As another reviewer said, I don't know why people go to a mall massage place and then expect the Ritz or something. It's a super cheap, fully clothed, mall massage and you know what? It's pretty freaking phenomenal. I get the table massages, between 40 and 60 minutes depending on how much time I have. And it is a deep tissue, acupressure type of Asian massage. There's elbows, there's some stretching and they're not shy. They get up on the table sometimes lol So yeah, it's not for everyone. But for me, someone that pretty regularly gets Thai massages and Korean body scrubs - man, they know what they're doing. My back cracked at least 6 times this last session. And honestly, you can tell that these guys are just genuinely paying attention to your body too. I had a serious kink in my neck for the last two days and this guy felt it IMMEDIATELY. Went "oh!" and then hurried over to grab some kind of icy/hot or Tiger Balm type of thing lol. He showed me what it was before putting it on me and got my okay to use it (very respectful) and then worked on my neck with it, and my neck is totally back to normal now. Measure your expectations. You're in a mall and they don't do gentle swedish massage here. My expectations were blown out of the water frankly. The workers aren't rude like some other reviewers said, they're quite lovely actually. They're just direct and there's a language barrier. But they've always been respectful and never tried to upsell me or hassle me for a bigger tip. (Then again, I always tip $20, which is standard for an hour so maybe they just don't have to lol) So if you're running errands or maybe you're just more comfortable getting a clothed massage, or you're like me and your back pretty regularly sounds like pop rocks and you need a firm, give this place a shot! read more

I love this place! I've been going for years. I usually get the 12-minute chair massage. I'm a little bummed out, because the price changed from $12 to $17. Okay price on line is different than what they say I store. So I had brought cash planning on paying cash for the price that was listed online when I get here it's $10 more so I was short eight dollars in my cash so I asked to put eight dollars on my card and pay the rest in cash he then tries to charge me an extra $10 and I'm like no so we're going back-and-forth mind you I am giving him tip in cash It was just a language barrier. I went in with my wife who was sore and needed a massage before work at the hospital,she is an RN. We were being spontaneous as we were running errands with our 22 year old son who was in his wheelchair. We walked in,not Busy,the older Massuse male,Asian,was massaging a man on the chair. A female it looked like was in the back.So the three of us walked to the desk not wanting to disturb,and the man looks at my wife and son who she's pushing in his wheelchair chair and says ,go!,get out,no kids! My wife said,"wow,let's go,he doesn't want us here."I said he's an adult,he's 22,I didn't even explain the massage was for my wife." I always go to this mall but never tried this place. Finally decided to give it a try because I have time prior to picking up my daughter. It was a walk in. They took me in and I chose the 30 minutes chair massage. HANDS DOWN best 30 minutes massage ever!!! I've had a few massages here and there, some were extremely painful and uncomfortable. Andy worked intuitively on my back and shoulders. He just know which muscles to work on. It was so relaxing that I could've fallen asleep if I had gotten a longer massage!!! After checking My favorite MT's place, I found he was off for a couple of days, and I had the window of time on Sunday and a stressed out back and neck, I had seen this place in the ER Mall and had hoped it might be the reassembling of the long closed " Relaxation Stop" a quick peek inside I recognized at least one face. I made a mental note. The place looks nice and it's clean. The people seemed friendly, no English spoken, I've dealt with that successfully in Korea Town and Asia for years. I opted for 40-45 minutes, can't recall cause I left with a lot of questions on my mind, which I will explain. The massage was ok-good. A little different technique here and there. Come time to pay I gathered all my crap from the provided basket, phone, keys, purchases and wallet. The gentleman gave me a small paper cup of water which was nice. He seemed hurried. I gave him my bank card which he looked to be processing, he put it on counter and his English appeared, "No money", to which I replied, no, there is plenty of money. I had also laid a $20 bill on counter indicating I wanted to break it into 4 $5 bills, I usually like to tip in cash, a holdover from my days working in restaurants. He did the same thing, at this point I think he was wanting cash, I can't imagine why. I actually accessed my account on my phone and showed him a nice balance, he got befuddled and called over a woman there. A try or two inserting the chip correctly and and approval was