I found this juice bar after participating in the Percy Sutton 5K a couple blocks away. I like to get something I like me within a hour after a workout. so I can keep away the shakes and maximize recovery. The best thing to have is something protein packed and good for you so I usually search for a place that has healthy smoothies and snacks. Rejuvenate is tucked into the block with a really small storefront. There were a few people inside, waiting for their orders and the wait was a bit long, considering only one person was there taking and making the orders. Don't let this discourage you because their shakes and smoothies are very good and worth the wait. You can use the time to decide on what it is exactly that you want and I love that you can tweak the recipes to fit your needs. Pro Tip: If you don't like your shakes with added sweetener, make sure you mention that. They automatically add honey if you don't say anything. Luckily the lady realised that I'm fit and she asked before she poured too much honey in. I was on with it. It probably added to the flavour but next time I'll be sure to remember. I ordered the Peanut Punch protein smoothie with organic vegetable protein and a dash of cayenne. The heat from the pepper made it taste like a spicy Indian dessert. It was soooo good. She let we taste a small cupful to make sure I was satisfied with the flavour. Soo good! I also had a Wheatgrass Shot because, well, why the hell not? It's super fresh with a slight sweetness. They have a loyalty card and let it be known that despite living in Yonkers, I will visit this juice bar EVERY chance I get whether I'm driving through Harlem or visiting a restaurant in Harlem, ate, was full and had to take home a doggie bag. I had to support this black owned juice and smoothie bar. They also serve patties and have a cool snack special before 2pm. It is a small spot but they are quick and accommodating. The juices can be customized if you don't see what you need from their list of concoctions. Everything is made fresh upon order AND they have awesome patties. Make sure to ask for a frequent client card! I started juicing last year and it's always nice to have someone else go through the process while I get the energy and health benefits. This little shop was awesome! They had a fantastic lunch deal where you could get a smoothie and patty for $5! The smoothie was great - it was one of the flavors with beet and i couldn't taste it at all. This was my first experience with a "patty" and this one was excellent. They had 4 options originally but by the time I got there, the lunch rush left only a few curry patties left (I'm not mad, the curry was ). The shop is super small and doesn't have any indoor seating so just make sure to plan on eating elsewhere (I ate on the curb outside!). Overall, I had a good experience here! read more

A-ma-zing. The smoothies are awesome, especially if they have banana in it, it comes out to the perfect consistency that I love where it isn't watery but it's not too thick. The prices are really reasonable and I say that as somebody who's frugal with my cash! It's $5 for the sizes we got and my girl and I were full off of that. One of the best parts is that they are friendly and allow you to sample the smoothie before serving it up so you can let them know how you like it; such a smart idea! I can't believe more smoothie places haven't thought of that. Definitely come here instead of a Jamba Juice or something, you can taste how superior these smoothies are. I gave 4 stars only because I couldn't taste the moss as much and it was a tad sweet (but I should've specified to them I didn't want any added sugar). This is my second time here. I love it. They offer FRESH fruit and protein smoothies and fresh juices as well as wheatgrass shots, one and two ounces. They also have Jamaican patties. They have weekday lunch specials which include a 12oz smoothie or fresh juice and patty. The music is always on point. It is always clean and cool inside too! Literally which is great when it's hot out. They also have a decent sized sitting area too which has about 7 or so stools and bar height counter tops. The ladies, one of which is the owner, are always nice and polite and welcoming. They have a punch card reward do be sure to get one so you can cash that free one in eventually. I've gone here before and I've had great service and great drinks. I would in general give them 5 stars. Today however, was not the case. The girl who took my order wasn't very friendly and offered more to other clients than myself. The girl in front of me had a punch card which they didn't offer me and they gave her the extra juice leftover which again, they didn't offer me. Both of which have been offered in the past to me, but not by this girl. She charged me a dollar more than what I asked for (I ordered a small, she said I got a large) which I should have noticed sooner, but I didn't. When I asked about pricing while I waited she said I got a large so that was that apparently. Also what they advertised as being in the drink wasn't in it. I made the mistake of taking it to my place before drinking so I didn't notice in the moment to tell them to have it fixed. Again, in the past when I have gone they were great (and they have a really good lunch special if you go between 12-2), but today the service and quality wasn't there for me.
