I have been going here for 12 years! Nick is amazing. He does pretty much everything except for stereos, tires, and huge body work. Everything else, especially anything under the hood, is quick and very good. I have requested services like oil changes, or a broken headlight, or transmission problems, he will even show me where the problem is before he tackles it and replaces it. The value for the money is definitely worth it. He's not the cheapest. But he's also not the most expensive. UPDATE 3/01/23: This I just discovered today. The car I brought in back in June 2022 for the tranny fluid service they messed up had another hitch. I also had them replace the headlight bulbs that same visit (I provided the Sylvania bulbs). I paid for this service too along with the tranny service. This car is rarely driven at night so we never got to test the new bulbs, but tonight we had to use this car. Well guess what, the headlights were both out! My guess is, and it's only my best guess, they replaced the DRLs with the bulbs I provided, instead of the headlights. For this car you need to remove a bracket to be able to lift the casing and reach in to pull out the old bulbs. It's not like some cars where you can just easily reach in behind the casing and pull out old to put in the new. Good thing we noticed the problem right away before driving out too far so we had to go back home to change cars. When I said quality of work has declined this is yet another example (refer to the tranny fluid incident in my previous review). They just try to rush everything and move on to the next job. No more pride in the quality of work. This is definitely no longer the shop we knew back in the days of Hank and Sue when their work was always reliable (no pun intended). My latest visit to Reliable was even better. I didn't have an appointment, but they still stopped what they were doing and helped me anyways. Turns out my Car was attacked by Rats, and the car, if driven further, would have caused serious damage to the Catalytic Converter. So the owner took it upon himself to actually repair the damage himself and basically rewired the chewed up wiring harness right then and there. He is very kind, and professional and really knows his stuff. My whole family will be taking their cars to Reliable Auto Clinic.
