If it was possible to leave zero stars I would . They asked me if I wanted my oil filter changed. I specifically said no. They gave me an estimate of 170 before I had the change done. When it came time to pay, it was 210. There were two mysterious up charges one for an oil filter. They resolutely refused to cooperate with me and explaining exactly where the extra $30 charge of come from. The only explanation I got was "We give you the final estimate at the end." I have never heard of receiving an estimate AFTER the work is done. As sinister as it is stupid. It felt to me like they were deliberately overcharging me by 30 bucks knowing that there wasn't much that I could do after they've done the work . If I could give 1 star, I would. I honestly hate leaving bad reviews but this experience was terrible. I used to come here regularly for my oil changes but recently, my boyfriend came here to get his brake pads replaced and get an oil change before going on a BIG drive to Arizona (6 hours). I wanted to make sure that his drive was smooth and safe before he went on this road trip. But guess what? They put the brake pads on BACKWARDS. What the actual f? He had to pay $700 for all this. So he gets to Arizona, to find out that his brake pads were overheating and there's brake dust all over his tires... So he gets that fixed over there for $150. When he came back, he tried to talk to them about it and they decided to take the receipt from him and said that he should have called them before getting it fixed and didn't do ANYTHING to compensate or apologize.... This is a HUGE liability. You guys are lucky that his truck didn't burst into flames. Because that weekend in Arizona was 115 degrees. read more

My 18 year old daughter brought her 2009 toyota in for a regular oil change today. The guy told her he would do the same oil change as the last time the car came in, which was regular oil. When she checked out, it cost over $115! We looked at the invoice and they put SYNTHETIC oil in instead of regular. This car has been to Jiffy Lube many times and only ever had regular oil. Now we can't go back to regular oil and every future oil change is going to cost her $115?! They never asked or notified her that they were changing the service. I have to send a HUGE thank you to Salvador. I had an oil change a few days prior at another auto mechanic and woke up the next day to a puddle of oil in my driveway and no oil in the tank. I'm a single mama and know nothing about cars. Since it was the weekend and my mechanic shop was closed I went straight to Jiffy Lube to see if they could give me an idea what was going on till I could get ahold of my mechanic on Monday. I would give you zero stars if I could, worst experience ever. I don't know why I keep doing it to myself going back to Jiffy Lube. I prefer Valvoline over Jiffy Lube any day. Valvoline is way more professional, it took over an hour for an oil change. The employees are just standing around, all of them on their phones the whole time. Cars are lined up outside with open bays. Even the manager's on his phone while one of the guys was standing now on his phone vaping crazy. Don't go there for an oil change if unless you clear your schedule. Very unprofessional. They skipped multiple services that they marked on my receipt that was completed. They never vacuumed the floors. They never even checked my airfilter it just says completed. It also says they checked my battery. They never did. I have come here a few times brought my own oil and filter and the price was 59 $60 which is fine. I would understand if it went up to 70 or 75 in a month because of inflation but the moment I got there, I sat at the entrance before I came in. I had one technician look at the computer go inside to the office to the managers office. Another technician came out looked at the computer. Finally, the manager comes out with this clipboard and tells me it's going to be $110 to change the oil I brought That's ridiculous and I said thank you but no thank you I called another Jiffy Lube location which I did give a great review in canyon county area and it was half the price. I have to retract an earlier review. After driving for a week, the second installment of brake pads failed. The brakes began to make hi pitched squeaking sounds upon braking. The noises were loud enough to turn heads. Keep in mind, I had to visit this location FOUR times in order to get this right. In the end, they failed. This location admits to using "off market" brake pads. They claim that the pads are "approved" for safety. I respect and believe them. HOWEVER, the are NOT compatible with my make of car. Therefore, the pads/rotors get "glazed" quickly creating heat and friction. This creates the high pitch sounds. In the end, I will have to take my car to my dealership and wait a week for proper repair. I am out $426, but want this to be a lesson for all who goes to this establishment. read more

