This was my second time using Reliable Glass in the last 7 years--got to love the rocks on PHX roads. I called to schedule the replacement. The initial call took less than five minutes and they ran my insurance for me without making me stay on the phone. I really appreciated the time save. A week later a technician--Gus--came to my house to replace my windshield. When he arrived, he checked the part number and realized he had the wrong windshield (despite running the VIN on the initial call). Even though it was the same size, he took the time to go get the right windshield and come back to do the job right. The whole replacement was easy and fast. The finished product looks great. Reliable Glass came to my rescue after another major named company failed me. The other company that starts with an "S" for "sorry..." was scheduled today through my insurance to change out the window on my older Expedition while I was at work. The technician showed up and took off my window then told me he could not continue my change out because there was some rust on the frame. He continues to explain to me that he cannot put back my old window because it was cracked and that I would have to have my truck towed to a body shop to have the window frame repaired before they can replace the window- all at my own expense of course. I'm no window installer professional but when I looked at the frame I saw very little signs of rust and my first thought was that it could be buffed out. Anyways, there I was left stranded at work and my truck without a window. I searched for a local auto window company and thankfully found Reliable Glass' number. Ms. Katie was my Superhero and got me the help I needed. Even though it was already later in the business day she made phone calls and had conversations to ensure I got help. Katie even helped me three-way call my insurance company to transfer the claim and to also complain about the other company that left me stranded. Not too much longer another Superhero Mr. Joey arrived to my workplace parking lot and changed out my window. Sure enough the little rust spot only required a quick wire brushing and wipe off. I was on hold for 5 minutes, then told the residential person wasn't at their desk. I wanted to give them my business, but I can't when no one will take my call. My response to your response Greg: Looking at your recent reviews, my experience is becoming a common one. One of the people you had mentioned was the unavailable resource. I just didn't feel it was appropriate to call them out by name on a review site. If your scheduling team isn't better staffed, I feel like you will continue to lose money. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go here. While Lynette and Katie were very helpful to me... I DO NOT appreciate their other office staff who answered the phone when I called with questions. The woman was downright RUDE and LAZY. Didn't bother looking up my quote in the system. Told me my glass may not be available. Well that's funny because I had already decided on glass and was told a date for an appointment. That date didn't work with my schedule and honestly the crack in my windshield is so bad it's hard to see. And FYI I didn't wait last minute the initial chip then crack all happened Wednesday of this week. So I wanted to get it done soon and work out a time because their hours of 7-3pm aren't flexible with my work schedule as I work 6-4pm despite them being mobile. So I was going to make special arrangements once I solidified a date and time. Couldn't even do that as that woman gave me the run around on this fine Friday afternoon. Don't hire people who don't want to work and who don't have customer service skills. I don't care if it's Friday at 2pm and you guys leave at 3:45. What could have been a SIMPLE maybe 10 minute call to schedule me turned into a NIGHTMARE. If they give you this much attitude before you even give them money... They replaced my windshield leaving broken glass on my leather seats. Left 3 inch gouge on the passenger side cawl and an inch gouge on the driver side. Cawl which is the plastic piece just under the windshield the leaf catcher. The worst thing is Steven who replaced it said nothing about it. My wife noticed it. They said they would replace both parts. Have not heard from them. Now I hear they were bought out by Safelite. They just totally forgot about me. Also they did not even clean the windshield. Terrible customer service. Later found glass also all over mats, floors, and dashboard. So much for your good reviews. read more

Their price was high, and customer service was not good. To arrange an appointment to get a quote, they could not give me a window of time during the day. They said I should keep the entire day open, and they would call me that morning to let me know what time they would be there. When they had not called me by 11:00 AM, I called them to see when someone was coming. The office person told me probably between 1:00 and 3:00. They were the highest price of the companies that I called based on their rough estimate of my window size. But a high price alone is not a bad sign. Most of us homeowners don't know the glass business, so we don't know if a higher price might be justified based on glass treatments, construction with the frame, etc. But the service was poor in my opinion. I used someone else at a significantly lower price, and I was very happy with the result. read more
