They do have a sound machine playing waves in the background, which helps gently block out some of the surrounding noise. If you're someone who gets easily distracted, I can see how it might be harder to fully get into that relaxing zen if someone starts chatting or snoring (). This actually happened during my last visit, and it took everything in me not to start laughing. The few times I've been here, the massage therapists have been pretty considerate and always check in to make sure the pressure is comfortable. During my last visit, I felt like some areas were a little rough, but I always recommend advocating for yourself and letting them know if you need them to adjust the pressure. My only real issue with this last visit was that my 90-minute massage ended about 5 minutes early, which was a bummer. My friend, who went with me and booked the same massage, also finished before I did, so it was a little confusing and something I didn't particularly appreciate. That aside, the prices are affordable, and overall, they get the job done. If you're looking for a reasonably priced massage and don't mind the more casual/open setup, I'd say it's worth giving them a try.

Real tangible relief after even one visit! I have been searching for relief from neck pain that also causes numbness in my arms. Doctors want to give me various drugs that effect inflammation and nerve sensitivity - but this only masks the symptoms and does nothing to improve my situation. I've even tried cortisone shots in my neck for short periods of relieve. I am so glad I found Maeya. She takes time to understand her clients ailments and has an elegant intuitiveness to her method. The massage and stretching techniques were new to me, and I had real results. The next day I woke feeling significantly better.