My wife got ripped off being charged $300 for an oil change, a cabin and air filter on a 2012 Highlander, and they wanted to charge me $120 for an Oil change for a 2015 jeep Cherokee. Writing this review primarily to warn other people that this location will not honor the $26 off synthetic oil check-in offer that they have on Yelp, even though it's on this location's profile. The manager claimed they have no affiliation with this Yelp page and doesn't have to honor it; best he could do was $20 off since that's what they have listed on their website. The service other than that was fine. They did an inspection and let me know about a couple issues I should get checked. I appreciated that. Honestly, pick up was the only part of the experience that redeemed their service. I'm very surprised the manager wouldn't honor the $6 difference on the coupon. As a business owner myself, I can tell you that's the difference (as small as it may seem) between gaining a life time customer and one that'll just move on to a competitor. Went here today for an oil change in my 2006 Honda accord. Man gave me one price for an oil change. $110. I said do you have any other options. He said (around) $80. I asked about them and was told "we don't have this oil available right now" CONVENIENT! He says "ok your total Is $100" WAIT WHAT? I said "how did it turn out to be $100?? I got an oil change on a Monday, on Tuesday I was running errand and heard metal scraping. So I pull over, check underneath and see the bottom plate cover dangling. Since I was 30 minutes away from this Jiffy Lube location I had to use what I could find (tape, and a string) to keep it intact. I couldn't finish my errands and headed to this location. While I was driving on the 5 south I heard it again but even louderrr. I knew my temporary fix came undone. I pulled over on the emergency lane and it was hanging evennn lowerrrr. So I drove to nearest exit with my hazards on to once again try and temporarily fix it till I could get to this location. Meanwhile my three year old son is in the car. I'm worried because it is not safe for this to be dragging on the freeway and is a safety hazard for myself and everyone else. At this point the bottoms just all chewed up and when I get there I tell them what happens. One guy walked in holding it and sarcastically asks what'd you hit? I tell him why wasn't it put back on properly? He tells me you hit something right here and I said tell him the same story above. This just made me even more mad because it's like you don't realize how worried I was being in the car with my son knowing this plate is dragging so loud while on the free way and now I have to shimmy my body underneath the car to temporarily fix their mistake. They never asked me. And that was after I told them I have changed the cabin filter a month ago. BTW, that filter in Pepboys is $12, Jiffy charged $69. Then they gave me a bill of total $200. Driving from the San Francisco area to Santa Clarita, I hit the recommended mileage for service. I pulled in, was given an estimate of $148.00, and was told taxes would be in addition. I had a $20.00 off coupon, which they did honor. So far, so good. I stayed in the car with the window down and opened the hood. I was watching to see if they completed all the items on the service list. They changed the oil; I had to ask them to fill the windshield fluid. I asked if they had checked the tires. The first person looked at the computer; all tires were 34 lbs. Total BS, as the computer has no records of the tire pressure. I was watching and knew they had not measured the tire pressure. I asked again for the tires to be checked when they took my credit card, and the tech did check the tires and came back and said they were all at 36 Lbs. I mentioned that they were supposed t be at 33 Lbs. He said, "I thought you wanted to be at 36 Lbs." At this point, I was done and left. When I arrived at my hotel, after stopping by an auto parts store and buying a tire gauge, I found two tires were overinflated; the other two were at the correct pressure. I adjusted the pressure to the specs on the driver's door. What they stated was completed. Change Oil Filter - Yes Check & Inflate Tires Pressure - After two requests Check & Fill Differecials - They stated it was full, Total BS as they did not open the filler bolt. Check & Fill TRANSFER CASE N/A Check & Fill POWER STEERING ELECTRONIC - no, the Engine has a shroud that was not removed. Check & Fill WINDSHIELD WASHER ADDED - After I asked Check & Fill BATTERY WATER - no, the Engine has a shroud that was not removed. Check Lights - No Reset dash oil indicator - Nope The lsit goes on with itens also not checked. The list goes on. For $150, I expect the service outlined in the estimate. read more

Sometimes they will install parts, for a reasonable fee, if I bring it to them. They are honest and take good care of my cars, they offer great recommendations. Today, I went to a local auto store to get a new car battery and the sales associate pointed out my oil cap resting on top of the engine block under my hood. My hood hasn't been opened since my oil change at this Jiffy Lube location. I can only infer that the cap was never put back on after the oil change. I went in for a oil change, and it was assisted by a tech name Angel. He was very helpful and very nice. Customer service with him was pure excellence. The entire experience of getting oil changed was amazing. They even taught me a few things so that I can take better care of my car in between oil changes.
