Didn't even get in the door. They were nice enough on the phone but their "rules" about groupon are ridiculous. They say the wont schedule for same day appointments if you have groupon but if you call back and tell them you have a Yelp coupon then they can accommodate you. Your rules dont make any sense. I wanted to get a couples massage and they squeezed us in the next day! They were very accommodating and they had a great deal for the couple's massage. We got a 90 minute massage and my lady worked out the knots in my back like a pro. Came out feeling refreshed and amazing. My girl friend actually fell asleep because it was so relaxing. I called to schedule an appointment for Sunday, I spoke with Ann, she then told me that Groupons are only valid M-TH. I explained to her that Groupon does NOT state that, I renigged with her until she budged and scheduled us for Sunday morning. Fine. 2. Upon getting our massages they were NOT relaxing for the most part. More painful than anything. I wasn't sure how it was suppose to feel, as this was my first massage. My gf said that it wasn't suppose to hurt. lol. whatever, I stuck it out. I did LOVE the hot stones! 3. Once our massage was over, we were walking out to leave, the gentleman stopped us and gave us some water in small paper cups, cool. The owner(s) do a good job at working with what they got to make the experience the best possible though. The masueue I had almost seemed like he was new to massage and it felt rushed a little. I went for a massage about a month ago. It was a 60 minute foot massage (clothed) and it was good. The woman did a great job. I went for a 60 minute combo today. They asked for payment before and only accept cash. I wasn't told male/female. I don't mind either way but am definitely more comfortable with women. The man who did my massage was just ok. The room was very cold today and I was exposed several times. I could have been a mistake but they should be more careful to make their guests feel comfortable. Angel, the owner was very nice and personable- she was working at the front desk when my best friend and I came in for our massages. She greeted us quickly, and asked if it would be ok if she started my massage, so we wouldn't have to wait, until the other massage therapist was available. She was great at communicating with me about the areas I wanted worked on, I could tell she was evaluating my trouble spots as she started my massage and as soon as Sam was ready to take over she gave him a through overview and he did a great job. I've been to a couple massage places around town, for the price and the quality I would definitely recommend Relax Zone as one of the top places to go. The massages were really nice! Had no problem with it at all. My only problem was with one of the receptionist ladies. I call in a day before to schedule an appointment for 7:30PM. That was the agreed upon time. I get a call at 6:58 the day of my appointment saying that my appointment is for 7:00. I explained to her that no, it was for 7:30, but she was adamant about how I was wrong and that it was for 7:00. She then asked what time can I get there and I said in 20 minutes. She said "ohhhh i'm not sure if we can wait" but I was still explaining how I called the day before and set my appointment for 7:30. So she then says yes we can wait. I then get a call 10 minutes later asking if I can come in at 7:20 or 7:30 because they "asked another customer to come in 30 minutes later FOR ME" ??! So i get there at 7:30 and go to pay. On the phone I was told that they accepted venmo. So I ask if I can venmo her and she says "ohh really no cash?" then i said no because I was told that you accept venmo. like if you want cash don't tell me you accept venmo or zelle. The masseuses were very nice and did a great job! The reception lady was very rude and the whole story about me getting my appointment time wrong was very very fishy. If this is your first time booking the foot massage reflexology please remember you will be in a communal room and your clothes will be on so wear something comfortable and loose. The only part I needed to say something about was when he started stretching my legs since I have issues with my left knee I had to let him know to be cautious on that side when bending it. I come here on a monthly basis and also send a TON of business to this location. Pros: Afforable, reliable ( meaning they give consistent massages), friendly, clean. It is easy to make appointments and they are always accommodating with last minute changes. Also, I enjoy a firm hand and they always deliver. Angel used to work up front, it changed to a young man, but he is just as awesome! Cons: Theres a bell on the main door or something that constant chimes- you can hear it all through the massage.
