This company, while it has a few nice employees who try to do the right thing, is simply not worth the frustration and aggravation. For years, I have had American Home Shield (AHS) home insurance for all of my properties. Unfortunately, AHS uses this company, almost exclusively, and every single time we've had a plumbing problem, it has been a nightmare. But, the most recent problem was the last straw. First they sent an employee who was very nasty about my dogs who were well secured behind a 6 foot fence and then became verbally abusive with me when I tried to get a time estimate for the repairs requested. I had to physically eject him from the building. The next people they sent broke two of my faucets taking them apart to 'determine what was wrong' and then they replaced them with faucets that were NOTHING like the high-end pieces I had had before. It took more than three weeks and a letter from my attorney to AHS for them to finally 'order' a proper replacement. They broke it, they should have fixed it right away. Instead, I spent nearly a month without two critical faucets in my home. Next, because the faucet replacement didn't fix the problem, they came out to check on my pipes. They turned off the water main at the curb. When they did that I clearly explained that there was a secondary water valve to my sprinkler system. I took them to the valve, showed them how it worked and explained that it needed to be shut off before they turned the water main back on or the instant pressure would blow the sprinkler connections. Well, a couple of hours after they left, I went in to my back yard to find it completely flooded - more than ankle deep. One of the main connectors to my sprinkler system was blown. I ran up to the curb and turned off the secondary valve before I lost even more water. Then, the next day, when I called Reliable to complain, Raymond, the person you speak to when you call, screamed at me, called me names and threatened me. Needless to say they are not accepting any responsibility for the broken sprinkler system or the excessive water loss. So, I am now looking at nearly a thousand dollars in repairs to my sprinkler system due directly to their gross incompetence. I have instructed my attorney to inform American Home Shield that this company is never to set foot on any of my properties again. All I can say is - STAY AWAY - IF YOU VALUE YOUR HOME AND YOUR BANK BOOK, STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

Professional, Courteous, Informative, Reliable! When I discovered my water heater leaking, I called Reliable Plumbing and spoke with Ramon Pagan. A short time later a work crew from Reliable Plumbing arrived. Within minutes they were able to access the situation, drain the remaining water from the water heater, explained all my options, and took measurements for a replacement unit. During the entire process the workers were very professional and clearly explained every step they were taking to assist us. They took measurements of the water heater space and again explained our options. They said they'd take all the information to the office and I'd receive a call for the next step... The next morning Mr. Pagan called and again explained in detail all my options. He quoted me a very reasonable price for a new water heater. After I agreed, a work crew was dispatched to my home with a new unit. Again the work crew were very professional, courteous, informative, and reliable. Hats off to the crew and management of Reliable Plumbing! After not so successful dealing with other area plumbing companies, I was introduced to Reliable Plumbing by a friend. I needed a whole house water filtration installed and no other company seemed willing nor certified to complete the task. The crew for Reliable Plumbing actually arrived a bit before the scheduled time. They were very professional at explaining the installation process and obtaining all the necessary parts for the whole house filtration system to be installed. The crew was exceptional!! They worked promptly and did a complete clean-up of the work area. Reliable was consulted regarding gas leaks at our house. Gas leaks are especially difficult to find as they can be just about anywhere the line goes, from the supply source to the end appliance. Reliable stayed with the project until all leaks were found, 7 in all. They corrected the leaks and worked on it diligently so that we could turn our gas on as soon as possible. They explained their work along the way. They didn't replace covers and appliances as I would have thought they would, but they did do the work they were consulted to do and they were professional at it. Thanks to Ivan of Reliable plumbing. Anthony arrived quickly yesterday, 10 August, and diagnosed that the thermostat on my water heater was bad. He contacted the manufacturer for the part and it was delivered today, 11 August, returned, installed it within 30 minutes and was on his way to his next call. The entire experience, from the owner that received the call to Anthony diagnosing and then installing the replacement part was excellent. Fast, efficient, and courteous service.
