After calling multiple shops up on a Friday evening, many of them were either closed or quoted me at least 2 hours and $100-150 to tow my car three miles back home. I took a risk and started calling shops with no reviews. CSR quoted me $75 for pickup and $4/mile. Best of all, they said they'd get to me in 15 minutes. 15 minutes passed by and the tow truck came to save me! It should've been about $90 but the guy asked me $80. I waited and missed a day of meetings and my plane. After an hour, I contacted the driver and provided my location multiple times, even a map of where I was located. Despite being in close proximity, he appeared completely confused. Rather than apologize, the dispatcher called me a chewed me out. It was shocking.
