First off, I'd like to say that I noticed that there are three reviews that are "not recommended", which is strange to me. I looked at them and they all seem perfectly legit and normal. They also happen to be positive, which would help the overall rating of this business. I've been too busy to write reviews for most of the places I've visited over the past year, but I definitely wanted to carve out a few minutes to rate this business, because I found it to be excellent. I scheduled my pickup to be undercoated with Fluid Film, which is one of the services that Reliable Auto Center offers. When I arrived, they were prompt in taking my truck in. It was lunchtime, so I wandered across the street to a food truck (trailer, actually) that Troy's wife recommended (my Cubano sandwich was delicious, so I agree with her recommendation). After Troy pulled my truck into the garage and put it on the lift, he actually walked across the street to let me know his thoughts on the truck and the process before they did the work. That impressed me. While I was waiting for my food, the owner of the food trailer told me that he owns a snowplowing service and has known Troy for years, even calling him once at 3 AM when one of his trucks broke down during a storm. Troy came and got him back on the road quickly. Anyway, my truck was ready within an hour. The bill was reasonable and when I inspected the work that was done, I was impressed again. They were careful and thorough. I will definitely go back. In fact, if I lived closer by, I'm pretty certain that I would have Reliable do all the maintenance on my vehicles. read more

I've been searching for a mechanic like this one for a few years now. Troy was very helpful, didn't take it vantage, had reasonable prices. I brought my car in morning on a Wednesday. He diagnosed what was wrong with my car, and gave me an estimate of what the work would entail before he did the work. He then was able to get my car back to me the following morning. And when I didn't have a way to get to the shop, that someone from his company to pick me up. All-around good service! Will definitely return. read more

Brought in my truck to get a brake job. I dropped off on a Sunday before my vacation. Mind you my appointment wasn't until the following Friday. I didn't get a call until the day AFTER my appointment time asking what they were doing to my truck. Clearly they lost my appointment and the notes. Two days later I called and asked if they were done and they still hadn't looked at it. They were not apologetic and were rude, and did not offer anything for wasting my time. While vacationing in the area, I needed to purchase a new battery. My 2009 VW Jetta diesel has a tricky electrical system, the auto retail chain where I bought the battery didn't install for my particular car. Got a recommendation for Reliable from another customer and made it over there. They took me on the spot, knew how to plug a power source into the cigarette lighter to not lose the electronic odometer, and changed the battery for a very reasonable fee of half an hour's labor.
