He spoke English fine over the phone! -I pre-paid $35 for 30min chair massage. I mentioned my neck and back are tight. On his own, he focused on my problem area. I didn't say, only do this area. He Didn't mention having to pay more... UNTIL AFTER. When i asked if i can extend the massage to 60 min (another 30min to make the total 60min). He had me walk over to the register and pointed at $50 for 30min for "a focus area". I said, "no, I literally said I want this one and pointed at the $35 for the chair so why did u focus one spot if i didn't lay for that. I asked How much for 60 min and you said $70. You never said $100." I ended up choosing $35 for 30min. You proceeded to charge me $35 and now you're saying it's $50?? So he was ok with $35 and focused on upper back and neck but now all the sudden- he can't charge me $35, it has to be $50. He just kept ignoring my questions and saying "no no. Focus" and points at $50. He didn't say many other words- just repetition over and over. I point at $35- he shakes his head no. I said you literally JUST did my back, and only charged $35- why did the price change? Idk if he wanted me to pay the full $100 because he kept repeating same shit. It's the principle, you're not going to play me and play pretend that your English is soo limited. He did ok when i called to ask if i can come in. Anyway, i grabbed my stuff off the chair. He started helping the lady and her kid after me. I was pissed and left because they are misleading and his massage was weak- which is why i wanted more time. I needed To have him dig in harder (i did ask during the massage) but Idk if they're hurting for money but I can see why he makes people pre-pay... smh. So shady and rude. And if I'm wrong- then have someone who speaks English communicate.. Make sure you set on price before they try to make you pay more AFTER the massage. read more

I went to get a massage and not only did the guy massaging me have to help anyone who walked in the door he also got up to ring people out and put them in rooms and was answering the phone. And then when I paid he said I forgot to tip. #1 Tips are not a given. Since it was my first time here, I decided to get the 1/2 hour massage where you get your feet soaked in a tub of water (plastic bag in the tub). While soaking, your head and arms get a massage. After the feet soak, your feet get massaged (loved it) then your legs. For $15, I was in total bliss. The shop looks clean. The chair I sat in was comfortable and looked clean. There were several rooms where you can get a massage in case you don't feel like sitting in a room with other people getting a chair massage. They were pretty busy for a Friday evening, but they took me in right away. Plenty of free parking in the back of a shared lot, but there's also street parking available. My friend was short on cash so we could only each give a $5 tip, normally I would have given $10. The reaction given by the masseuses was a bit surprising, as their disappointment was very evident. I understand that they work hard, but we literally had no extra cash to give. That said, don't shame me because of it, as that just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. What was supposed to be a relaxing experience was soured by this lack of business etiquette. The guy even pulled out a sign that said we should tip 20%. I wonder if this problem could be solved if they just asked you if you'd like to tip on the card before they ring you up? Also, if you come, don't request the man who rings you up. He's the one who answers all the calls so he will literally stop your massage several times to pick up the phone or charge customers.
