I LOVE Rek'lis! Their outdoor space is so much fun, with socially-distanced tables and room for corn hole and kids/dogs to run around. The staff members are friendly and we've always had good service. The menu is a little limited, but if you like pizza, burgers, or Mexican food, you're good. Their merchandise is pretty cool, too; I bought a tank top and try to wear it whenever I eat there to show my support. This is one of my go-to places when I visit this area of NH. We were passing through town on our way to Vermont when we stopped here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. They have a great patio and indoor dining. We sat inside to accommodate a high chair. Our server was great, quick, and brought waters for us and our toddler. They had a small selection of beers but I found a couple good ones! They had their brunch menu. I had the corned beef hash with eggs and my husband had the fried chicken with corn bread waffle. The server suggested silver dollar pancakes for our kid. He loved them. While out and about this past weekend, we stopped in at Rek'-Lis Brewing for a bite to eat and to try their beers. Good food, good craft beers, great service and a nice treat, a very nice Hostess (Ashley) who took the time to tell us the Rek'-Lis Brewing story. Highly recommended. Stopped here en route to upstate Vermont and had a fabulous lunch! Located just off I-93 just miles away from Mt. Washington in the cute little town of Bethelem is Rek'Lis Brewing! We were looking for a fun way to break up a long day of driving and this was it for sure. Side note: the foliage in this area for the next week or so is going to be phenomenal if you're driving through this area, try not to miss it lol.. I was in awe). They had two fun, creative menus to order from; one with your more traditional brewery/pub staples (burger/fun sandwiches and apps) and one with more of a California/Mexican vibe. We totally inhaled the poutine to start which was phenomenal and I only made it halfway through my massive fried chicken sandwich because I was so stuffed from the poutine. My boyfriend got the bratwurst sandwich which was evidently amazing too. I tried their Citra beer and was pretty impressed with it. We arrived at 4pm and there was a 30 minute wait - it goes quickly because they send you a text so you can wait inside, outside, or in your car. The hostess was friendly. When we sat at the table our server promptly told us they were out of lobster, frittata, corned beef hash, bratwurst, and cobbler. We giggled a bit and he said, "Well, that's what happens when you show up 30 minutes before a restaurant closes." I guess no one told him there was a 30 minute wait for a table. I ordered a hard cider, when it arrived at the table my mom asked for a sip and the server said very loudly, "OHHHHHH, WE'RE SHARING?!" Dude. If you hate customers so much, everyone is hiring right now, go work somewhere else. The sarcasm and passive aggressive comments are unnecessary. My 65 year-old mother was SO embarrassed. Two of us ordered the Holy Brunch Burger and after it arrived were told they were out of hollandaise. Ok. Our burgers were supposed to be medium well and they were extra well done. My moms steak was supposed to be medium well and it was extra well done/burnt. She said she wasn't speaking up about it for fear of another reprimand. This is our second visit to Rek*Lis. On a positive note...if you have time to kill, I mean a lot of time to kill..like a few hours, you should plan on eating at Rek*Lis. Note we arrived at Rek*Lis at 5:30pm and waited an hour for a table. That was fine, we drank mediocre beer while we waited (I brew beer and this was definitely mediocre, at it's best...also way overpriced!). Got a table....FINALLY!!!! Ordered poutine, a burrito and a salmon sandwich. Waiting...waiting...waiting...waiting... About 50 minutes later, we decided that the poutine, burrito and salmon sandwich wasn't worth it anymore. Dropped ten bucks on the table to pay for an overpriced beer and decided to leave. The problem here is that the owners of the restaurant decided to expand and add more tables, but the kitchen cannot keep up with the demand. Also, it would've been nice if the waitress stopped by to give us updates, but she didn't. We're locals and we'll never waste our time at Wreckless, ehem...Rek*Lis Brewery again. I traveled from NJ to meet up with some friends I had not seen since COVID. I recommended Rek-lis as the place to meet up hoping they had trivia too. The place was packed for a Thursday night. The greeter at the door could not have been bothered to ask if I needed help. The people that I was meeting had left their name. So had he asked I would have known they were in the field at a table. They had live entertainment. In the field they did not sound too bad. After a 45 minute wait we were seated right next the the two person band. I would not recommend having a horn in the dining section. It was too loud and we could not converse without yelling. We asked to be moved which didn't happen and there was a 6 seat table inside that stayed vacant the whole time we were there. I had heard they smoked their wings before cooking so ordered them as an appetizer. They ran out of wings and asked if I wanted to substitute with boneless. If I wanted McNuggets I would have gone to McDonalds. I got the poutine instead. It was ok. They have done better. I ordered the Gyro as the main course. Another person ordered the gyro also. The meals came out just before closing time but my gyro was not there, it was finally served after 9:00, which is their closing time. One of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. The band was too loud and our table was too close. I think that also contributed to the waiter making many mistakes because he could not hear us properly when we ordered. The only saving grace the waiter understood the service was atrocious and comped me the gyro and another person their meal because they wanted the brat but only had hotdogs. Not the meal we intended to have. I would have been fine with the slow service, they were busy. And their menu is extensive enough to provide other options. Just being seated too close to the live entertainment that was too loud and not very good. Rek-lis needs to step up their game starting with the host. This may be the last time I visit Rek-lis and I'm clearly not going to recommend them to anybody based on my experience. read more

