Dave got me and my wife out of a dangerous situation. We had a tire failure on the beltway last night in an area with very little shoulder and heavy traffic. We called AAA and they said that because of the situation that we were in, they would expedite the towing. 20 minutes later we get a call from a towing company saying that it would be another 45 minutes. Then used the "Starlink SOS" emergency call button in the car. They said that they would get back to us as soon as they could arrange a tow. Waited another 10 minutes for a call back when Dave showed up in his tow truck. He asked if we needed help. We thought that he was with one of the services that we called, but he said that he saw us and thought that he would check to see if we were all right. IF YOU EVER NEED A TOW CALL DAVE!!! He is one of the nicest most professional people you could hope to meet. I am retired and over the years have used at least a half dozen towing companies. Professional, punctual, helpful, and friendly are all words to describe Dave. And, those words are especially important when you find yourself with car trouble and in need of assistance quickly! I'm a realtor so my livelihood depends on my car. While driving on the Beltway earlier today, a "tire malfunction" warning came on the dashboard. I was able to make it home safely and in less than an hour Dave, with his "can-do" attitude, showed up ready to whisk my car off to the dealership. This happened late Saturday afternoon so the dealership was closed. But, Dave managed to get my car inside the building and drop off the keys so I know my car will be secure until the place opens on Monday morning. Dave's truck says Mr. Help on his rear window and he truly holds true to that! I had a coolant leak and was stuck on the side shoulder of I-495 with an overheating engine. I was getting ready to call for a tow when Dave pulled over to the side of the road and offered his assistance. He offered to take me where ever I needed or alternatively to top off my coolant tank and see if it's a slow leak so I can make it home and get it repaired. I went for the top off and it worked out, I was able to make it home without any further issues. Stranded on the shoulder on the outer loop of the beltway with a flat tire and near the verge of a mental breakdown, David appeared as my angel with his tow truck. After dealing with my insurance company that included another tow truck service that wouldn't let me ride with them due to COVID 19 and realizing that I needed a special wrench to get the bolts off my tires, David said he could take me all the way home. He took me from MD River Road to Chantilly, VA. He was polite, great communicator, had reasonable rates and really just a great all around person. He made my year and I'll never forget him. Dave helped get my car jump started and towed this evening. He did so on short notice as the garage I was in closed at 7:00 pm, and he was able to respond in less than half an hour. He was unable to get into the garage with his truck due to height restrictions. However, he walked down into the garage and got me jump started with a mobile jump start kit and then towed my car to a local dealership for battery replacement/repair once I drove it out of the garage. Our tire blew out on the beltway and we had just pulled over into the shoulder and were trying to figure out our next steps when Dave suddenly pulled up behind us like an angel! He saw that we needed help and stopped to assist. He was courteous and thorough and quickly escorted us to safely get in his truck while he lifted our car onto his truck bed. Dave is efficient and fast. He actually beat me to the car (I was at home). He loaded the car and had it up on the flatbed in no time. Same with unloading it at my house. My car is a '31 Model A and he took extra care to be sure it wasn't damaged or scratched (by overhead limbs) when it was dropped off. My sister called me that she got a flat tire in Kensington and pulled into a shopping center parking lot . I drove down and found her parked too close to other cars to use the car jack. Dave is reliable and fair. He first tried to change my flat tire to save me from having to be towed thrust tried to save me a few bucks. Unfortunately I had a company vehicle with lug nuts that required a specific key. I had to be towed 40 miles at $8.00 a mile.
