Mixed reviews but majority were favorable so we gave him a try. Own a 2012 Nissan Sentra that began overheating. He informed me he charges $85 for diagnostic which was no problem. My brother had already taken a look at the car and informed me it was most likely my Thermostat, thermostat housing, and possible radiator flush which I relayed to Josh but wanted a second opinion to be sure. First diagnostic appointment canceled due to weather (it never rained) but that was fine. He came out the next day. He looked at the car less than 10 minutes, informed my husband what was suspected was the problem and requested the $85 for the hour. I inquired if he could perform work that day and he declined since he had an appointment scheduled directly after ours and did not want to overlap. I paid for the full hour (reluctantly), inquired what parts were needed so he could complete the work, and scheduled a maintenance appointment. A discount was provided since he charged for a full hour but did not give us a true diagnosis evaluation of the vehicle. I purchased the parts and he came back 3 days later to service the vehicle. After evaluation, a heater hose was also needed which was no problem. We ran out, retrieved the part and brought it back. Josh installed all the new parts and the car was still not operating properly. There was still a leak detected by him. He determined the large thermostat housing in its entirety needed to be replaced. Of course I am frustrated because I feel if he had evaluated the vehicle more, actually gave the vehicle a thorough inspection during the hour we paid for, we could have ordered all parts at once and the job been completed during one visit. I still paid him the requested amount, gave a small tip because time went over what was anticipated, and Josh informed us once the part came in he would come out to complete the job that has been paid for. We received the part, reached out to him this morning, and now his schedule is completely full. This has been in going on for 9 days. I paid for a rental for a week which should have been more than adequate time for this repair but here we are 9 days later with no working vehicle, and a mechanic whom we have paid to come to our home TWICE with no results. I will update when/if makes it back out to complete the repair but for now I would caution you to look elsewhere.

Took my 1996 Ford F350 dually to have a break repair. Shop said they did a complete rear brake job…read morewith shoes, drums, seals, cylinders, and bearings. Paid $2,397.00. When I got it home I noticed both wheels were covered in leaking oil. Took it back. Owner reported his mechanic over sprayed and made a mess. They said they will stand behind their work. Took it back home and had a severe grinding noise from right rear brake. Took it back again. Left it several days.. owner said fixed. Took the truck home.. and was towing my boat and had severe loud grinding and smoking from the back brake. Had owner tow it to the shop and he said that he replaced axel bearings and reassembled. Took it home and once again had the same problem. Took the truck back again and it stayed there for around 8 days. Launch Diesel said nothing wrong with it and he didn't hear any noise. I had a video of the sound and let him listen to it. He never even took the wheel off to check because he said he was too busy and didn't have an open bay. Would not fix or look at it. Took it home and once again severe brake grinding. Took it back and even though the Launch Diesel said they stand behind their work.. would not look at my truck, said he was too busy and refused to refund any amount so I could take it elsewhere. Same day I took it to Midas and when they pulled the wheel off.. parts fell out of the drum (pictured below) and onto the ground. Was told the parking brake was put on improperly by Launch Diesel and now I needed new drum, spring kit, and shoes. Launch Diesel did stand behind their work even though they had several opportunities to make it right. Richard (Launch Diesel) was advised about the repairs and issues found by Midas, and he said he did not believe it and he hung up.

I came in for an estimate and they wrote me up so I knew the cost before any work was done. They are honest and fair. The work and customer service was phenomenal. I am extremely happy with my exhaust, which I wanted to stay quite and stock sounding. My transmission was shifting a little rough which is why I wanted it flushed. They were so awesome and snapped some pictures of the trans fluid to show me how it was really burnt! This was great to know because Ford recommends a flush at 150,000 miles and my truck is only at 90,000. I always appreciate a shop that takes the time to explain repairs and talk about preventative maintenance for each specific case. I will be getting all of vehicles serviced here in the future!

I learned about this auto repair place from my employer that used them to repair company cars…read more Initially the first four years were good except they had one female employee in 2021 answering the phones and always told me that they were booked solid. They had done my oil changes, my brakes, and a few other small things. I got suspicious when the fuel cleaning did not improve my gas mileage. This year (May) I took it to have the air conditioning looked at. My air conditioning went from cold to slightly cold, then to warm and then too hot over a period of two weeks. So I took it in and Larry the owner told me that I needed a new compressor at the cost of $1350.00. I do have a Warranty program, but I try not to use it because so far I have not used it at the end you get half the money back that you paid over the lifetime of the warranty. I called my warranty company and they approved it. Two days after I took it into Larry's auto care. I called on a Thursday and spoke to a female, which I believe was Larry's wife. She said she was very busy and would not get back to me that day, but she would get back to me the following day, which would be Friday. I never got called back Although my car is nine years old, I don't have 100,000 miles on it yet. I found it hard to believe it needed a brand new compressor. So I called Sam the owner of Revco. He had me bring it in right away, but kept it overnight which was fine. He called me the next day with a quote of $283. I didn't tell him about the experience with Larry's total auto care until after the fact.