I just moved to the area and was excited they had a nice brewery. I've tried it twice and only once was good, the nachos were soggy, good flavor but the chips didn't hold up. The Brussels sprouts were amazing but the second time it came with half as much and they were cold and not crisp like the first time. I just tried to order again and the women on the phone told me I couldn't make my order I had to make it online. I was driving already and my phone data is slow I don't understand why I couldn't order right then like the other times. I ended up just turning around and going to Cellis they took my phone order. Reklis Brew is the place to be this summer! As a local who lives right around the corner (I'm spoiled!), I have been here over a half dozen times since they opened and it's been awesome every time. The beer is fantastic, the food is so good, and the vibe is spot on. Nothing like grabbing some friends, a snack and a beer and hanging on the deck for some live music, or in the beer garden. Pull up a stump and enjoy the nightly crackling fire while you sip on one of their many tasty brews! Or if you feel a little more feisty, head on over to the corn hole game area and challenge your friends to a round! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Stacy and Jill are great! Ian and Marlaina, the owners, are incredibly nice and such great people. Did you know that Reklis is dog friendly (outdoor areas only)? Ian even brings little bowls of water to every furry customer. The perfect end to the perfect day. After completing the Lafayette Ridge Loop all I wanted was a beer and a burger. Boy did they deliver! Several burgers to chose from, my husband got the BBQ one and I got the Reklis Burger. Both delicious and even better with a glass of Clouded Judgement. Couldn't have been happier. read more

Atmosphere: 5 stars Food: 5 stars Service: 1 star So a lot happened before we even got our food. We walked in on a weeknight, we asked for outdoor seating, and the place was buzzing. The building is beautiful--old wood, "edison bulb" lighting, really great atmosphere, outside beer garden and dining area, all very very inviting and beautiful. Since we are in outdoor seating, people can bring their dogs. I don't care for this, but my kids really enjoyed seeing the dogs. Instead of menus, we are supposed to scan a QR code. My son, in his 20's, tells us this is very common in his circles, but for us 50 plussers, we would prefer a paper menu. When our server came over, my husband asked for a real menu. Clearly, our server was not happy. She came back with a greasy paper menu, and he asked if she had a clean one. Not good. She told him she had just been using that for reference, and it was clean but wet. This is nonsense. It is extremely insulting for someone to tell me that grease and food bits are "water." It had mayonnaise or something greasy on it, and it was disgusting. It was all I could do to not open it and point out all the crud. How insulting. She said she didn't know if she could find another one, they use QR codes now because it is "sanitary" and she would go and look for one. So we got off to an immediate bad start. If your server thinks you are a PIA for asking for a paper menu, like a paper menu is really really a big deal, we already have a big problem, and that was a huge strike against the place, before we ever got food or drink. My husband is a nice guy, there is no reason she should be sourpussed the whole time, as she was. My son and husband got beer, and they said it was really excellent (a red ale, I believe.) The food was very good. Husband said the crab cakes were the best he had ever had. Daughter had hamburger, Son had gyro which was good but small, I had goat cheese and walnut salad which was fresh and really good. Giant pretzel appetizer was very good, not sure worth the $10 price. Giant nachos appetizer was really good, and really worth the $15 price. Food was fresh, came out hot, and was really good. As the night went on, I didn't want the server interactions to ruin the night, (it was very clear she didn't like us--very chatty to other tables, not a word to us) my husband and I made a concerted effort to be extra nice and polite to her, and the mood loosened, and she smiled at us occasionally. However, this took away from what would have otherwise been a really lovely night. I know that restaurant service can be grueling, this place was very busy, and servers have to have an ever-present pleasant attitude, smile on one's face, look like you are enjoying running around all night. This is very very hard, and perhaps she was having a bad day, but it really took enjoyment away from us. Clearly she was able to look friendly and chatty to other tables, a stupid menu issue should not have ruined our night. On a lesser note, we noticed a few of the servers petting the dogs outside, then handling food items, and this is not really supposed to be done, especially if they are trying to be "sanitary." read more

This is an amazing place to eat and drink in an area where there aren't many good choice. And it shows. It was hopping when I got there on Friday night. Ironically, I don't drink beer but they had some great white wine for me. I opted for the veggie burger and sweet potato fries. Excellent. The veggie burger was fresh, tasty and healthy. The service was great. When I first arrived, the general manager introduced himself to me by name! Due to Covid the place was sparsely occupied. However, there were about 20+ people crammed around the bar. Both staff and customers.... it was hard to tell the difference between staff, management, and customers. They made a beer sampler for us, all were great. We had brussel sprouts and fish tacos. Also, both pretty good, not amazing. The Pico de Gallo looked and tasted as though it was prepared months in advance. It was gross. Our waitress was attentive but not pushy. I can't say we had a good experience here. The place was jammed with a large group of bikers in the process of showing up. We were told they only spot available was a two-top near the bar. We said we understood, but within seconds of sitting down I had drunks hovering right behind me and within a minute one had already spilled beer on me. It was also so noisy we could not hear each other. We reviewed the menu and saw nothing that appealed enough for us to remain, so we got up, expressed our disappointment to the hostess and departed.
