The massage: i heard the machine from the wash area going off for 40 mins of my 60 min massage. The masseuse was pressing down on my spine it did not feel good at all. Also people kept popping in and talking while i was getting my massage. The place needs some fine tuning.

It's a body scrub where you are completely unclothed and a woman with two minutes rubs your body and dead skin flies off. At the end, you were rubbed down in oil. I was worried that this wouldn't be relaxing, or it would even hurt. Let me first say that they put you in a sauna for as long as you can stand, and then a wet sauna. Next you go into the room face up, and the scrubbing starts. Well, it is not as relaxing as a massage, by any means There is much satisfaction in the results. I left with glowy soft skin feeling wonderful! The spa offers an option where you can purchase a membership and the services are cheaper. I will definitely become a frequent flyer! I can't recommend this place enough!

This place is great. I made my initial appointment for massage/body work on my neck and shoulders…read more(something I do fairly regularly to treat on ongoing neck pain issue). I met with Martha and discussed what I wanted and my problem areas. As I asked, she stayed within my pain range; only going beyond to work out any referred pain areas. I am not someone who gets a massage for the relaxation benefits you might get from a Swedish massage, for example. I strictly use massage for pain management, soft tissue therapy, and trigger point therapy. Often the massage itself is uncomfortable but the end results are worth it. Martha is very skilled at finding and releasing trigger points, particularly in the neck and occipital range. I like her very much as a person; she is calm and conscientious, and this translates through in the therapy she provides. I cannot remember the name of the other girl I went to when Martha was out of town, but she also did a good job...I'm pretty confident all of the therapists at TMAWH are excellent. HUGE bonus points that they are open seven days a week! It's usually pretty easy to get an appointment (although securing a same-day appointment is rare unless there is a cancellation). The location is good, easy to find, ample parking, and the little office itself is exactly as a massage place should be: low lighting, clean, quiet, and peaceful.

I'm an experienced massage client and was so glad to find Touch of Bliss after my old massage therapist retired a few years ago. They have taken lots of precautions in reopening and I felt completely comfortable during my massage and upon entering and exiting. Everything was perfectly organized and I'm so happy they are taking such care with their clients. All the staff has always been helpful and kind before and after Covid. I highly recommend booking at Touch of Bliss! They are fabulous! The owner Erina is a special person and I'm happy to support a woman owned business. So many small businesses owned by women have been impacted during this difficult time that I feel it is more important than ever to support local and not big chains such as massage envy. You won't get a massage there like you will at A Touch of Bliss!

I booked a 90-minute head, shoulders, and back massage with Moonchild due to ongoing pain between my shoulder blades that's been affecting my sleep. First issue was the access. I arrived 20 minutes early to allow time to navigate, and for about 7 of those minutes, I was stuck outside. Every door was locked, and I only got inside because I happened to see another client leaving through the back. I had to bang on the door just to be let in, and the phone line was no help, because it is an AI answering service that couldn't connect me to anyone. Once inside, Moonchild mentioned she usually comes out closer to the appointment time. I told her I'd wait, but she decided to take me back early, which I appreciated at the time. However, the session ended at 1:38, despite being scheduled until 1:50. I didn't get taken into her suite until about 12:15, which is only 5 minutes prior to my 12:20 appointment. I was already back on the highway by the time the massage should have ended. More concerning, I clearly communicated that I did not want my feet or scalp massaged. I explained my hair was tied up, and yet she massaged it anyway, despite me explicitly saying no. That felt disrespectful and dismissive of my boundaries. The massage itself felt generic and did not address the issue I came in for: my upper back and shoulder blade pain. She briefly worked on my TMJ, which I didn't request, and when I mentioned wanting some kind of neck traction to help relieve pressure in my back, she casually said she could have done it... but didn't. I walked out feeling like my main concerns were not prioritized or properly treated. I paid $159 for a 90-minute service that ended early, disregarded my stated needs and boundaries, and left me still in pain. With so many glowing 5-star reviews, I expected a much more professional and attentive experience. Unfortunately, this wasn't it.
