needing car transported NOT USE Reindeer for transportation service. They business is shady and I put a complaint with BBB. It's awful that someone so untruthful and unethical can be allowed to run such an important business. read more

I relocated from the Big Island of Hawaii to California. Reindeer picked up my vehicle when they said they would. I called them several times with questions and requesting times and delivery dates and Michelle Bradley was incredibly helpful and very professional. I had to change my telephone number and email unexpectedly and that was not a problem . Michelle stayed in constant contact with me . I requested that they deliver my vehicle to my hotel in Los Angeles. There is very little parking at this hotel and it's in a very busy neighborhood in LA near the airport. I was notified when my car would be delivered and it was delivered a little earlier than expected. The driver was professional. He found a place behind the hotel and told me exactly where he was . I was terrified going into this based on the negative user experiences I read on Yelp before my car was picked up. This was part of a relocation package and I didn't have much of choice in who I could use. It's a tough thing because Reindeer works with so many different companies and I can only speak of my particular experience, which was quite good. Car was picked up in Massachusetts on a Tuesday (late morning). Local towing company called 30 minutes before they arrived to give me a heads up. Driver was super thorough in checking the car for any exterior damage. I wasn't necessarily given a heads up on when exactly the car would get there, but figured they'd tell me once they had a better idea. So, I leave for Chicago in my other car on Thursday of the same week with plans of arriving sometime on Friday. Somewhere in Ohio I get a call from a Chicago number that my car is outside my new house. I told the Chicago-based tow truck driver that I was still en route and wouldn't be able to accept the vehicle. He was super nice about it and said he would take it back to the lot and apologized for someone on their end not giving me a heads up. Shortly after that I got a call from Reindeer (first call from Reindeer since pickup) that Chicago-based company would try again the following day. The next day (Saturday) I got a call from the Chicago-based company that it would be delivered that evening or the next day and that I would receive a heads up before they were heading my way. Got a call about 45 minutes prior to arrival. Knocked off a star only because I was not given a heads up on 1st delivery attempt. Car seemed to be in good condition, but I will take a closer look in the daylight. Will update this review if there are any issues. read more

I had no choice but to use this company as it was provided by my relocation package. I was pretty horrified seeing the reviews. However, in my experience, everything went smoothly. The only real glitch was the driver failing to call before the car pick up. The car delivery was on time and well communicated by both emails and phone calls. I didn't notice any damage on the vehicle. The pick up driver had a good eye and was able to point out and record any damage already on the car. read more

This is the first online review that I've ever had to write. I just moved from Maryland to California with Reindeer Auto, and the experience was very good until my vehicles were delivered (which is why 2 stars instead of 1). Upon delivery both of the vehicles were filthy. Covered in dust and dirt so you could not inspect them for scratches or damage. We prepared our vehicles for delivery and they were clean at the time as recommended by the contract. The biggest problem was that the antenna to my car was loose and bent at the base. Reindeer Auto has admitted that it happened during transit, while they were in control of the vehicle. However they claim no responsibility. NONE! I jumped through all their hoops-- provided pictures, auto mechanic quote, explanation, claim form. And they immediately rejected it and forwarded me the original contract with the legalese highlighted that states they are not responsible for antennas. If they are not responsible, then who is? Apparently I am responsible for the damage they caused. If you have a chance to use another auto carrier, you should definitely do so. Reindeer's service will draw you in, but if anything happens you can bet that it won't be their responsibility. read more
