The vehicle that showed up didn't have any seat belts, and when I called to inquire they said the other vehicle was being serviced for AC. I would have liked to know earlier only because the seat belt issue was so pivotal and it put people in an uncomfortable spot trying to decide whether to pass on a really fun holiday family time or just take a risk with babies on board. This bus was also dirty from use, visible dust on seats & dust coming out of AC vents. There were several tech issues that made the day-of confusing (Google calendar invites for the ride canceling, then moving from our scheduled time from 6pm to 4pm, a different driver from the original text message, and the driver telling me tip wasn't included though I certainly had paid the 20% up front). Our driver was patient and accommodating (Melvin) to the confusion while I called the company to figure out next steps, and after the ride when I showed him I already pre-paid his tip. All in all the front end of this company was great, the back end was kind of a mess. To their credit, they did offer a full refund to me if I didn't take the ride and were apologetic. I'd go with another company if you need something super specific like seat belts and want better communication up front if things change with your ride.

Day of the wedding came and the vehicles we contracted did come but in stead of staggered departures they left at the same time and this left 30-40 guests stuck at the hotel to find their way to the venue. We called him and tried to find a solution only to be told they were already on their way to another pick up. Jason could have cared less about trying to help us! Had to start the wedding late and that threw everything off. Guest's had to find their own Uber/Lyft which was not what we wanted at all and we were finally able to use the hotel's small bus to bring some guests out to the venue. Recently I had to get to Dallas airport and needed a taxi service. I called them a week in advance. The guy who answered seemed friendly enough but also just a wee bit too cavalier, eliciting my skepticism that he was really taking down my information. I figured I was being paranoid. He did assure me that he could provide the service requested, for about $70 (it would be based on a meter, he said.). So I called a day before to make sure we were all set. Nobody answered so I left a message which was not returned. I called again first thing in the morning on day of departure and this time the same guy did answer. He told me that he was "just about to call me" and that on Tuesdays all the staff has a day off which is why he didn't respond the day before. Ok, whatever. He then said, in a somewhat stoned tone of voice, "You want a pick up at 12 right?". I had actually requested 11:45 but feeling a little wary I asked for 11:30, for a little cushion. So, 11:30 rolls around and I'm all packed up and looking out the window. At 11:45 I'm getting nervous so I call again and get the answering machine and ask him to please get back to me as I have a flight to catch and no alternate means of transport. I call again at 12:00 and still no answer. This is where I start feeling pacing around the lawn with my luggage looking crazed. Luckily, I happened to get a hold of AA taxi who were able to get to my house by 12:15 and get me to the airport with a little time to spare. No sign of Denton County taxi anywhere as I was leaving, of course. According to the AA driver, Denton County Taxi has no license and is operating illegally. Considering that I never heard again from them, I have no reason to doubt this. Thankfully I had not given any credit card information over the phone prior. I cannot dis-recommend this service enough.
