Rebecca was a total pro, giving spot on recommendations for which scents paired best together. I wasn't loving my top three picks at first. We actually ended up swapping scents from each other's selections, and it turned out AMAZING! The value is great for the experience. Our jars were just under $40 each I believe, but they have a variety of jar options starting at $25, plus a larger, higher value option for those who want it. Penn and Beech is perfect for a GNO, date night, or even a team building event with work. Fun, interactive, and totally IG worthy, definitely a Valentine's Day win!

The candle came in a hefty metal box that made sure it was secure during transport. The candle is elegant looking with it's matte, rough finish and simple decor. The pricing is on the higher end. I've burned it for an hour or so now. The scent isn't overwhelming, which is nice compared to other namebrand candles that you can only burn for minutes cause they're too strong. It has a light, crisp scent and fills the room with its aroma. Would highly recommend checking this local candle company out. Can't wait to try more scents in the future.

Relaxing because I was able to go at my own pace with the help of the knowledgeable staff to select up to 4-5 scents out of over 100 scents to add into my "pour your own experience" candle. Stressful because, how do I narrow down my selection of scents to use and what matches good with each other?! But I made it work. I think i found one of my favorite local spots for self-care time. The space is bright and welcoming, and smells amazing as soon as you walk in. It's perfect for a date night or small gathering. Plus, the candles are high quality with lots of different "vessels" to choose from that range in price value. Or fun thing to know, you can bring in your own vessel to use. One of my favorite parts was stirring up the candle to mix the scents to my liking, felt like a chemist without the labcoat though...goof times. I also found the parking to be easy and I would easily come back to make another candle. Thank you for a fun afternoon in Midtown Carmel.

Sad when you have to ask for a bag and your items just get shoved into a cheap plastic bag. Typically around the holidays, most stores make exceptions to their return policies but not greedy sisters.... I like to shop small business but next time I'll stick with pottery barn and save my money and receive better customer service

I bought 2 new (to me, they have a wonderful pre-owned book selection for 1/2 off MSRP!) books, as well as 2 gorgeous hair claw clips. They have such a cute children's book/toy section and lots of little trinkets like stickers, key chains, and cocktail supplies. When I'm feeling a little down and I just want to do a little retail therapy, I go straight to this store to get the midsummer's night candle. It's legitimately the best candle and we have a lot in common. We're both black, smell nice, sexy, kind of mysterious with a little bit of spark and a flame. Also, the people that work here are so cheery! Plus, they really do give you great tips and they cut the wick for you before you leave to enjoy your new waxy surprise!
