Definitely recommend coming to this Jiffy Lube! I had a situation happen that had me concerned about my car and driving it a far back to the original jiffy Lube I went to. I called this Jiffy Lube since it was close to home and explained the situation to Ronaldo who answered, he said to bring the car in so he can check it and let me know if there was something that looked wrong or broken with the car. He was able to check my car and found nothing wrong or broken with it and said I must have ran over a oil bottle or puddle on the road that caused my car to loose traction and got oil splattered all over my wheel wells. I waited at least 5 minites before someone spoke with me and said "the car in front of you will be done in a few minutes." So I waited nearly another 30 minutes, in the heat and full sun, and the car in front of me still had not been moved out of the bay. When I asked what was going on the employee told me "the part we need still hasn't arrived" ??? When I called him on not letting me know, he became surly. As I was looking up another place to get an oil change, they immediately moved the car out of the bay. Which they could have done sooner, but only did because I'd complained. The people working here are friendly and nice. However, I was told they didn't have the filter for my mercedes, so I went to the dealer and grabbed one. Ne warned, Jiffy lube charges $64 for parts even if you bring your own oil and filter. the mechanic was unable to tell me what parts I'm being charged for. they also charge $46.99 for labor, which is pretty good. Went to this location for an oil change. The Jiffy Lube employee told me he would use the engine oil he recommends. I stopped him and I corrected him. The engine oil he recommended would have harmed my engine. I know very well the type of oil my car uses. I only use oil recommended by the manufacturer for my car. The Jiffy Lube employee had no idea what "API SM" meant. I will not go back there every again. Find out the type if oil that your car manufacturer recommends. Advocate for your car. But I can hear one of the employees mouthing off about my car needing gas and nitpicking at other things about my car. Like what is it to him if I needed gas. Great employees, great service but very short handed. They were backed up which I assume was because of the only 3 What should have taken 20-30 minutes took close to an hour. I had my right front tire blow out and I went to have it replaced. I put on the "donut" but I finally got it on. I had the tire replaced. My brakes were squealing a bit and the tire dealer said I should have my brakes checked. I went to Jiffy Lube in Canyon country and told them what happened and they did the brake inspection on the right front and discovered a bent part and they fixed it by bending the part causing the squeal I have 122,000 miles and the brakes are original. He looked a the front brake and there was plenty of pad left. He told me about what he did to correct the noise and there was no charge! As a consumer advocate who has filed suit against telemarketers and, as a result appeared on Dateline NBC, which eventually led to the the creation of the National Do-Not-Call List, I can tell you that service in this profit driven world like this is rare. Draft from beginning of August: "I pulled up my car, and a worker immediately asks "Oil change?" I respond yes, ask how long, and he replies verbatim, "20-25 minutes. Leave your car and keys here and you're good". So I pulled my car up, waited to tell him my keys were in the car while he's in a conversation for 5 minutes, and left to get a quick snack across the street after not being able to get his attention. I came back 25 later to pay, and my car had still yet to be worked on. A different worker comes to me saying it's my fault because "I just left" and they need a signature before starting. My 20-25 minutes is now an hour and counting, and I guess "you're good" really means you aren't." Now (End of August): Had noticed a leak for a few weeks under my car. Thought it was the AC at first, but eventually noticed a dark red tint. Finally was able to take it in to a Jiffy in Silverlake, and couldn't believe their reaction. They asked me if someone that wasn't a professional did my last oil change. I said Jiffy did. "Not here right?!" When I said up in Santa Clarita, they said "rookie mistake. whoever did it didn't tighten the Transmission Fluid hose at all." LONG STORY SHORT: I had a pretty bad experience getting my car serviced, and come to find out the people fixing my car were the reason I had to take it in again to get fixed. Let me begin by saying this Jiffy Lube was my back up plan. The more convenient one on via Princesa has been out of my oil (conventional oil at that nothing special) for four weeks and counting. So finally, I reached out to this Location via phone call and the representative that answered was very polite, respectful, and responsive. So when I pulled in, I expect nothing less of that in person. For auto shop and late on a Sunday I got exactly what I got the phone call to them. The Professionalism continued from the moment I pulled in, the team communicated together, calling out to one another, and talking to each other as they worked on my vehicle. Something I've never seen at the other location. Needless to say, this is now my location. I recommend them to everybody. And kudos to the guy who managed the desk. After sitting there for a few minutes in the customer lounge anticipating an oil change for my vehicle. I was told by the service technician that they could not provide me with an oil change due to my check engine light being on and since my vehicle has not been serviced by "Jiffy Lube" in 75,000 miles... As a matter of fact, my vehicle has been serviced at other automotive dealers since my last visit with Jiffy Lube. I was shocked that they would not give me an oil change due to "liability reasons" and "new policy."