achieved. He then picked up the twenty and took 4 $5s from cash draw and handed me one! A very dear friend, who has since passed away, had taught me "desperate people do desperate things" I understand this, and I am empathetic, but sometimes being nice can be interpreted as being stupid. He was going to get a good tip, though not $15 bucks. I signaled for another $5 he looked dumbfounded and handed it to me, I actually regretted not leaving him with a $5 tip after rehashing how I was being played at the counter. Totally soured me on the place. I never have had such an encounter in this country. The previous "Relaxation Stop". that had been located downstairs, the folks were always great, little English also. I'm not gonna mention when he greeted me he must have bailed on his lunch, which I could have waited for him to finish, how do I know that? What a great spot this is! I was hesitant to come here because I had a bad experience before. Since my sister wanted to try it I went ahead and did it. A male massaged me and it was good. The only thing I didn't like was that I don't think he understood me. I kept trying to tell him to go easy on my legs and he kept massaging me very hard. Its important that massage therapist listen to our needs. Also, after charging me he asked about his tip. Recommended by a friend. Wen't in for a quick massage. Called ahead and they took me right away 10 minutes later. Got a full body massage in well spaced beds separated by Soju screens. This is a fully dressed massage. It was firm and thorough. I believe their menu offers anywhere from 10 minute massages to 1 hour (maybe more). Really good when you are on the go or need to fit in a massage on your break. They are located on the street level. I had really been curious about this place while walking in Eagle Rock Plaza on my way to Target. I liked the way it was open and not behind closed does, it looked very clean and the decor was very nice. Today I decided to give it a try. I had the $20 chair massage for 20 minutes. It was wonderful! A bit rough, but it worked very well on my tired and stressed muscles and helped my back, which had been hurting. The music that was playing was very peaceful and the the massage therapist seems to be paying attention to what spots needed the most attention. It was the best $20 I spent all week. They will ask you for a tip, which I gladly did give. Glad to find a massage place close by with great therapists and reasonable prices. I love this spa. It's quick, reasonable, and the people really know what they are doing. You can go in for a quick 15 minute or 30 minute chair massage and come out feeling so much better than you went in. For a while, it seemed the spa changed personnel, but some of the original therapists are back and they know the body. I go there when I'm exhausted, when I have a migraine, and it always helps me get on with my day. You can do a chair or full body massage. Yes, it's not fancy, but it works! This place is not good at all the women there does not have any technique. it feels like she just hitting you with her fist and rubbing you down vigorously. when I told her to slow down she did not at all. I ended up hurting in my lower back much more than I had originally did, and when I call they will not answer the phone and when I asked to be transferred to a 15 minute massage instead of a 30 minute massage she was kind of giving me a hard time, so out of pressure I stuck to the 30 minute. I would not recommend this place at all. I don't know if they're qualified to give massages because this one was the most painful experience I've ever had in my life I will not be going back again. They should have no stars! I went for a massage and asked for 40 mins. I even pointed to it in the sheet so she would understand. She massaged me it was fine, but when she was done she told me it was 45$, the price for an hour. I said it dodnt feel like an hour, and I hadn't tasked for an hour etc, which resulted in a wierd standnoff with her hand out for my card so I paid it. I had $5 cash and I handed it to her for her tip. She called a man over and he said MORE. I was very confused. He said you tip 20%. I was really embarrassed and honestly a bit dazed still from the massage. I said I'm sorry but had no more cash. So he held out his hand and said you pay card. So I paid her and extra 5 on my card and left. I should not have given in it was all so rude. On reflection I wondered if they only make what they get in tips. I got the 60 min foot massage - and it ended with a hot stone, which was a surprise since I've never had a foot massage with one, nor did they ask, either before the massage started or right beforehand while I was lying there with a towel over my eyes. It burned the sole of my foot. I told him and he rubbed various ointments on it, then rubbed it with a cold wet towel which seems only to have irritated it. I'm shocked. He gave me a $5 coupon and seemed surprised when I told him to use it now, and when I didn't tip.
